I love the fit. I am 5'6½". I bought the short length and they are perfect for me. If I were to wear anything taller than a 2" heel they would be short. The jeans I received did not have the cute split seam at bottom.

These pants are great: good quality denim, nicely stitched, comfortable rise, & serviceable. Perhaps because black but also cut, they could be dressed up. Only caution: do not order regular length unless you're tall. Although I'm 5'2.5" I usually wear R lengths - I like pants longer. However, even the S length had to be hemmed. I'd read another reviewer who made same comment, didn't take her advice & so had to exchange R length for the S. Finally, I've happily worn Ariat books; they're just as good in crafting jeans.

These are my favorite jeans to ride in. Of course they are too long just to wear around, they are made for riding horses, sillies! They are comfortable, fit well, the rise is just right, and they make my butt look good.

Love these jeans. They are some of the most comfortable I have ever owned and they come in talls! I don't ride a horse, but I ride a Harley and they are nice and comfy with a slight stretch. I found them while traveling and could not get them within 100 miles of where I live. Zappos to the rescue. It was my first Zappos order and it went perfectly.

I love these jeans! The denim is a durable weight- its a little stiff but also doesn't feel like I'm going to rip through the knee when I step into the saddle. I really love how they fit tight enough to look great but I still have full range of motion. They don't constrict on your legs or pinch your knees! The only thing I would change would be to make them more 'boot' cut rather than the bell/flare cut. I prefer a smaller leg opening.

Love these jeans! The fit is excellent and the thickness of the material makes them perfect for riding. I ordered them one day and received them the next day. Zappos makes returns so easy. Zappos is my absolute favorite place to shop!

First pair of jeans purchased on line and first pair of Ariats. So impressed that I just ordered another pair of the "real riding jean" in the skinny style. Fits true to size (I wear size 4 and ordered 27) and extremely comfortable. Will be my jeans of choice for riding. Super fast shipping also.

LOVE these! Great fit, great looking. There is no reason you can't ride in style. I hate wearing a belt when I ride. The waistband on these jeans does not gap at all - yay, no belt! I am a curvy 5'6" 135 lbs., a 28R fit just right. The regular might be a little long for some, but covers your boots just right for riding. I will be wearing them for other activities too because they are so very flattering. I ordered another pair right away.

I have always wanted some jeans like this, but all too often I find that they did not fit the curvy body style. These jeans fit like a glove and form to YOUR shape. Started with one pair and bought another 2 pair with in a couple of weeks.

I have had these jeans for a month now and love them! They stay up on my hips where I do not need a belt they have some give so when I ride in them I don't have to worry about ripping them. I bought 2 more pairs and love that they come in the XLong!

Super comfortable. Like the rise and the way it fits my body. Runs long, so if you don't like the long cowboy boot look, consider ordering the shorter length

Maybe it's just because I'm short-ish, but I bought regular length and they are actually quite long and drag the floor a bit. It's fine, I just tuck them up. These are so comfortable and so flattering. They hug and flatter curves, plus they are EXCELLENT for riding in-lots of give. I couldn't be happier! :)

I have a booty and these jeans are great in covering it all in the saddle! Extremely comfortable and durable too! The stretch is fantastic but they look and wear like real denim. They do run a smidge on the roomier side.

Everyone is right! These jeans actually fit real bodies! They don't shrink, they don't fade. I am a working ranch girl and its so hard to find jean that are not all " blinged" up and that cover your butt. I do real work, bending, squatting and ridding. They are not high waisted but are not low riders either, just perfect with no gap or hang! They do run long in the regular. I am 5' 3" and a 30" waist and the Regular is just a tad long so I'm ordering a pair in a short to see. Best of all, they are so slimming! DO NOT STOP MAKING THESE JEANS. We need to get back to good useable jeans that fit and loose these show girl things every other brand is wearing!

I am 5'11" and a size 6 (27) these jeans fit perfectly anf the longs are the perfect length! They are a dream to ride my horse in or just go to town in, love the look and feel of these jeans. Ariat is definitely my new go to jean brand!

I am just pleased with my Jeans. I love the style Riding Jeans, meaning the back is longer, therefore nothing is showing, if you know what I mean. I cannot wait to get my 3rd pair Spitfire, got the black and the eclipse.

I normally do English jumping, but planned a week on a dude ranch in Wyoming where I would be riding Western every day. I wanted riding jeans that were truly comfortable so I wouldn't get rubs or pinches that would make riding every day in a different style than I'm used to uncomfortable. These were PERFECT! Truly comfortable, soft, thick, stretchy, long. When you have boots on, they reach the back of your heel, even when riding. I ordered 29, got them, thought they were too tight, so I ordered 30. When I tried on the 30's, I noticed they were almost immediately stretching and feeling too loose, so I kept the 29s and returned the 30s. THESE ARE STRETCHY. If you are in-between sizes, order the lower one. These are so cute, I wear them all the time, including to go out. Enjoy!

These are the most comfortable jeans i have ever had in my life. my wardrobe will soon me nothing but ariat!

These are my go-to jeans for riding. They fit true to size and they don't stretch out with wear. I can wear these 3 or 4 days and they don't bag out. The spitfire color is nice for hot days, it's not so dark that it's hot, but it's not so light that it looks dirty. The long length is shorter than other Ariat jeans, but still works for me with boots. The rise is high enough to keep a shirt tucked in but not so high that they look like mom jeans. Highly recommended!

I've had these jeans for about 4 months. They are my go to jeans and I am always sad when they are in the wash. They fit right out of the dryer and don't sag or get baggy when you wear them. I've been known to wear them for 2-3 days in a row and they look almost as good on day 3 as they do on day 1! I have a long torso and the mid rise on these is perfect, my back end doesn't hang out when i have to squat down or bend over. I always feel great in these jeans.

I bought the other to colors in the real Denim jeans they were so comfortable so I bought these this weekend I love the Ariat jeans they are so comfortable I will not by any other brand.

They are comfortable and they look good. I am 6'2" and the x-long are just barely long enough, but it is good to find some jeans that will work.

I love these jeans! I have worn many, many different brands, but these Spitfire R.E.A.L riding jeans are the best. They have a great fit, plus they do not bag or sag when you wear them all day. THANK YOU Ariat for finally making jeans that are great for wearing and riding!

I bought this jean a month ago....Love Love the fit...Perfect for riding ...I have washed several times no shrinkage..I am ordering another pair in a different color
