I was disappointed in these Taos. Not only was the shoe not sized right but the straps were ruff on my feet. The shoes had been worn before and returned and you could tell by scuff Mark on footbed and strap seemed to be stretched out on one shoe.. I am returning.

Had bought this style from Taos a few years ago - the sole has changed to a harder stiffer plastic and is not skid proof. Not as comfortable. Wish they kept the original type of sole.

I liked the way this sandal looked but it was not comfortable enough to go on a one-month trip to Europe with me. So returned them.

I had a pair of gray shoes just like these, but when I got these, I was so disappointed because the straps were narrow and not wide like the ones in the picture, and the ones I have. I loved the navy that you sent me, but the straps were not comfortable. I sent them back for this reason.

The fit and comfort are good, but the straps are scratchy and really rub my toe. I have to return.

Very cute shoes and comfortable but they run small, so i'm returning them, I kept the aetrex sandals that look very similar. Thank you Zappos for easy ordering, returns, and the selection as well as videos of shoes, it helps to see them on someone, not just a picture of the shoes.

I really wanted to like this show after all the good reviews but it just wasn't right on my foot.

Looks good, fits well, will not bend very hard sole. Not easy to walk in because so stiff. For the price should have been more comfortable.

Although this sandal is stylish with moderate arch support, it isn’t very comfortable. I’m really disappointed.

These are really cute, casual sandals but, sadly, I had to return them. For me, the arches were too high and the strap that goes around the heel is too low, which means they never felt secure on my feet. I do love the style though and the adjustability of the velcro straps.

Felt a half size smaller than stated. My toes were starting to creep off the edge even though I secured the front of the shoe. Also, the arch didn't seem to hit my arch. Slightly off. In all fairness, I have flat feet but when the arch support is right, it's right. This was not. Shoe felt comfortable but just not for me. Thank you Zappos for being patient with me and letting me try shoes that I can't find in the store or at least, never my size!

I really wanted to like this shoe because I thought they were so cute and perfect with denim. They were not comfortable and the straps pulled and rubbed on my feet.

Design and velcro straps were scratchy and uncomfortable.

Fit and size was good but material felt rough and seemed like it would cause rubbing.

Straps edges were very rough against the skin; too clunky looking

I have several pairs of these same shoes. This pair was the same size as I have previously ordered but it was a bit smaller, my toes almost hung over the end which made them uncomfortable. It's a shame, I loved these sandals. Also, the leather is not as flexible as the previous pairs were. It seems they have been cheapened significantly.

straps scratchy

They were beautiful and had good arch support but the straps were itchy and gave me blisters. I walk 4 miles a day, at least, to and from work and around and about. Still looking for a sandal that looks good for work but is comfortable with the mileage I put on it.

Still too small! I've ordered these in a 39 and now a 40 and both are much too small. I am usually a 9.5, so this sizing really is confusing. Order large! They are cute, but I don't find the straps to be that comfortable.

Very poor quality compared to prior years' versions, especially at this very high price point. I have worn this style for years and loved them .. until now. Leather straps were scratchy. All materials seemed much cheapened and cushioning was minimal. Please tell Taos that they need to improve these sandals -- this pair wasn't even close to being worth $180.

They're pretty but they've made my feet look ugly because my pinky toes were both scratched after walking a mile. I bandaged the toes and tried the shoes on again the next day only to be rewarded with debilitating back pain. The footbed is comfortable but the arch is ever so slightly off that I don't know if I'll get to the point where the sandals are broken in and comfortable. Should have returned them after trying them on and they felt weird, but I believed the numerous reviews saying these are comfortable. No, they are not. I can walk more miles without injuries wearing cheap flip-flops.

Very uncomfortable straps; could tell they would be painful and blister. Cute but poor design.

The sandals look and feel great but the soles of the sandals are a hard plastic. They are slippery on certain surfaces. I slipped and fell on a wooden staircase. Sadly, I am returning them.

I have had serval pairs of Taos sandals size 38 and the fit has been perfect. This style in a size 38 seems to run large all around.
