After developing plantar fasciitis while jogging, I was on a search for a cute sandal with plenty of arch support. Also, I didn't want it to look so orthopedic! For me Trulie fits the bill. The shoe has Velcro adjustments at the ankle and toes that remain hidden. At first, I didn't realize it had an adjustment at the toes. I ordered size 37 and usually wear 6.5. Being new to the Taos brand, for me this shoe is true to size. I ordered both the burnt orange and marine blue. The burnt orange is a muted orange and marine blue is not as vibrant as the picture - it is more of a muted distressed blue. I ended up keeping both colors. These shoes also have enough room for me to Velcro in my Superfeet insoles (the ones made for high heels.) They are comfortable enough to wear all day with shorts or casual dresses.

I found these sandals at a store but they told me they were not available in my size and also none others available in Oregon, so while I was talking to the salesperson, my husband went to Zappos.com and found them in my size, we walked out of the store and in three days I had them. With Zappos' excellent service, I have been able to try way too many sandals recently. I really thought this would be the one as the arch support felt wonderful at first. However, after wearing them around the house for a while, I realized it was too much arch, even though I have high arches. I knew it was too much when I got foot cramps in the middle of the night. I was very disappointed. Otherwise they are very comfortable, but sadly I have to return them.

I really like these shoes but they run small. I wear a 37 in Birkenstock and had to order a 39 in this shoe. Luckily I tried it on at a store before ordering from Zappos

Beautiful shoe, but I found it to run a size small. I usually wear a 9, and the 40 (listed as 9-9.5) was so short that my toes hung off the end.

These are my new favorite sandals! I have narrow, sensitive feet, so I need comfortable shoes with adjustable straps. These fit my feet perfectly! I've worn them frequently over the past month or so and no blisters to be seen. They also feel nice and supportive. They definitely run small. I almost exclusively wear a size 9, but had to go up to a 41 (10-10.5). I wish there was just a solid 9.5, because those might have fit even better, but I don't mind the extra room on the 10s. Highly recommend!

I have bought Taos sandals before and find the 39 fits. This shoe runs short. I had to exchange it for the 40. I like the look of the braided leather, which also stretches and softens a bit with wearing. The adjustable straps across the toes and around the ankle make this a good shoe if one's foot is a bit wide or narrow. Plenty of cushioning in the footbed makes this a comfortable shoe. I got the yellow, which is a cheerful, definite yellow, but not so bright that one can't wear it with many things. I may get another pair in another color.

I love these shoes. Great arch support and very comfy. I recommend them. About to order another pair in another color. I like how in 2 places you can velcro them to fit your foot. I am not a big Taos fan.

Haven't worn them a ton yet but are very comfortable. The yellow color is indeed yellow but is subdued and almost a funky neutral - I really like it. I usually wear a 9 but had to get 9.5.

Love these. Very cute and extremely comfortable. Only negative is that the leather dye came off on my feet. First wearing pretty dark and now getting lighter. Someone suggested rubbing the leather on the inside with alcohol which I haven't done yet. However, these are so out of the box comfy that they will be coming on vacation with me.

Good for skirts or shorts, this seems a very versatile and comfortable sandal. The velcro across the forefoot is so low profile I didn't realize it was there at first. The shoe is fully adjustable.

Absolutely love this sandal. Very comfortable. Very stable. Very stylish. The velcro strap adjustments allow you to custom fit the sandal.

Love this sandal! Color is really nice. My only comments are, I had to go up a size and one of the straps rub a little.

Wonderful arch support! The fit was perfect, until I started walking and the straps were cutting into my three toes on each foot. Bummer! The leather is stiffer than I thought it should be.

Love this shoe and Zappos is always my favorite place to shop! I ordered my regular size and it was a little small. Is definitely recommend going up a half size.

This shoe was comfortable right out of the box. I bought it to wear on vacation and walked all day with no discomfort. I have very flat feet and the arch support was excellent. My foot is on the thin side but I don't like a tight fit. It was perfect for me. And the style is very cute - much more attractive than some other comfort shoes. One other plus for me is the suede footbed which breathes better than microfiber footbeds. Overall it is great sandal!

Beautifully crafted sandal. Excellent arch support and heel height. However the braiding on the straps was abrasive on the edges and irritated my toes. Had to return and select similar style without the braiding.

These were just not flexible enough for me; felt like I was stomping, not walking.

Nice design and materials, but didn't care for the tone (too yellow/gold). Will try another more neutral color

I’m a 71/2 and the 7 was too small and the 8 gapped at the ankles. Gorgeous shoe and very comfy just didn’t work for my feet. Wish Taos made 1/2 sizes.

Unfortunately there is just one spot where the strap around the ankle rubs and from past experience, I know it will rub a blister in that tender spot. Perhaps they could be broken in..

The stone color is a great match for khaki pants, looks good with black also. I was able to adjust the fit to my low volume feet without the velcro tabs hanging over much at all. Every strap can be tightened. Pretty sure the stone color is unflattering to my skin tone (very fair), but will keep the shoes due to great fit. The secure fit is important for traveling (getting on a tour bus). The higher heel is very comfortable. Not too heavy to pack.

I really wanted to like, but felt like my foot wanted to slide forward when walking even though I tightened the toe strap. Also the braided strap seems to rub my little toe. Cushion & arch were good. Loved the neutral color.
