I have been wearing the Taos Trulie sandal for several years. The Trulie footbed runs a full size smaller than other shoes. I normally wear a size 40 (9). In the trulie I wear a size 41. I have 5 or 6 different colors in the Trulie and have been wanting the black since Day 1, but always have gotten distracted by the colors and put off the basic black until now. I'm sure I will wear it for years. Taos shoes seem very expensive initially. I have had bunion surgery, still have a bunion on my other foot, plantar fascitis, very high arches and have had numerous stress fractures. The cork footbed in the Taos sandal gives me excellent arch support. The straps are adjustable which is good to acommodate my bunion. The shoes look good on my feet and are stylish. Another selling point is they wear well and I am still wearing the first 2 pairs I purchased several years ago.

These are hands down the BEST sandals you will ever strap onto your feet. I have lots of foot problems - flat feet, plantar fasciitis, tendonitis, you name it. I live in a hot climate and wore these almost every day for a year straight and experienced NO foot pain. During the first day or two the straps felt like they might be a bit scratchy, but that feeling went away before the week was out. Trust me, I am not one to "just deal" with painful shoes. After a full year of wear (365 days! Not just the summer! It's always summer where I live...), the velcro is beginning to wear down, so I'm back to order a new pair. I cannot recommend these highly enough. Close all of your other tabs and buy these sandals! Worth every penny.

Beautiful sandal! While I love the ability to adjust with velcro for my very narrow feet, the arch was very uncomfortable. It seemed to be too high and not in the correct location for my foot. I am sorry to have to return, but the arch and heel fit did not accommodate my feet.

Very pretty but I guess it was too good to be true. This brand tends to run a little small so that my toes just overhang, plus the arch is in the wrong place. I keep trying taos but I think I have to MoveOn. They’re very pretty but not for me

Love these sandals! Comfortable from the start, walked 2 miles on day one. Great support and style. Others have complained about the Velcro clasp, but I have not had a hint of a problem.

I bought these because I have arthritis in my big toe and finding comfortable sandals is a chore. Knowing I would have to spend more money to manage this issue, I reluctantly purchased my first pair four years ago. I am happy to report that I am in love with these sandals and have been able to wear these as my main summertime shoe without issue. Recently, I purchased other styles of sandals in other brands to replace these as they are now looking well-loved but I found that I had to pull my Trulies back out of my closet to get my arthritis pain to settle down again. I will be buying these until they no longer stock them. I will note that I did have the Velcro replaced at a shoe repair store after my second season because I wasn't ready to part with them and the rest of the shoe was in wearable condition. It was worth it!

I'm returning because they are stiff and therefore very uncomfortable.

Arch support is good however the straps don't place correctly on my foot. They bunch in the back and the front straps really cut into my small toe. I was very hopeful for these because I have plantar fasciitis. They just do not fit right or provide the relief I thought they would.

Taos sandals! First of all I love the brand it is my go to for summer!! They fit because they can be adjusted. The cork gives me lift and comfort . The leather is what I look for..leather, made in Spain! I have been stopped asked about my sandals in numerous locations..in grocery lines to check in at The Belligo in Vegas I have been told they look comfortable yet so pretty. This time I picked red Trulie! such a happy color and they give me a little height! This is my 5th pair of Taos . I also have gray and camel Universe Taos which I always take one of them as my base on travels. These sandals are made for walking!

I am crunched for time, but I NEEDED to take the time to let EVERYONE WHO HAS A BUNION KNOW, THIS IS THE SHOE FOR YOU! Seriously, the braided straps are very soft, even softer after a few days of wear. The way the shoe is made, it completely misses the bunion. My foot is supported nicely, and the straps of the sandal completely miss the bunion. I can walk for hours with no pressure on the bunion area. I saw them at a shoe store, tried them on and COULDN'T BELIEVE THE COMFORT! The sandal I have been looking for all my bunion-life!! I was delighted to find a Rainbow of colors... Same style is available in all-leather also from Zappos. I had to purchase a few more colors, and will purchase a few more this SPRING!!! Amazing comfort! I love this shoe! ,

This is my second pair of this exact sandal. I have these in both dark blue and black. I like how many ways the straps can be adjusted. Only drawback is the dark blue ones did leave dye on my feet one time, maybe because I still had sunblock on my feet?? But after we realized I wasn’t blue necause of actual bruises no big deal. I bought the second pair in black because I need both comfort (occasional bad back) and arch support (usually wear orthotic insert) and these shoes deliver both. I feel the style still looks dressy enough to wear with a casual sundress or shorts or pants.

I love these! I have thin feet but need a wide shoe, plus plantar fascitis, so I have trouble finding shoes that fit well and are comfortable. These shoes are wonderful! I can wear them teaching all day long, and my feet don't hurt. Plus, the style is very versatile.

These sandals fit very comfortably on my feet. I did not find them to be scratchy as described by another reviewer. They feel secure on my feet all day and the arch support is good.

These are by far my favorite sandals. I can comfortably wear them all day. I like the style and the fit is perfect. I'm going to order more in some more - I love their color choices!

This is a good looking and supportive sandal. They made my size 11 feet look smaller than they are. The neutral color goes with everything. They seemed a little short in the toe for me. I returned them because during a 20 minute walk they rubbed both my 4th and 5th toes. It's too bad, because they are lovely and good quality.

Although I loved the look of these sandals, I am returning them because the fabric of the strap was irritating to my foot. Did not want to break them in because most of my Taos sandals are great out of the box!

I love these sandals! I usually only purchase my shoes in a size W, as most shoes are too narrow for me. These don't come in a W and I tried them on at the mall and was surprised they fit my feet so well. I don't believe these run wide, but because of the velcro the fit is adjustable. These truly are the most comfortable, supportive sandals I own and I have several pairs of Vionic & Comfortiva. I do agree with some reviewers that the braided strap is a bit scratchy in some places, but doesn't bother me enough to return them. I only wish these weren't so pricey...or I would order several more pairs in different colors!

Loved the shoe but had to return. The footbed has a tall edge and on one foot it hit me just a little off. Knew it would be terrible after a few miles walking.

Very cute sandals, great color choices, and quite adjustable thanks to the strap configuration. i have super fussy feet (flat, bunions, sensitive) and these sandals don't have quite enough cushioning for me. Also, the straps feel rough. They're OK for short periods of time.

I am typically not good about writing reviews. But I had to leave one for these sandals. I love them. I have actually had my eye on them for a few years. I’ve tried them on in stores, but just couldn’t bring myself to spend the money. And then I thought about how much I often spend on athletic shoes, very nearly the same amount, and they don’t even last me a year. I know I will get years of wear out of these sandals. They are so comfortable! The arch is perfect. The adjustable straps are awesome. They look great with so many outfits, even dresses. I am so happy I finally purchased them. I should have bought them long ago. I hope they never discontinue these sandals, because I will be buying them again.

I need shoes for a vacation to France. Something I could wear day or night. These shoes are so comfortable. I love the tan color. Soft leather is under the roping so it's very comfortable. Perfect heel where it lifts and takes pressure off the ball of my foot. Good support and width was good. I usually buy a M width.

Loved everything about these! They felt comfortable and secure. I did return them sadly because I have balance issues and I was afraid of my foot sliding due to the heel height. It's very minimal but I personally couldn't risk having a fall.

These sandals are a perfect fit for my imperfect feet. They are the right height that can be worn casually and semi-dressy. A great Summer sandal.
