Great arch support in a sporty thong!

The sandal was a full size larger than the Zappos recommended size. I purchased a pair of Vionics in a brick and mortar last year to insure correct sizing. That said, the reason for the Purchase of the "Wave" was because the Vionic footbed from last year's purchase had seemingly lost footbed support and broken down internally causing some pain. This behavior is common with tennis shoes these days. So I thought I would try the "Wave" model. So far I like them and the support seems adequate for my high arched - high instep 5E wide foot. What remains is to see how the footbed holds up after a year of usage.

For reference, these are significantly bigger than the Vionic Tide in women's 8 (even though the sizing says women's 8). I ended up needing to go to women's 7 in the women's Tide 2. I usually wear 8 in most shoes. Overall, they seem pretty comfortable now that I've got the right size and arch fit.

I bought the chocolate wave sandals and love the look of the sandals, but I had to return the sandals for a full size larger. The sole of the flip flops are a bit hard also, so maybe you can make the sole just as comfortable as the Vionic Tide II women’s sandals.

I tried these on in a Brick and Mortar store to get the size that I need which was One size larger than the Zappos recommendation.

I bought these to wear at home when I started having plantar fasciitis pain and my feet begged me to never go barefoot. They helped a lot, super squishy and mega arch support...in fact when I first put them on the arch support felt so big it almost hurt, and I have high arches and most of the time the arch in shoes doesn’t even touch my foot. They’re not nice looking, but not offensive either. The straps feel a little loose so they flop around a little more than I’d like.

Very hopeful about these sandals. Have worn Chaco Flip EcoTread for years but they changed the fit. Desperately need a replacement and ordered the Vionic Wave in my normal size. They straps are very loose, but it feels like the flip-flop may be just too large. The arch support feels like it may be just right (I have a high arch) and am ordering in a size down. I hope these work!

Ordered a size 10 as per size chart recommendation. I received a size 10. My foot is a 10 1/2. They fit but with little to no room to spare. At the edge at both ends. An 11 would have been to much. If they had made a 10 1/2 it would have been perfect. Just enough overhang. Still a good sandal but like I said no room to spare. Thumbs up...

I usually wear a 9.5 or 10 wide in womans and these are the only flip flops that have ever been comfortable. The women’s wides are not comfortable but these are perfect.

This is a unisex sandal so didn’t quite fit right. I ordered women’s size 9 (8 men’s) and it felt loose. Other than that loved the style and would have kept if they had been more snug

My feet just slipped right into these very comfortable sandals, and off I walked. Hooray! The Wave is one of the few thongs I can wear as I've got PF. There's good sole grip here, comfortable strap material and good heel cushioning, too. They fit true to size. Now can we just have some more fun colors to choose from?

I have worn these sandals for years because of recurring PF. The womens 9 is bit too long but the 8 is too short- I really wish that they came in half sizes. These do help with correcting pronation and provide some relief from the pain of PF.

Love this shoe, amazing to find such great arch support in a flip-flop! It runs large, though, almost a full size large on my size-10 feet, making it difficult to keep them on.

Great shoe, just runs pretty wide for a woman.

The Hubs wears size 14 in a sandal like this, and that’s what i ordered. The length of the shoe is right, but it is a little narrow. He cannot ever go around barefooted because of plantar fasciitis, and he ordered these sandals to wear around the house. They will be just fine for that. If he had planned to wear these out he’d have needed to return them for being narrow, but they will be just fine between the shower and the bedrooom. Support is good. Good quality workmanship.
