Let's face it. All of the Merrell slides fit differently in the same way other brands have different fits among their styles. (People have different feet; one design won't work for all.) The slides may all look the same, but they are not. For example, Encore Pro Grip is a perfect fit for me. Encore Nova is too short in my size and too long in the next size up. Wow was I distressed when they stopped making the Pro Grip. Glad to see it back in production. Most shoes could use orthotics and if you can't afford them, Superfeet are a good substitute. At least with Merrell you can remove the insole. I do. I used Superfeet, which was superior to old style orthotics, until I was introduced to the new orthotics by Firefly being provided in the UK (may be in the US as well). That's right I have to have a friend ship me my shoes from the US, and I was confident that once Merrell started making the Pro Grip again that the shoe would fit like it used to. It does. (Lots of nurses must have complained.) If you can find your style of Merrell slide--the one that fits your foot--, then Zappos is a great place to order from. I noticed that the sole is slightly different on this model of Pro-Grip; the jury is out on how this new sole will hold up. I wore my last pair for nearly 10 years (a couple hours a day every day).

I spend many hours on my feet in the kitchen and have always worn the Merrell Encore Pro. I just purchased a new pair because my old ones finally wore out and these fit so well, are very comfortable and hold me up all day. But the insole is now different. It's much harder, less comfortable and a little disappointing. This might not be a deal breaker for everyone but I'm bummed. I loved this shoe with its original insole.

I own several pairs of Merrell slip on shoes. All have been comfortable with or without orthotics and have held up beautifully. These are my go to comfortable casual shoes to wear with pants or jeans. I have both leather and mesh varieties.

These are the best work shoes ever! I work in a supermarket bakery and we don't have rubber mats on which to stand. These are skid-resistant and really comfortable. I actually don't mind standing in them all day. Highly recommended.

I own the pro grip and the encore 2. They both fit well and I love them. Wear 8 to 81/2 and ended up getting the 8 in both shoes. I have orthotics and they work great with these shoes. Wore them for the first time shopping and no problem. And I can not say enough good things about Zappos! They manage to ship the shoes so fast that it is unbelievable. SO GREAT SERVICE!!

I ordered this style for my 93 year old mother who has a hard time bending to put on her shoes. It is perfect in that it slips on but does not slip off when walking. She loves the arch support and the style. She wears a 9 1/2 and that was too big. Not a problem with Zappos easy exchange. The 9 fits perfectly. I am relieved that she will be walking on the non-slip soles and will be comfortable and less likely to fall this winter.

Comfortable from the moment I put it on. I have trouble with achy feet and need a good arch support and these are great -- arch hits me in exactly the right spot. They are probably not the most stylish shoes in the world, but I am long past caring about that. Will buy another pair soon.

This is my second pair of Merrell Pro Grips and my ::counts on fingers:: sixth pair of Merrell clogs. Clearly, I love them. Comfortable, easy to slip on and off, and a slight heel counter to hold my orthotics in place. I wear almost nothing but Merrell clogs. When I figured out that the Merrell Breeze was not warm enough in the house in the winter (I live in n.w. Wisconsin) I bought a pair of Merrell ProGrips because they were leather and I like the idea of a more slip-proof sole. Although nothing is slip-proof on glare ice, of which we have plenty, these have the best traction of non-boots/non-YakTrax footwear. Please keep making these forever, Merrell. I promise to buy a new pair every fall whether I need them or not. (Other colors would be nice, too!)

Love these shoes! I used a slightly different style of these Merrell shoes before x 2 and always loved the shoes. I work on my feet all day- comfortable, stay easily on your feet, and last for a long time! Easy cleaning if you are in the medical field!

I tried many different brands and these and the Keens were the only ones that worked for me. Very comfortable. There is a lot of arch support in these Merrells. I am a 5.5 and these fit true to size.

My first pair was in black and I wear them so much that I had to have another. They provide great arch support and comfort with obvious ease of off and on. This is the first time that I have worn Merrells and love them.

Love these shoes!! I waitress, so I am on my feet ALL the time! I even have planters fasciitis and was afraid of the arch support in these shoes...but bought them on a recommendation from a coworker. Glad I did!! Arch support is great and my feet are comfortable throughout my whole shift!

Thank goodness Merrell decided to make the Encore Pro Grip style again!! I spend so much time and effort trying on shoes and seldom do I find a pair that I can wear. I have had several foot surgeries. I bought this style two years ago and still wear them...The shoe is true to size and very comfortable. You can't go wrong!!

I had this exact pair, worn daily, for the last four to five years. If little pieces of the sole near the toe loosened after years of wear, I just glued it back on and kept going. Talk about rugged shoes, wow! I am keeping my old pair for other purposes. They just never want to wear out! I ordered this new pair in same size and it was too small and hurt one foot. I contacted Zappos and they got another pair out to me pronto, a half size larger. They feel good but I am going to need to wear thicker socks. Apparently the sizing has changed! I hope these shoes wear as well as my old pair. Zappos is the place to buy!

I love these shoes for their comfort and ease of cleaning them up after a shift in the bakery. I am beyond thrilled that Merrell has come out with a slip resistant shoe! However, I do want it noted that had I ordered them through this website I'd have returned them for a full size smaller. I have a pair of Merrell Jungle Mocs in a size 5 1/2, and although they are comfortable they're a bit snug. So I ordered these in a size 6 and they are way too big! I'm surprised how a different style of shoe can vary so much. Unfortunately, I did not order the new pair through Zappos. I went to a local shoe store, and after wearing them to work can not return. So, just heed my advice and buy at least a 1/2 size smaller.

I love Merrell shoes. I wear them all the time. I am glad that they came out with this model. I think they are very cool looking and comfortable like all the others.

This shoe felt wonderful the moment I put it on. I wear 8 1/2 or 9. Ordered the 9 so I could wear thick wool socks. They are perfect, even with my fairly wide feet. Exchanged the insole with a premium Superfeet insole, and now the support is excellent. Thank you, Zappos! Your service is remarkable!

Very pleased with Zappos - reliable, can't beat the free shipping - both ways...and they offer a wide variety of products to choose from with dependable descriptions. These shoes are excellent - goes with the "Merrell" name...people say "Those are Merrell's, aren't they?" "Where did you find them?" And I happily share my Zappos.

I have two pair of the mesh Encore Breeze shoes that have been great for summer. Not so great when our soggy Oregon weather starts! I was afraid the leather would be too stiff for comfort but decided to take a chance on this style. To my delight, the leather is soft as butter while the sole is firm, stable, and slip-resistant. As someone who normally wears a "wide" and this shoe fits fine in a "medium".

I'm very pleased not only with the shoes I ordered but with the quick delivery. The price was right too.

I bought these shoes to wear to work; I'm a bartender, and comfortable shoes with good grip are important---sometimes I'm on my feet for more than 10 hour-shifts. These shoes felt extremely comfortable when I tried them on, however--they ran about a half size too large. I wear a 7 normally, but I would probably need a 6.5 in these. Also, I have narrow heels, so I'm going to have to return them. It felt like my heel would come out of these going up or down stairs, or maybe even just walking. Really too bad, because they felt great and seemed durable.

MErrill is my 'go to' shoe for every day comfort. Either the last has changed or my foot has changed. These are too narrow in the toe box for me. My Merrill Jungle Moc(1 yr old) fit great, so I was hoping these would, too.. Luckily, another customer had similar issue. That person mentioned Alegria shoe. Alegria slide has wider toe box w/o sliding off my foot. I LOVE, LOVE Zappos for shipping policy free both ways. I never buy my shoes anywhere else, as my small town has little to offer in my size/width. I am size 7, B width IF toe box is generous. Wide shoes never work for me.Thanks, Zappo!
