Perfect for travel or long days when you don't want to carry a purse, because of the pockets. I have had several Kuhl brand shorts before and they last and last, but not only durable, very functional. They will be my go-to shorts for our Europe trip this summer. I have to send up some accolades for Zappos customer service; oh my gosh - they are the best to work with. I wanted to go out on a limb with a different color in these shorts and ended up deciding on the safe ol' khaki color. They made the exchange so easy AND I literally had my replacement ones before I got to UPS to ship back the other color. I am so impressed with the staff at Zappos!

I feel like these are the shorts I have been waiting for. I love the comfort of them and that fact that you can wear them rolled up or down (I prefer down). They dry quickly and are perfect for travel, hiking, and daily wear. The pockets are in the right places and the side ones fit my phone comfortably. I ordered a size up (a 6 instead of 4) as was recommended fir a perfect fit.

I bought my regular size and they fit well. I do like the thinner material which is nice for warmer days. Cute cargo pant style. It would be nice if the waistband was not as snug. Going up a size is okay but then the hip area is baggier and the shorts are longer, which throws off the proportion for me. Overall these are really comfortable. Can wash in cold water and hang dry overnight. Very nice selection of colors too.

Great short, nice to have a longer length for some days. Length was fine for me, I am 5'10 and 170. I bought the 12 and they fit well. They are slightly more fitted than my other size 12 Kuhl shorts but not too tight, just something I noticed. Like the stitching detail and drawcord waist to customize to your waist. Kuhl makes amazing shorts for women. They are my go-to.

I love these shorts. I get compliments all the time. Light weight quick dry fabric. Cool style, nicely cut, makes me look thinner. Durable fasteners and sewing. Longer length is stylish and age appropriate. I'm 5'5" 136 lbs. ordered the 8 first, which was a bit large in the waist. Ordered the 6, which is perfect. Still using both pairs.

Flattering cargo shorts are challenging to find, thank goodness for the Kontra. The fabric is cozy, and will stretch a little when worn.

This (and the two other pairs I bought) are my new favorites! The fabric is lightweight and soft; a winning combination!

Wore these shorts today for the first time and I never want to take them off. They are super comfy, especially when they stretch a bit from wearing. And I'm not sure what color this image looks like on your computer, but in real life, the color is more like a cornflower blue.

I usually wear size 12 (often petite 12), but I was glad that I took advice from other reviews that I should size up; I purchased size 14, and it fits well (a little bit larger in the waist, but I will use a belt anyways). The color carbon do look a little like deep/dark green. I like the style and length of these shorts.

Love the comfort of these. They do run small.

Love, love, love, love, LOVE these. They're stylish, dry fast and are the perfect hiking shorts. The color is a very vibrant berry, easy to dust off between hikes.

Cozy fit. Bought these for a desert hiking tour in Sedona, AZ, which I haven't gone to yet. So I can't yet comment on how they perform, but they look well made.

I owe it to zappos write a good review on these pants. Otherwise, I would not want anyone to know how much I love these pants and that they have made a comeback. I'm selfish and want them for myself but here it is zappos.

Great shorts. Sizing is true in that a 10 is a 10 not an 8 to make me feel better. I like that they can be a high capri or rolled for long shorts and the side pocket is great for my phone. Ordered several because I can never find this kind of short for me.

Great well made sturdy pants. Had to reorder because the 4s felt a little short in the rise. I always wear and 2 or a 4. 5'3, 108; however, I ordered the 6 (my first) and love the fit.

i love Kuhl pants for being well made and utilitarian. These fit well and wear we,l. After being caught in a rainstorm and getting thoroughly drenched, these shorts dried completely and quickly. I ordered up to size 6 due to others reviews, but 4's were a better fit for me. Kuhls seem to have fluctuations in their sizing so it may require some trial and error. I wear them to work in and love them

Would give them 10 stars if I could. I read the reviews and ordered a size larger than my normal size and the size 6 fit perfectly (5'8 and 130 lbs). They're incredibly comfortable, light weight but not flimsy in the slightest and - most importantly - not cut that it shows camel toe (which seems to somehow be an issue with most pants I tried previously this season). Will definitely buy these in more colors.

I ordered a 4 and they were too small. I have several other Kuhl pants all size 4. I would order a size up with this short.

I have the Kuhl Kontra pant too. I took a 2 in that. The two in these was too small so I ordered a 4 and it fits perfectly, it measures up to the 2 pant as the same.....so size up in the short and you'll be happy. I love them....beautiful length, great color (camel) and fun. The pants I got in green and they are super, just loose enough for style.

I love these shorts. I have 3 pairs because of the comfort and deep pockets. Great for hiking as well as they just look good for everyday wear. By the way, they dry very quickly, great when traveling with limited luggage.

Comfortable, flattering back pockets, stylish and age appropriate for almost 50 yo. They are tighter at first and then stretch out a bit. I'm 5'4" 140 pounds. Smaller waist than hips/thighs. (Pear shape). I ordered a size 10 and think I will size down to an 8.

I just discovered the comfort of Kuhl brand. Love them! I was concerned on size because I am either 6 or 8 so the reviews helped. I bought the 8 and they fit perfect and are so comfy. I love this color.

I really love these shorts. I volunteer at the zoo and these shorts have enough pockets to hold everything I need. I also like the tapered leg. I usually wear a 2 regular but wear a 4 in this brand.

was planning on keeping these, wore them a few minutes to make sure they fit correctly, and the metal snap on them cannot be opened unless you unzip the zipper and open it from underneath, unless I really yanked on it and don't want to tear the fabric, these are going back, darn.

I like these. Be aware that they seem to run a bit small compared to other brands of the same style short.
