The belt is stylish etc. But, way to flimsy for my liking. Definitely a return item. And thanks to Zappos it's easy cheesey. Yay Zappos !!!!

I bought this belt from a local mountain shop, but when I actually put it on with my climbing trousers, there's a lot of tail left over. An XS version would be a lot better. No complaints about quality.

Strong, heavy, thick and broad, if you want a tactical or military style belt for 'prepping' or to hang a pistol, cuffs, night stick and other hardware from, I cannot think of a better belt than the Conveyor. But if you are looking for a discrete belt scaled as such for technical pants, shorts or knickers; this belt is not the best choice as its heavy, very stiff and too much for those needs. It's hard to find a good belt of that nature as the trend to stiff 1.50" and even 2" 'Tactical' style belts is slavish. Few quality belts of 3/4", 1" or 1.25" nylon belts can be found yet there is a need for such. I am uncomfortable with belts that feel like a overly wide band of steel around my waist and with a re-think, Arc'teryx can fill a real need in this regard.

Let me get this straight, this belt seems like it functions exactly as intended, and looks good as well! I just wish they made this in a size smaller than small. I am 6ft with a size 29 waist and the size small (43 inches) leaves way too much tail for my liking (a common issue in belts thanks to how skinny I am). If there was a size extra small at something around 37 or 38 inches I would wear this belt all the time.

As usual the Arc has produced a gorgeous really well-built item in great colors. But here we have a buckle that defies cinching no matter how broken in the belt gets. It begins sexy-stiff, by the way. Most all other belts allow tightening, most cinching. Arc's buckle's double gate looks fantastic but is just too much work to wear, requiring feeding through and and no tightening function. I don't wear mine. Too much fiddling.

I like the way this belt looks, and I think the materials used will be very durable, but it is more of a fashion piece than a practical belt. Because it is very stiff, it is relatively difficult to thread through the buckle and adjust the size. Sure it works, but it's a belt - I never even noticed "ease of use" in a belt before owning this belt.

It's a nice belt but hard to adjust. Once you have the tightness as you want it, threading the tail through the other part of the buckle tends to mess up the tightness you wanted. One can work through it, of course, but I don't have the patience to mess with it every time I put on the belt.

I bought this belt because it looked great and had glowing reviews but I was definitely disappointment when I received it. My waist size is a 33 and people had recommended getting the small, which was too small and left about 2 inches of belt once it was on, which felt way too short and looks like I've out-fattened my belt. Also the belt isn't easy to tighten and takes 3-4 times longer to tighten than any other belt I own. It looks good and seems sturdy but I wish I hadn't bought it for the reasons mentioned.

I like the look of the belt a lot, I've wanted this belt for a very long time, however since getting it and using it, it's been very hard to adjust and use properly. The fine tuning in adjustments is not easy to achieve.

Despite it looks cool it's the worst piece of cloth I have from Arcteryx. I put trust in this company that the products are perfect or nearly perfect so didn't expect the issue. The thing is that the belt just slips out during tightening. Every time I need to correct it which is simply a bit irritating. Didn't experienced such a problem in much cheaper belts.

I was really disappointed by this belt. The material is very stiff, not supple at all. It was very hard to get the thick rubber "tail" end through the buckle. It was very difficult to adjust it to the correct tightness because of how stiff the material is. Strangely, when hanging the belt from the buckle, it doesn't hang straight, but with a moderate "banana" shape. I doubt that is intentional. It seems that one edge of the webbing is woven tighter than the other. I have used lots of webbing back in my climbing days and I never worked with webbing that was this stiff. It is possible that with a lot of use, the webbing would soften and be more pliable, but I wasn't willing to take the chance or the bother to find out. Returned it the very next day.

I wanted to love this belt but alas it is not possible, it simply does not work. I tried numerous times to get this belt to actually tighten but it would not. The buckle does not create a bite on the actual belt and it refuses to tighten. It is a beautiful belt that does not work.

I ordered a medium which they state is 45.5inches long on the website as well in their video review which shows how to measure it. When mine arrived it was measured at 40.5 inches and was way too short to be worn. My girlfriend ordered a size small which we measured at 42 inches. I am left disappointed in the seemingly random lengths they sell them at.

If you read all the poor reviews you will see that there is no way to even get this belt, let alone keep it tight. Too bad because asked for and received it as a gift but alas will have to return it as it is just not functional. I am 5'11" 200 pounds - not skinny, but not fat- I can reach down and "attempt" to cinch it tight but the belt is just too stiff. I was hoping in the reviews someone would detail a work-around such as a way to soften it, but no such luck.

Very disappointing. A belt that can't be tightened, and won't stay tight. The buckle doesn't have any teeth to lock and hold the belt in place. If you can't tighten it, and it doesn't stay tight, Is it even a belt? Guess I'll go back to using an old extension cord to hold my pants up. Thanks for wasting my time.

Its looks great and Cool design, but I don't think this is usefull. Belt slips everytime you tried to tighten with one hand. It means You need to 2 hands to tighten, one hand to hold the side of belt and the other hand to pull. I've been using Patagonia similar belts for last over 5 years and perfectly works and great. i thought I should try arcteryx one since looks Cool Design....but it was just looks. NOT RECOMMEND for Serious Hikers or someone who are in for Technical, everyday use.
