I was very disappointed by the appearance of these shoes. They look almost nothing like the online photo. I got them in brown, and they had a shiny patent leather appearance. The brown is very dark, like a Hershey's chocolate bar. There is no variation or gradation in the coloring, so the leather doesn't even look real. The online picture looks very stylish. The actual product was an ugly brown and was sent back.

I previously bought these shoes in Jan 2016 and I loved the color and style. I just ordered the same exact pair and the color and shape was very different. See photo (older pair on the left).

I was very disappointed with the color of this shoe; it is nothing like the photos. It is more an ugly, cheap brown color; see photo. Didn't try them on.

The soles of these shoes have completely cracked, with one chunk even missing. I've had the shoes just over four months and have worn them at most twice a week, nothing very strenuous, maybe 10-15 minute walk on sidewalks/streets each time. You can see in the picture that the heel has almost no wear but the soles are horrendous. Highly disappointing. The style and fit don't even matter.

Summary: Maybe size down size. Take in account of width. Brogues on toes crack very easily. About me: I usually wear 11EE. I bought these in 11EEE, since EE wasn't an option. I have low arches, but a tall mid-foot. Width Fit: Me being EE and these being EEE, were maybe a tiny bit roomy width wise. Nothing drastic. I tried a D width and it was very tight around my midfoot and had visible buckling across the vamp while just standing. Length Fit: You could maybe size down. The toebox seems very roomy. It is a thumb width from the end of the shoe, which is usually recommended. Look: Initially, it's a very clean style. I personally liked the contrast stitching. Unfortunately, the leather on toe is very brittle and cracks very easily around the brogue holes. This was not apparent until I wore the shoe out and about and unable to return it now. I'm hoping polishing helps.

With a size 14, it's not easy to find well fitting shoes. I ordered several pairs before getting these. The Castellano was by far the most comfortable shoe right out of the box. It was like they were already broken in. Everything else was very stiff. They all probably would have broken in, but why wait. Love the style and slightly squared off toe box. Wish the other colors were available in my size as I would order those, too.

These are beautiful shoes. I was mislead by the reviews to believe that I needed to order a size down. I'm typically a size 14; I ordered size 13 but they were definitely too small.

The other reviews on this shoe helped me decide to go down a size. I also went with the wide fit. I am very happy with them, the leather is breaking in very nicely, and the toe cap is not to dark, and with a few scuffs it looks totally natural. Very pleased with my first pair of wingtips! I also love Zappos because I had tried another pair, returned them and got these within two days, no hassle, no fear, the only place I ever buy my shoes of any kind anymore!

Florsheim has become one of my favourite shoe brands after I purchased the Castellani Wingtip Oxford. Very stylish, snug fit and long lasting comfort when worn throughout the day as I did for work. I initially bought a size too wide even though I have broad feet. The medium width is what I actually needed. And in true Zappos style, I sent back the extra wide shoe and quickly got my perfectly fitting replacement. No regrets. A must-get.

Great stylish shoe. Though the brogues are not as dark as the image shows (they are the same brown as the majority of the shoe), a slightly darker brown shoe polish gave this shoe the kind of detailing I was going for. It is comfortable if a bit weak on the padding, but fits true to size.

I was very disappointed with these shoes. I felt like the color was misrepresented in the image and the overall feel of the shoe was lower-end than I had anticipated.

Sole cracked and fell apart. Nice looking shoe, but something is very, very wrong with the sole materials.

Poor quality materials. Soles on both shoes broke down after less than 12 wearings. Shoes were only used to walk from my car into office. Consider another brand.

Bought these for my 21 year old college grad to wear in his new career. Quality of shoe is disappointing as first delivery upon wearing one day the sole cracked horizontally in the middle of left shoe. Returned and received replacement very next day and the same thing happened to the left foot again after wearing shoe less than 8 hours. Fit was good; nice looking shoe but not constructed well. Told by a cobbler that the sole is not leather and therefore the cause of temp changes extracts and cracks the man-made sole. Replacing with Florsheim Classico with leather sole....keep you posted on next experience. Very friendly and helpful customer service representatives through this experience.

Nice shoe, but looks nothing like the pictures on Zappos. They show a distressed look, but the shoes I received are a solid dark brown. Going to return them, don't like the bland brown color.
