Love this jacket. Take it with me everywhere and often wear it at work in lieu of sweater. Wears well and washes up easily. Everyone in my family of 4 owns Atom LT as well as the Atom AR too. Arcteryx stands behind their products 110% and is good to deal with for questions as well as any warranty issues. Can't say enough good things about these jackets.

Love everything about this jacket. My daughter bought one for herself and I fell in love, had to get my own! The gorgeous fabric is lightweight, slightly stretchy, and has a matte finish (a lot less flashy than that shiny technical fabric that you see everywhere!). I bought it one size up to make for easy layering but this jacket is actually pretty roomy (not sloppy looking though) in my regular size.

This is the best jacket I've ever had. I manage to somehow use this jacket all 12 months of the year.

Here in the PNW, jackets are like t-shirts - you can never have too many. With that said, if I could have only one jacket, it would be the Atom LT Hoodie - in like every color. I reach for no other jacket as much as I do these.
I have the Stingrey, and Katalox. Family and friends that have never worn any Arc'teryx gear try it on and are instantly amazed at how comfortable it feels. The most common comment I get is, "Whoa! Doesn't even feel like I'm wearing a jacket!" - as they swing their arms and twist their bodies from side to side. It really is that comfy.
I'd say, for me, anyway, the Atom LT is good to about the low 40s. Anything colder, I'll either throw on another layer, or put on my Proton AR. If you run hot, these may work for you in the high 30s.

Love this jacket! First Arcteryx product I ever bought and have since expanded significantly, including a second LT hoodie to keep nice for work. I am 6' tall and slim and have always had problems finding jackets that are long enough in the torso and the arms. It is a perfect weight and still comfortable when layered with a vest. Not waterproof but resistant enough and still my go to for hiking in mist to light rain. Only down fall: firepit sparks seem to love it as much as I do and it is unfortunately not fireproof. Tiny spark holes everywhere! Thus the need for a second/ "formal" jacket. Arcteryx jackets all seem to have the same soft zipper and while it an be amazing, there are times (trail running) that it has a mind of its own.

Huge fan of this jacket, it is my go to for every occasion. For such a light jacket it has the perfect balance of warmth, breathability, weather protection and wind resistance. It doesn't excell at one thing, it's just great for lots of things. I think of it as hitting the sweet spot where 90% of your activity exists. It isn't a belay jacket and you need a hardshell in the rain for everything else this is the ticket.
Also looks pretty good casually on the street

This mid-layer is an essential for anyone who participates in a multi-layer system but especially for the Arc'teryx family. This fits perfectly under my Beta Hybrid and is great to wear hiking on the West Coast and East Coast. For hiking in mountain ranges, this jacket excels at providing comfortable temperatures throughout your hiking as you proceed higher in elevation.
As an everyday jacket, this is a BEAST. It looks good and works well with a pair of jeans and the Sunday market.

This is definitely the best jacket ever. I use this as a jacket at summer and winter, when im outside or inside at school, when its chilly and when its freezing. It works as a normal jacket as well as a perfect mid-layer. It feels like wearing a sweater if i wear it inside cold buildings.
I love everything about this jacket. The zipper is very smooth, the fabric is soft and warm, the pockets are spacy and it definitly looks incredibly good!

So good I bought 2 in different colours! Works well as a mid layer for cold days on the mountain, but also great on its own for walking, hiking etc. I use mine a lot for golf as it has stretch panels in the arms which allow for great swing movement, and it looks really stylish. Slight waterproofing for light showers but would recommend an outer layer for heavier rain conditions.

The first Arc'teryx product I purchased a couple of years ago was the Atom LT Hoody. I loved it! It was warm, but not too warm, so I could wear it for extended periods and get much more use out of it than other jackets.
I also love the fact that it packs down really small. I have put it in my computer bag when on business trips and made good use of it while traveling in addition to wearing around town or when hiking.
Some months later I misplaced the Jacket. After weeks of looking for it, I thought it was lost for good. I missed it so much that I decided to purchase a replacement. As luck would have it, I found the original a week after the replacement arrived. My wife started wearing the other jacket and liked it better than her {other brand} jacket. However, she wanted one that fit her better, so I purchased the women's Atom jacket. She loves it! So now we have three Atom Jackets.
I am so impressed with the quality of Arc'teryx products that I have since purchased many more items - from gloves to shells and will continue to do so.
I'm a big guy and wish some of their products were offered in larger sizes, but the Atom LT Hoody has worked great for me.

This is by far my favourite jacket of all time. So worth the money. I've got it in black, but I'll definitely be buying one in another colour soon. I purchased a Medium and I'm 5'0, 130lbs, curvy-build and it fits perfectly. It's just warm enough without being a furnace for cross country skiing, and ideal for spring/fall wear. On those summer alpine hikes or cooler summer nights, as well as general everyday running-around-town-kind-of-wear, it's just an all-around amazing jacket. Did I mention it's also flattering?

I have been shopping around for an everyday commuter jacket from fall through winter, and couldn't be happier with my decision on this jacket. The small design details and craftsmanship really set the jacket apart.

Great jacket for active and casual lifestyles. Fits very nicely, wrist bands are comfy and dont let cold air in. Hood can fit over a climbing helmet but is a bit tight. Slim fit makes it not bulky when wearing a harness or large hiking pack Packs up small, still pretty warm when wet. Warm enough for hiking / climbing in -5C but below that you probably want the atom ar.

I got my first Atom LT a bit on a whim as I'd heard a few people say how good they were but boy oh boy good is an understatement! The jackets so light and small you can take it anywhere and the balance they've striked with the insulation means you can pretty much wear it all year round here in the UK! I've got 2 now 1 small and 1 medium. The medium is great for a looser fit for casual wear and the small is perfect for technical use, keeping you slightly warmer as its a snugger fit. I'm 5ft9, 67kg and the fit of the small is perfect.

A great jacket for a variety of conditions and temperatures. Easy to pack and extremely lightweight while also keeping you warm when temps drop. All around great jacket.

This is the most utilized gear in my outdoor hiking wardrobe.
It's used in the spring, fall and winter under my shell (usually my Gamma MX hoody).
Perfect fit, feels light and breaths incredibly well which is key when hiking.

First off, I love this jacket.
It is incredibly comfortable and I always find an excuse to have it on (such as wearing only a light shirt when cool outside).
I see it around town all the time and it seems to have become the standard jacket for light/medium insulation.
I'm 6'2, 165lbs and the Large fits perfect, not too tight, not too bulky.
Not that it matters too much in terms of purpose, but it also looks much better than the conventional insulated jackets, with no signs of baffle stitching or shiny fabric.
I've used it hiking and skiing and I'm very satisfied with the breathability while not compromising too much on insulation.
I would consider it a perfect Spring/Fall jacket for light to medium output or a Winter jacket for high output activities.
My only concern is that the outer fabric looks like it could rip pretty easily if not careful. I haven't had a problem with it so far though.

I wear this jacket more than any other jacket in the fall and winter. Very comfortable, light and looks nice too!
I overheat extremely quickly, and it seems more breathable than my other fall/winter insulated jackets. I am 5'8, 205lbs with a muscular build. The large size fits me well.
