I have debating whether or not to purchase these for the last 2 years, since they've regained popularity and are now fashionably acceptable again. I finally took the plunge and purchased it in all white (they sold out quickly last summer in this color combo). These are probably the most comfortable pair of sandals I've ever worn...but oh so ugly! I am usually a 7 1/2 or 8 and I purchased it in size 38 and they were perfect.

I bought these more for style than comfort. If I end up walking a few miles they do cause a blister at the bottom of my foot. Other than that I think they are cute and functional.

Decided to try Arizona after wearing the Madrid style for years. The caribou color is great - not too light or dark, and the nubuck is soft. Plus the light bottom is unique!

SO upset that these run bigger than all the others. It makes absolutely no sense. I got the same size I have in the black ones, and they are literally a whole size bigger. And now they're all sold out again. :(

These sandals are adorable and perfect for summer! Unfortunately, they are made quite large and I had to return. I normally wear a 6.5, so I ordered the 37. They were both too long and too wide for my feet so I'd definitely size down. They won't disappoint you in the looks department!

I got these for my teenager. She loved them but I was disappointed that they fell apart so quickly. The white fabric cracked where it bends from walking. They looked ratty rather quickly (within 2 months). Material is inferior to the usual Birkenstock leather. The cork cracked where the foot bends too.

I really tried to do my due diligence with getting these because I know they have to be broken in. I tried on a 6.5 reg fit at the store and they fit but the associate was terrible so I left. Ordered them on Zappos and when I tried them on today (unstrapped) they were so narrow it almost hurt to walk in. I had to check the picture on the sole to make sure I ordered the right thing!

I wanted to love these Birkenstocks but they just don't agree with my feet/legs. I had to order a size down and the narrow in order to get the right size. I only wore them a short time each day for several days as instructed to let my body adjust to them but they throw off my gait too much and started causing knee pain and aching legs almost immediately. Unfortunately, had to send them back.

I wanted to love them, because the white leather looks so good on my foot. Sadly, the footbed is uncomfortable, and the width was terrible. The footbed is so hard, there's no warming them up to get them to conform to my foot. I do have mildly wide feet but not wide enough for Wide with shoes. I know Birkos run narrow but these were pushing on the sides of my feet especially at the pinky toe side. My right foot is wider than my left, yet the left Birko was the one that hurt the most. The footbed feels ok, but my feet actually get suctioned onto them and each time I lift my foot to take a step I get the "fop" sound as the suction releases. It was so loud, my cat woke up and looked at me, scared! LOL - I am sending these back.

Had to return the pair that I just received. The left sandal has a higher arch than the right. I ordered another pair.

Way too big.

Read the reviews...these take some getting used to and honestly not sure I’m keeping them. Right foot toes hit edge, makes it uncomfortable left is fine. Cute sandals for summer, but not as comfy as I would have liked.

Felt wide and clunky and a bit stiff. Not comfortable. Cute look of they were more comfortable.

Came quickly and was securely packaged. Unfortunately, it was too big! I have re-ordered down a size.

Zappos sent me a pair that had already been worn. Tags torn off, buckles unbuckled, no stuffing so the sandals would retain their shape. So disappointed. No more Zappos for me. I’ll order direct from the manufacturer from now on.

Uncomfortable and ran at least a half size too small

Truly the most uncomfortable shoes ever, even after 2 week breaking in period (after which you cannot return!). Brand has tremendous cache but no comfort. Waste of time & money.

They are so cute but are so uncomfortable. If I had not purchased them for a vacation I would have sent them back. Hurt my achilles so bad.

They look beautiful but they are super uncomfortable when walking and they make embarrassing sound when I walk. I am super upset because I wanted to love them so much.

Honestly these were really comfortable - but I wore them skiing and they just did not have stiffness that I was looking for in a ski sandal. Tevas for me next time I hit the slopes!
