Because I wear custom orthotics I was unable to review the arch support of the shoe. I ordered two sizes because I wasn't sure which I'd need. Oddly, they were different material. One was very definitely a nubuck, or suede type and the other was more like leather. I do like the shoe and have worn Aravons before. They work will with my orthotics. I would buy this shoe again.

these run small. i kept the half size larger than normal and could have even used a full size larger. thwy are cute and sturdy.

Nice but rather narrow!

Cute shoe but didn't work for me. It would be great with jeans in cold weather. With my custom orthotic, the 9 wide was too small, and the 9 1/2 wide was way too long.

These shoes were nicely constructed and somewhat comfortable on my feet. I have a bunion and flat, wide feet. For me, they were too short and a little narrow. Otherwise great shoe.

I so wanted to like these shoes – 99% of the time anything from Aravon is great – but they just didn't make the cut. First of all, they felt very stiff around my instep (even with adjustable shoestrings). I noticed some of the reviewers said the same thing, but they softened up after breaking in. I don't want to chance that. And, I thought they looked too clunky. They did feel like they'd be very comfortable on the right person: soles are great and there's a nice, roomy toebox. Just didn't work for me.

According to the Aravon size chart, I should wear a size 7. I ordered both a size 7W and a 7.5W. i could not get my foot into the 7W but could get into the 7.5W. It was not quite wide enough for my right foot and I considered stretching that shoe. Since the toe box was also not quite wide enough and I thought that even if I stretched the width, my toes would eventually fall asleep.The shoe is well constructed, firm rather than very flexible, has a stable, definitely non-slip sole, with a slight rocker movement. It actually has moderate arch support but I personally like a little more. it was easy to slip on with socks, unlike some shoes that have a swede insole.The REVsmart is not especially feminine but it is not large and clunky looking like some. To my surprise, my husband said that they were cute! I would love to get a good fit in this shoe and might order an 8W. Of course Zappos is the BEST!

I have feet that are almost a half size difference in length and between a N and W in width so finding shoes that fit both is challenging. These shoes are so cute in a dorky sort of way. I wanted them for travel so I don't wear sneakers everywhere and the weather was going to be cold. These were perfect until I noticed a squeak when I walked. Wasn't the floor since it happened on carpet too. My experience has been, once a shoe squeaks, it'll always squeak. These'll have to go back. Very sad and disappointed.

These shoes are very comfortable, work well with my orthotics which is important. Still need a little "breaking in". Really great support and look good with trousers and jeans.Last but not least Zappos is the greatest! No hassle and always helpful. Thank you Zappos for being there for "hard to fit shoppers"!

The 8, my usual size, felt short and tight. I exchanged for an 8 1/2, and they now fit really well. I have only walked around the house in them so far, but I think they may quickly become my favorite shoes. They feel super supportive and comfortable! We'll see how they hold up after a bartending shift!

Fit is great,very comfortable, I walked around in my home for several hours and thought everything was OK with the shoes, so went shopping, the soles of these shoes squeak a lot, so disappointing,it was to late to send them back as I had already worn them outside. Otherwise, the shoes are great if you don't mind the squeak, pretty high price since they make so much noise.

This is a great stylish comfort shoe that is cute with jeans for a casual look. The insole is very comfortable and provides good support and cushioning. I wear a W width and found these shoes to be just barely wide enough with the laces loosened. The shoe seems to be waterproof but only okay traction. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who wants a super comfortable shoe for long days on your feet.

Seems like it will be a comfortable. Unfortunately it ran a bit small. I usually wear a 9N, and am returning for a 9.5N.

Let's face it and not the prettiest shoe, but I needed to be able to insert orthotics into a leather, winter-weather shoe. These are comfortable, true to size, with moderate arch support. I did get the bunion area stretched on one shoe at the shoe repair shop but that's an issue with my foot, not the shoe. A little clunky looking, but fine with jeans and pants.

I needed a half size bigger and wider in this shoe. This is not unusual when I change brands. Beautiful shoe and it would feel wonderful if it fit.

Unfortunately, these are wide width D, but after trying to wear them for 2 days, they caused my hip, which I have to have replaced this week, really hurt. I could hardly walk at the end of the day. The next wide width is EE which I'm afraid would be too large.

I ordered the D width but they were still too narrow in the forefoot. If you have even a small bunion these will dig in and pinch. Too bad because they are a nice shoes otherwise. Seem well made. Going back.

Shoe were much too stiff. These were suppose to be my new walking shoes to go to Spain and Portugal in October but unfortunately were so uncomfortable. Sorry that I need to return.

The problem with this shoe is the leather used for the uppers. These uppers were so stiff that they felt like a device for torture. I have been wearing the Rockport Pro Walker which suited me perfectly. They were made of soft leather; the toe box was the perfect height and width; The support was good too. Why are these shoes no longer available?

Very uncomfortable, have worn Aravon before and felt these did not live up to Aravon's reputation.

The size was good, I think accurate. I'm looking for something with a really stable base due to a foot injury. These didn't work, even in a wider size.

I really wanted to like this shoe. It is very nice looking and the support is great. The length and width seemed fine, but where the front part of the shoe slopes down it rubbed on the top bone of my big toe and caused blisters after only an hour. So they got returned.
