Comfortable, good support and shock absorption.

Was so happy to find a comfortable walking shoe in a narrow width. These have great support and are more attractive than the photos show (the toes don't seem to curl up as they do in photos.) I used to always rely on Clarks brand but they seemed to have no inventory for narrow widths anymore. These are a great replacement. Only wish they came in a dark brown.

These are the best shoes in the world..but they run about 1/4 to 1/2 size small. Fabulous quality...

Comfortable, a bit clunky, great arch support.

I just got these and they feel great. I sometimes wear wide and with the other reviews decided to order D width and I don't find them too narrow at all. It feels like a normal width so it is good that I went with it.

It took a while to break these in, but now they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. The rocking when I walk feels so wonderful, and my orthotics fit perfectly. They were stiff at the beginning, and I have tendon problem in my arch, so any shoe was uncomfortable. Not that the arch problem is healing, these shoes are the best. They are not pretty, but when you have bad feet, comfort is the most important. I just ordered in the other color for summer.

I had major reconstructive ankle surgery and was no weight bearing for three months. I have been confined to sneakers for the last four months and wanted to transition to shoes. I tried many shoes but could not tolerate any of them. These were the first shoes that I could actually walk in. They are perfect! They provide the comfort and ankle support of a sneaker. I can walk in them for hours. Thank you, Aravon! I have never tried your shoes before and am now a loyal customer!

These shoes are true to size. I bought the wide fitting so I could wear thicker socks, suffering from cold feet syndrome. However I could have stuck to my usual medium width because these shoes are truly waterproof and keep my feet warm without extra thick socks. I like the removable insole because I use an orthotic. A very well made, comfortable shoe. I would purchase these shoes again if I had too.

These are a really nice comfortable shoe. It does have a bit of a shallow toe box, so if you have fleshy feet they probably won't work. Got up a size, they run short. But the rocker toe makes these very easy to walk in. Takes about 2 weeks to get them good and broken in, so be patient.

I'm normally an 8 and had to get an 8.5. i have a narrow, small foot and the shoes have ample room but hold my foot in at the right places. Not an easy task. They would be good to work in or something but i just like the way they look, clunky and all. The curved up toe is good for stretching the toes away from foot.

Finally found a pair of shoes for my 90 year old mother. She is very active and walks alot. This shoe gives her balance. Her feet are not rolling. She doesn't wobble. The shoes also agrees with her bunions. She is even standing up straighter. These shoes are worth the extra price. I wish they came in brown. They are very comfortable and provide great cushioning and support. Thank you Zappos!

These are really supportive and comfortable. I ordered the 8N but usually wear slims and the narrow allows me to use my arch supports - perfect. The rocker sole makes walking easy and is great for my aerobics class too. They are well made.

Finally! Some shoes that I can forget I'm wearing for a while. They FIT me. I bought both colors. Not cheap but worth it. I have a normal to narrow heel but I need a wide roomy toe box because of bunions and other ortho problems. I need a fair bit of support. These provide all of that. They are cushioning and there really is something about my gait that's improved by them. The leather is soft and supple. The only minor problem is that one seam on the cuff irritates the inside of my ankles so I have to wear a band-aid there. A price I'm willing to pay for the overall comfort, and I'm hoping that will soften in time. They are not pretty, but not the worst I've seen either. I will try other Aravons. I wish they made a plain pump on this footbed--the closest seems to be the Mary Jane, which might be my best bet, but I am tired of that style.

Wore these fine shoes for the first time today and they were awesome. Wonderful, true fit for my wide feet. They do not look very feminine, but are perfect for mid-west winters. They were so comfortable that I didn't even change into my walking shoes at lunch time like I normally do. I know everyone has said it, but I want to say it too...I love Zappos!

I really like the style of this shoe. I was looking for a comfortable shoe to wear every day, and I think this is it. I had to exchange the first pair I ordered for a half-size bigger. The new ones just arrived today, and I'm testing them out. Seem comfy and yet have plenty of support. Will probably keep these.

These shoes are very nice, looks like a good walking shoe. Just a little small for me. I need the next size. I have worn Aravon shoes before and like them, one reason they come in narrow.

These are exactly what I wanted for travel! They have great support and cushioning, and the style is simple and neat. I wanted so badly for them to work for me, but I am a difficult customer, with EE feet and edema in my ankles and lower legs, and the left shoe hurts my toes. :-(

The fit was a little stiff

These shoes felt great, they just looked differently than I thought they would. Seemed like really good shoes though.
