I fell in love with these shoes! I got them as a birthday present and was more then excited. I was actually disappointed when I put them on. The size of the shoe was fine, but they were way too big around my ankles. If you have small ankles, good luck. They would be way better if the strap had velcro instead of buttons. Sadly, I'm returning mine.

I am a true 9½ but bought these in a 10 and they fit perfectly. I have the denim color which is a fantastic blue. The only thing I wish is that they were just slightly less high. The description is wrong. I got out my tape measure and the heel is just slightly more than 3¾" and the platform is barely ¼". So the effective height is a solid 3½" which is more than I hoped for. They are made from soft leather and are very comfortable, though.

Really liked the look, though I'm a size 8 most of the time, I wasn't able to buckle both buttons in ankle. I may need a size 8 1/2. The sole feels quite slippery, it may need to get worn a bit, so be careful.

These are very cute but the back strap rubbed my heel raw and I only wore them around the house for a little bit. I can't handle uncomfortable shoes so they must go back. :(

I love this shoe, it is very comfortable. I usually wear a 7.5 but had to send it back for an 8. My only beef with this beautiful shoe is its a little hard to fasten the push studs around your ankle. Once it's on though its fabulous.

These are lovely shoes. They seem comfortable but the snap closure is tight and the ankle strap needs to stretch - hopefully after first wear.

Very cute and very comfy! Great transitional shoe from winter to spring. Look especially cute with the loose baggy pants that are making a come back. Had to exchange for a 1/2 size bigger.

Darling. However, the shoe top hit into the front of my ankle/shin crease as I walked. And I thought the back would be Velcro (yes, I didn't read) and it is two snaps so you cannot adjust the ankle. My ankle is a bit smaller than average, so it didn't work for me in the front or back.

Not for small ankles! I tried the 6.5 at a shop and they were to large around my ankles. The 6 felt better around my ankles but were too short. They felt comfortable though!

Actually really liked the shoe. However in order to close the back strap you needed to snap together both sides & honestly it took too much time to try to bend down & find the matching snaps on each side. I like shoes I can just slip on quickly & go. And with bad knees, trying to bend to accommodate this just wasn't worth the hassle for me. Pretty shoe & very soft leather though. Had to return...

I bought these last year but the gold knob ball came lose and broke off shortly after wearing them the 2nd time. I wear a size 6 and loved them but once you lose the gold ball they are useless! Sad!

The shoes are very stylish, but they tend to feel a little uncomfortable after standing in them for hours. Very cute and true to size.

It was tight in the ankle and my ankles are normal size. It would’ve worked if it weren’t so tight through that area.

I didn't find these shoes all that comfortable. I walked about 20 feet in them and knew there was no way I could stand in these for any amount of time. The ankle strap was also just a touch to tight. With wear this might have relaxed but if I can't wear a shoe out of the box, its not for me. Love the color and style though.

Loved these, but they were just too roomy for my feet. My feet were slipping all around in them. I do have thin feet, so these might work for someone with thicker feet. I was very sad to have to send these back.

Great soft leather but unfortunately, I had to return it because the leather around the peep toe area hurt the skin around my toes. Great soft leather and color though.

I ordered two Steve Madden pairs of shoes to try and couldn't wear either one of them! These are cute and would be fine if your foot and ankle perfectly fit in the back of them, but they are secured via snap so there is no option for changing how the back fits around your ankle. My foot would have slid around. These immediately weren't an option for me.

I love the design of this shoe, but it didn't work for me. It ran big on my narrow foot in such a way that I didn't think sizing down would be the solution.

I also purchased the Clarks Shira Brenna (similar shoe in color, heel structure and height). I know some other reviewers don't care for this, but I like the closure snaps on the back of the shoe and feel it offers a secure fit. This heel seems higher to me than 3 inches and seems like it would be uncomfortable to walk in long distances. It doesn't seem to offer a comfort level. Wearing these shoes for an entire day probably wouldn't fare well for me...

Love this style. However, the snaps are difficult and fairly tight on the ankle. Hopefully they will loosen up with wear.

Really loose on the ankle. Couldn’t find the right size.

They are a great color but the wrap around the ankle is very loose and causes the leather to bunch in an unflattering way

Cute looking shoes but unfortunately they are very uncomfortable. The clasp on the back did not 'grip' my ankle and the shoe feels like it fits a wide foot better. As a result, my feet kept slipping forward and led to toe overhang from the front. Walking was uncomfortable because the pressure on my toes led to blisters. These look cute but the design is terrible.
