First pair of VFF's and so far I absolutely love them. Of course there is a training/break-in period but it is more for your feet than the shoe itself. Great materials and well made. Would recommend to anyone who likes a barefoot feel!

After two strikes, I hit a home run with my 3rd pair in attempting to get the perfect size. Kudos to Zappos for the free and super easy return process. The Vibrams are unique but super fun!

These shoes are fantastic once you can work into your correct size. In my experience the stated sizes are one size too small. Thus a 43 fits like a 42 and a 44 fits like a 43. I'm normally a size 43 but I had to return a few pairs of these - great customer service in the process by the way - until I settled on a size 44. Also the sizing chart on the Zappos site is one size off (Zappos sizing chart recommends an full number too small, i.e. 42 when the Vibram-stated size is 43) from the Vibram site. However, with the quality of customer service that I received and the quality of the shoe once I finally sized correctly, I highly recommend this model.

Delivery was faster than expected and the shoes are very good (like all fivefingers, I bought 4 pairs already). Space in between fingers is a little shorter than the old KSO and the size is one size larger then them since they made a change of sizing at some point which resulted on having to jump a size up. Laces are great and the sole is very comfortable, slightly thinner than the KSO but a bit more rigid.

some of the minimalist Merrel shoes are pretty good.

I have been wearing these indoor to my boot camp classes and I love them! I need to buy another pair for a back up! They took a session to get use to and now they are nice and broken in. They are easy to clean, too!

These are more thin soled than the last vibrams I had, however, since my feet are pretty tough from trail running in my old vibrams, these are fine. LOVE LOVE LOVE trail running in these. Having sensory feedback from my feet to my brain transforms running into an amazing full body experience. Hated running before I started using vibrams. Also interesting to note is that before using vibrams I had FLAT feet, now the muscles in my feet have developed and I have arches for the first time ever (I'm 33) HOWEVER, I would not suggest using these to run on concrete. Much better for trails.

These are a perfect improvement over the original thin soled VFFs. I liked those the best for walking because they provide the most foot feel - these are even better. The new profile sole sticks even on wet surfaces, as promised. And I can feel what I am standing on too. They fit like socks and its a good thing. A lot of the VFF models now have thick soles and even insoles - more protection but it also removes the reason I wear them in the first place. Not these, these are in the original spirit. Feels like having a 6th sense. Tested in a river bed recently and I fully approve of these. The blue is a bit harsh.

These are my first vibrams ever. It is very important that you choose the right size based on the Vibram size chart. It is also important to note that they will definitely feel weird and a bit tight on the first wears, specially if they are the first Vibrams you've worn ever. However, the more you wear them, the more comfortable they feel, to the point of being able to wear them for long periods of time without feeling like you're wearing footwear. I am glad I bought these.

I love these things. I got them as tightly fitting as I could, and it is a bit of effort to get them on. But for someone who enjoys swimming in very rocky areas with lots of boulders to traverse they are fantastic. They fit like a second skin and give me great grip on rocky surfaces.

These are great shoes if your looking for minimum sole thickness. The toe division feels nice with flexibility to splay out. I have the black with blue sole and I like the touch the blue gives the shoe. Go for them and make your feet happy!

I've owned several pairs of fivefingers now and these are the slickest pair yet. Great sneaker-like style. You could use them as an exercise shoe, but I think they look good as just an every day kind of shoe, too. The laces are a nice step up from the old velcro strap. You can get a much more snug fit across the top of the foot. The only thing I noticed was the sizing. I wear a size 41 black original KSO, but the size 41 KSO EVO was a bit small. Size 42 is just a bit big, but I wear socks with these so it helps with the fit. Overall, these things are like wearing stylish ninja shoes. They make your feet look and feel great. My favorite pair yet!

I had a pair of "traditional" KSOs, and they were great. My only issue with them was that the Velcro would get filled with dog hair and need to be cleaned. I like that the "EVO" model replaces the Velcro with a cinch strap instead, which is a welcomed upgrade.

I have had my Five Fingers for about 50 miles of dog walking on pavement at this point. I like these shoes, they are really comfortable. They really do fit like a glove. If you suffer from Morton's Neuroma like I do these might be for you as they keep your toes separated. I wear a size 13-4E, and have a high arch and was apprehensive about the width as they are listed as M. No problem, they are so flexible they just wrap around my feet. I find that they are a challenge to put on sometimes, it's a bit tricky and requires practice. I also found that they fit well with five finger toe socks; I use the Injinji lightweight toe socks. Honestly, I don't see how some people do trail running with these, I find myself walking around something as simple as a gravel spill on pavement, there is almost no protection. They are like walking bare foot, only better!

These are true to size in length but are more snug in width than the size 41 V-trek i also ordered. I am female with very wide feet so i need to order men’s shoes. The V-trek is comfortable in width but i think the KSO may be too snug for me.

I was pretty skeptical at first. Let's face it, these shoes definitely out of the ordinary. However, to my surprise, they were pretty great. Not the best shoe I've had but I would definitely consider buying another pair once these are exhausted. I typically wear a 9/9.5 and when I did the conversation to EU they were true to size. I do an array of exercises (running, weight lifting, crossfit, etc) at somewhat intense levels so I'd say I've put them through some pretty good testing. This is how I would rate them: Cons: Hard surface running isn't fun (no cushion), feet get wet almost instantly with puddles, and toes fight over where to go when putting on and can be very irritating if you have scrapes on your toes. Pros: Very lightweight, surprisingly good grip, feet don't wiggle or slide around once sized/tightened properly, small rocks/acorns just feel like bumps and aren't painful, great for weight lifting and woods/field running. All-in-all these were great. Takes some getting used to but definitely worth a try!

I started buying Vibrams a little over a year ago on a hunch. Many years ago, I injured my right ankle while playing basketball. I would later discover that I had in fact "split" the tendon in half lengthwise. Ever since then every step I would take while wearing shoes would cause pain in my ankle. I noticed on day that when walking around my house or yard barefoot, that my ankle didn't hurt. It only hurt when wearing shoes. On a whim I started purchasing Vibrams just to try them and and was thrilled to discover that while wearing them I could walk around pain-free. My primary complaint is with their durability. I buy KSO EVOs and am not a runner, I just walk and stand in them; yet I find myself having to order a new pair every 3-4 months because they start coming apart. I guess the price for pain-free walking is worth it, though.

Bought these for my husband for Christmas. He is a fan of Vibrams and he said they are comfortable but not as comfortable as his other pairs.

As my first pair of FiveFingers, I have to say I am enjoying them, overall. I have spent about a month working into them, starting from an hour a day to (just this week) the full day. My previous pair of shoes was the Merrell's Bare Access 2, so I'm reasonably familiar with the minimalist style. I am not a runner, but I walk around town a lot, and I stand all day at my standing desk. Minimalist shoes have been the key to allowing me to manage that without knee, leg, and foot pain. I'm a bit concerned about the workmanship and durability of these shoes, however. There were a number of loose threads inside the shoes when I got them. Also, after just one leg day (weight-lifting), they are noticeably more stretched out. Time will tell.

I had been wearing a pair of KSO (non-EVO), but when it was time to get new shoes I went with the new EVO line after speaking with Vibram's customer service. I thought the new laces design would be a nuisance as I was used to the velcro design, but after a few weeks of use I was proven wrong. Overall, this is an improvement in walking experience over my previous pair. That said, if you over-tighten the shoes the sides are very soft and will roll or warp into an uncomfortably on the insides of your feet. Also, this version lacks the pull tag at the back (that makes getting the shoes on easier) and I miss that. Those small problems to the side, I very much enjoy wearing these as my everyday athletic shoes.

Most comfortable VFFs yet, although I wish the vibram under the arch were wider. My feet are 9 3/8" long and about 3 1/2" wide, so the 39 fit quite well. Plus, since these are Men's, the laces are long enough. These VFFs are very flexible (unlike most of their others) and as close to barefoot as can be. Really great for when it's just a bit too cold to go shoeless.

The raised big label and lettering in the sole is non absorbent and a dumb idea, sort of like a sweaty blob under the foot. My old Vibrams, which I love, have a comfortable absorbent insole, way better.
