The fit is very good, just remember when ordering that the correct size will normally be one larger than a normal shoe size. Also when putting on the shoes, prepare to take a few minutes to ensure that each toe goes into the right pocket. If you don't the shoes would be very uncomfortable. There is enough room for your feet to breathe, and the fabric to stretch during normal use, but you will be cold if you use them outdoors in cold weather. I am very happy with it so far after 2 days of an hour long workout each day.

I've worn Vibram FiveFingers and Merrell Barefoot Shoes for a number of years. They both took some getting used to, but now there is no "going back!"

First time trying to put these on probably took me five minutes. Once on, they felt amazing and I really wanted to keep them. After wearing them around the house for ten minutes I realized there was a seam across the top of my smallest toe in the RH shoe that was really starting to dig in. After half an hour it was hurting enough to be a deal breaker. I had ordered two sizes and saw that both pairs had the same twist in the RH smallest toe that caused the rubber-to-fabric seam to wind up on top of the toe instead of off to the side like it was meant to be. Decided to return and not reorder, since I believed the chance of getting another bunk pair seemed pretty likely.

Supremely comfortable barefoot shoe with proper width, incorporating true natural shape of the forefoot and toes and none of the narrow width lunacy that's so en vogue these days. Have used it for hiking a few times and love it so far.

Unsure as to whether shoe reached the outstanding mark as far as comfort goes. Unfortunately, I had to return the shoe because the 48 was a bit too large for me, and the is out of stock. It is a very convenient shoe to have on a vacation, as it serves as an all purpose water and hiking shoe.

They are supposed to fit like gloves, so you want them snug. I love my Vibrams. Recognize that if you want to start running in them, you have to take it really slow and build up the stabilizer muscles in your legs; as they are not used in regular shoes. Once you are running for a bit in them, you’ll notice that you do not feel the shock of pounding on pavement, as your stabilizer muscles take the stress off joints. Also, good advice is to use them on concrete. This sounds counterintuitive, but wearing on grass or other soft surface, you might step on something sharp that you could not see. One drawback is that they are odd looking, and draw stares. I have another pair of barefoot-type shoes (no heel drop) that look more like regular tennis shoes, which I wear for more everyday use. Vibrams are the way to go for running, though.

I had to go down one size so my toes fit correctly while my heel is snug. Materials and build seem great and I’m really enjoying them. I am strictly following the instructions to avoid injury as I start using these minimal shoes. So far I love’em.

I was a bit skeptical of how comfortable these would be. But after a few days, I really got used to them and they feel like gloves for your feet. I really enjoy wearing them, around. I am still in the get your body used to them phase, but so far so good. I have not run in them yet, so I cannot comment on them for exercise, but as everyday shoes, they are awesome, they work really well for Kayaking too.

Our family is committed to wearing minimalist/zero drop shoe. I purchased these 5 finger shoes for 3 of my boys (ages 16, 14, 12) who would rather be barefoot but sometimes need to wear shoes. We have had at 20 pairs of 5 finger shoes over the years, so we are not new to the style/fit. The boys liked that the sole on this style is flat and more flexible than some of the other styles they have had in the past as it feels closer to barefoot. The gray/black is "fancy" enough to wear to church and my oldest wore it with his suit to a formal school dance. This style is a winner!

Started running barefoot twice a week and discovered I am a natural barefoot runner. This is my first five finger and fits almost perfect and gives you the barefoot running experience. I recommend this product if you are a.natural barefoot runner.

This is my first venture into the minimalist shoe world. I was intrigued with this style due to my feet being profoundly flat, collapsed really. For flat feet, these types of shoes allow the foot and toes to be in their natural more spread position and not be compressed into a tight fixed arch positioning. All that made sense to me and I thought I'd give them a try. Reading that sizing is all important (should fit like a glove is what they say), I first went to the Vibram web site and used their sizing chart. It suggested a size 44. Receiving those it quickly became apparent that 44 was way to small. Zappos exchanged the 44's for 45's. They too were too small. Zappos exchanged those for 46's. These fit like a glove. Now, I can attest to their supreme comfort for my old flat feet. This will be my regular 'go to' shoe. And, thanks Zappos for the premier service; absolutely outstanding in every way.

I have had approximately 12 pairs of Vibrams, hands down my top 3 favorites are these, the Smartwool Classics, and the EL-X. I am also a fan of the old leather lace up Treks. The KSO EVO is a great minimalist shoe. Excellent ground feel, a little more "style" than most other Vibrams, and durable. My last pair lasted about two years of at least three day's a week wear. And they don't seem to get the stink that many of my older Vibrams seemed to suffer from, even with regular washing!

I like them a lot. The sole is thin and very flexible. They seemed flimsy when I got them but I have not had any complaints about them. I have had them and worn them for almost two months and they are awesome.

Love these! I bought these shoes primarily for gym workouts. They could not be better. Just enough around my feet that I feel supported, but not so much that I lose the sensation of the floor beneath me. Was tempted to buy 45, which I usually wear, but went with the recommendation for size 11 and glad that I did. We'll see how they stand up over time, but for now, I couldn't be happier.

They are great. Feel strange at first. Mainly the toes. But very happy with them other than that. Still getting use to them while working out.

Has helped my knee, low back, and neck pain. I can run for the first time in years. Make sure you start slow or your calves and feet will be very sore because you won't be used to using those muscles. The shoes that most people are used to wearing contain lots of padding and support that reduce the impact on your muscles by transferring it to your joints. These shoes actually engage your muscles so your joints don't have to take the beating. Highly recommend them! I normally wear a size 10.5, but these fit perfect.

After reading the reviews I decided to purchase the Vibram FiveFingers shoes. The shoes fit good and breathe well. I would recommend not going up or down a size. I am a size 9.5 with wide feet. I was apprehensive at first that theses shoes would be too tight, so l grabbed the next size up. If you are interested in these shoes get your true size to have a better more snug fit, since you would not be wearing sox with these. I use these for walking around my home that has mostly tile and hardwood for cushion, doing yard work and an occasional run. If you do end up using these to run you definitely will feel more of the ground and rocks, which doesn't seem to bother me.

After walking Augusta National during the Masters this year, my feet were wreaked. I decided to do something about it. I knew that they needed to be strengthened. I purchased these two weeks ago, not for running, but for walking and while at work where I stand and sit a lot. I started out gradually, wearing them for a few hours at a time. I am now wearing them also at the gym, using the elliptical, etc. I can honestly say that my feet and legs feel stronger. I'm thinking of purchasing a second pair, maybe of a different style.

The only thing about this model that comes close to a Con--amidst a sea of Pro's--is that, like its predecessors and like many other Vibram Fivefinger models, it's not very versatile. It's not warm; you need to take much more care on anything that qualifies as slightly rough terrain and beyond; and it'll get your feet wet much quicker than the thicker, more robust models. All that really means, though, is that this is the perfect summer FiveFingers pair. This model is amazingly comfortable for my 41 foot, fitting very snugly--but not tightly, because the fabric on the upper is so flexible. The ground feel is perfect while still being very grippy. And there's something cushier about the fabric of this newer KSO than its predecessor--I can't quite describe it--that just makes it feel softer (and better) against the skin. And finally, for my own personal tastes, the quick-pull lacing system looks more graceful and slick than the old-school velcro strap. The design and available colorways (I happen to have the sized 41 all-blue version which was intended for "kids", but these adult colorways are great too) are far and away more sleek than the original KSO's and don't make me feel like a hobbit. In sum: Five stars, not because it's perfectly versatile (it's not), but because it's my favorite summer pair.
