I purchased these shoes for my 87 year old Mom, who resides in a nursing home. I took a chance on the wider width for her, as she wears thick support stockings. The width & size were perfect.....8W. The zipper on the shoes gives more flexibility in putting the shoes on, so this is also a plus. While my Mom loved the shoes overall, she said that the leather was a little stiff. So when I asked her about the number of stars, she replied "4". From my perspective, thank you, ZAPPOS CUSTOMER SERVICE, for making it so easy to order shoes for my Mom, and for me. My Mom can try on the shoes, and you have a hassle-free refund / return service. Keep up the outstanding work!

Super comfortable. The look good with jeans or dress pants. I really liked them, but am disappointed how quickly they got ruined. I have a job where I sit at a desk most of the day, so I was surprised when these started to peel and the tread was super worn down after less than a year of owning them and wearing them a couple times a week.

These shoes are a great fit and very comfortable. I would recommend them.

Really loved this shoe, so I wore it for a couple of hours around the house on the carpet, and I developed a blister on the back of my heel. Sad - because I would have loved it for Europe!

Felt like a good shoe, but I ordered it in coffee bean and the color was lighter than I had expected. Totally not my style. Otherwise, it seemed sturdy and comfortable. Possibly a bit snug...I might have tried a slightly larger size had I liked the color.

Very comfortable! I think it runs a little narrow for those of us with wide feet (and I ordered a WW), but they are as comfortable as sneakers.

I don't always need Wide but got it this time but it is still too narrow. The nice looking leather seems like it could probably be stretched but I didn't want to take that chance. Good looking shoe for Fall and Winter and I'm sorry it didn't fit.

Just walked 6 miles in NYC without "new-shoe" blisters or any discomfort whatsoever. Very good comfortable walking shoe. I recommend it highly.

Naturalizer's Clarissa comfort shoe is the most comfortable shoe I've put on my feet in many years. Looking forward to wearing them on an upcoming bus day trip, with lots of walking and getting on and off the bus. The left shoe is slightly tight at the instep for my perhaps slightly wider left foot, but I think that the shoe stretcher and wearing these leather shoes for a while will do the trick. Why can't Naturalizer make supportive 2" heel or so navy leather dress sandals? Princess Kate of England seems to prefer the color navy, which is my basic color, and we need shoes to match our clothes. I've been looking for such shoes for over 2 years.

I wear 7.5W, and these are right-out-of-the-box comfortable. However, I also have narrow ankles, which makes shoe-buying a challenge, and my feet keep slipping out. So unfortunately, these are going back.

I love the look of these handsome shoes and hoped they would work out - it's difficult to find comfortable shoes in navy color. I normally wear an 8M and bought an 8M, but they fit more like a narrow. I am used to wearing wider medium width shoes, such as Keen's, and I wear socks. Even when I wore thin socks with the Naturalizers, they were too tight on the sides and triggered my plantar fasciitis, so I need to send them back. I like the shoe enough to try for a wider size and hope that will work out.

I have had difficulty finding walking shoes that fit. I have quite a few that I thought would work that hurt after a mile or two . I chose a wide width as I need a wide toe bed for a hammer toe but often the heel comes wider too. These shoes fit at the heel.They are comfortable and lightweight enough for travel and did not have to be broken in. They are rather plain but can be worn with pant suits and more casual pants alike. I would not wear them with a skirt but some might do so.
