We do a lot of camping so I'm looking for a shoe that is comfortable, durable and easy to walk in. These sandles seem to be fairly comfortable and hopefully durable but the little bit I've worn them they aren't really easy to walk in because of the loose fit.

I would have worn these very frequently during summer months, but the ankle strap is too short for my ankles. I usually wear a size 8.5 with a wide width. These are great for young people with small ankles. I loved the color and the design.

Style is cute but the shoe feels so flimsy! Not comfortable at all. Runs true to size.

The sandals are cute and look good on but as soon as they god wet I was slipping aroudn the front of the sandal and felt liek I was going to twist my ankle, especially on small rocks. There is no way to tighten up the forefoot so there isn't away to fix this. Also I have a c width foot, so if you have a narrower foot you might be in for real issues. I woudl go with the version that has the ajustable toe strap. I returned these.

I bought the Originals in two sizes as I'm a half size. Sizing down was the one that fit the best. I chose the Terra Cotta and really loved the color- fun, but still neutral enough to go with lots of items in my closet. My biggest gripe about these shoes is the ankle strap... it wasn't adjustable enough. Well, I could get it tight enough, but then have about an inch of extra strap sticking out unsecured to the velcro, which is fairly annoying and I worry that the shoe won't be as secure on my foot.

More like flip flops - no support, runs a little large. Quality not up to the usual Teva standard. Loved the color and style.

Great sandals! I have boxy toes that look really funny in the regular-style Tevas, so these thong-style work great for me. The orange color is vibrant but not too vibrant. I wore them for summer adventures in and out of the water and they did great. Dried quickly and were comfortable even when wet. Unlike my Keens. Also unlike my Keens, they don't stink after wearing them. My only disappointment is the way the velcro tears at the nylon fabric on the heel. There is an extra patch of velcro that I can't figure out what it does other than fray my shoe. I normally wear a size 6 and ordered both 5 and 6 in this sandal - the 5 fit better.

Just got these today and I'm sadly returning. They have the look I like, but the ankle strap is too tight (and I do not have particularly thick ankles). They pull at the ankle, and due to the velcro under the side-straps you can't adjust them enough to be comfortable. I'm going to have to wait for the Teva Universal to be re-ordered in my size!

I ordered these just in time for a long river trip. I am a solid women's size 9.5. I ordered the 10 and they were floppy floppy floppy. The footbed was too long and wide and the straps loose. The soles are not very rigid and combined w/ being too big - I did not feel the most confident in my footwear hiking from the river. Though they are stinking cute.

These are attractive and fit size-wise (length) but the front straps were too loose, so even securing the back/ankle part did not help them feel insecure. I have average feet and have never had a problem with other flip flops in my size before.

These things really are totally missized. They run huge! I wear a 5½. I bought the 5. This is at least a 6, but not quite a 6½. Nice simple style. That is too bad.

The strap that goes around the ankle is not long enough to fit the velcro. I had same tevas back in the eighties and loved them was sad hearted when I couldn't find them anymore. Happy they are
back. Always wore teva sandals.

The were great in length and width. Color was exactly as pictured. The downside was, the strap that goes around the ankle was too small and stiff. The most uncomfortable sandal I've ever tried. Which is surprising because of the material. I bought these for my trip tp Chile and was really disappointed in them. Alas, I will be weaing sneakers until I find something in SA:(

Even though these are labeled "original" they were made of thinner material both in the sole and the webbing. They felt cheap and I knew they wouldn't last 40 years like my last pair of originals, so I sent them back.

I was expecting from the name "original" that the quality would be on par with the actual originals I have been wearing for the last 30 plus years. It is not. The bottom is thin and the straps are lighter weight. I returned them for quality issues.

I love flip flops & thought these might be great for an upcoming trip since they have the ankle strap to keep them on your feet a little better. I got a 6 when I normally wear a 6.5 in sandal (7 in tennis shoe/boot). I had no problem with the ankle strap. They seemed to be my size as far as the sole but the front straps felt too tight. Never had a pair of flip flops feel so tight like that. They went right back in the box for return :( Maybe a 7 would have felt better, but then I think it may have been too roomy length-wise. I have some Verras in a 6.5 I am going to keep and hopefully they will work out, they feel comfy but I haven't walked any long distances in them yet........

Bought the shoes specifically for a trip knowing I would be in sand, on a boat, and walking extensively. I wore them at home to break them in and suspected they might be rubbing the space between my great toe and second toe. Fortunately packed another pair of sandals, because walking just a short distance caused chafing and blister. Left shoe fits very different than right. Tried to adjust straps but couldn't get a good feel. I have never had this issue with sandals between my toes before. Disappointing because I love the look and wanted the cushioned sole.

I have been a Teva fan for years, after inheriting a pair of original sandals from my daughter after she tired of them 15 years ago. They have finally worn out, and have a hole in the sole from years of use. I was anxious to have a new pair to replace the familiar old ones, and these sandals were not it. The old pair had a Velcro adjustment across the toe area, these do not. These do not have neoprene pads on the straps to prevent chafing. Finally, the footbed is stiff, without much 'give', and the texture is somewhat uncomfortable. I give this shoe low marks because the write-up indicates it is a replacement for the old style Teva, which clearly it is not. Lastly, the white shoes arrived soiled! They clearly had been worn by someone with dirty feet. This is a first from the many shoes I've purchased from Zappos.

The item only comes in whole sizes so since my toes aren't long I bought a half size smaller. They are still too long and it seems like the strap that runs across your lower foot runs narrow. The material also seems extremely rough like it would rub when you wear them. I've had Tevas in the past and they never seemed this rough.

These shoes make my feet look so dainty & pretty! But sadly, the bumps on the sole shred the bottoms of my feet. Also, the slight heel rise puts just that bit of extra pressure on the balls of my feet which makes them hurt so bad. If these shoes had smooth soles, greater arch support, or at least a flat base, like the TEVA original mush flip flops, they'd be the sandals I'd live in!

The only reason I gave this sandal, which is super cute and very comfortable, a bad rating is because I noticed a little too late that it had a defect. I bought them, thought they were adorable, and then immediately wore them on a trip, which required I fly. I noticed something felt a little off but I couldn't tell what. It wasn't until I had to run to a connecting flight--and I almost fell flat on my face from the sandal folding underneath my foot--that I realized what was wrong. My right sandal was much larger and looser than my left. And not just in the "one of my feet is bigger" kind of way--there was way too much slack, which can be seen if you hold the sandals side by side. The left sandal fits perfectly, the right sandal slaps loudly as a walk and shifts side to side. I wish I would've noticed sooner so I could have sent them back. They're really cute, and if they fit better on BOTH feet they would be perfect.

these sandals are not close to "orginal" they would not last walking in rocky streams or in rocky coastline
