I like the fact that the won't fall off in the water however, the sole straps were set back too far on the sole causing my heal to be placed on the back edge of the sole. The front of the sole is exposed quite a bit, which gives the appearance of a sandal that is too big for my foot.

This is not how I remember the original. I had a pair that last many years. The soles were much thicker and the tread much deeper. I need sandals for walking in rocky streams and ocean edges. These will not do it.

The sandals seem very well made. I usually wear a woman's 8-1/2 to 9, so I ordered size 9. Unfortunately they were a full inch longer than my foot. And the ankle strap barely fit. I had to return them.

I wanted this sandal for the beach. Thought that the ankle strap would keep the sandal secure on my foot. Wearing them around the house now as they are a bit uncomfortable between my toes.

I really liked these shoes a lot and have both pros and cons about them. First, from the picture online they looked more of a shade of green, but when I saw them in person they are actually a baby blue sole. This wasn't what I expected them to look life at all. Also they are too wide for my small feet and might actually need to go down a size. Great shoes for going camping of any sorts, but when I went in the water they stretched out a decent amount and the sides where the material connects to the bottom began to wear after only one day of wearing them. Don't get me wrong I really like these shoes, but I would like to try them on in person rather than ordering them online. Debating if I want to get a solid color pair, but not sure yet. Definitely recommend, but would suggest to try them on first before buying for sizing.

I bought 2 pairs of Teva sandals many years ago. The soles were shaped, the soles thicker than flip flops and they have been durable as well as comfortable. They are my favorite sandals, worn daily half of the year. But after many years and an encounter with gum, I decided to buy a new pair. "Original Universal" has the look but not the construction of my older sandals. This new sole is flat, no shaping, no arch support and is half as thick. I will wear this pair of sandals, but with half the comfort and less "spark of joy." What I have are an expensive pair of flip flops with strapping instead of a toe post. Finally, to name this sandal the "Original" seems misleading. The sole is completely different. The straps and color are as my older pair, but the sole construction was the winning combination that made me love this shoe. So darn sturdy -- serious comfort when doing serious walking.

Generally a good shoe for the river/lake/beach or walking around in. Good quality polyester uppers. Rubber bottoms are ok (I've had mine about 2 mos and they have a gauge in them from getting caught on something I don't remember). Textured footbed is great, helps keep you from slipping when walking in water. Was a little scratchy for a day or two but comfy after that. Shoe feels too big in the strap across the foot closest to the toes- there is so much room the shoe drags/scrapes the sidewalk often enough to be annoying when lifting your foot to walk. Conversely the ankle strap is either way too short or the straps connecting the ankle strap to the sole are too short...if the strap was actually around the ankle the size would be fine, but because it is below the ankle bone, that's a pretty wide place, and I have average-size ankles. Because the straps are too short (there is about a 1/2 inch - 1 inch of exposed velcro), when you sit with your ankles crossed and then uncross them, the exposed sticky velcro has attached itself to the decorative polyester upper ankle strap on the front of the other shoe, pilling and fuzzing a material that should otherwise be durable. It gets caught on other clothing articles and furniture as well. I bought the mosaic vintage indigo and like the color. Maybe teva should consider some beta testing and have some people wear the shoe before manufacturing a zillion of them with such an inherent flaw? I have mixed feelings on this shoe- comfortable but the cost implies better execution.

I work as a sales rep for Synergy Organic Clothing doing festivals all over the states, I love to where them when I work and get complainants daily. I'm sad though after only a week of wear they started to fray and the rubber started splitting from the sole.

I really liked the sandals but I got blisters on right foot and the left sandal made my foot slide downward.

I love the look of these, although the strap for the ankle is much too small. I bought a size 11 and it seems the ankle strap was for a size 6. I ended up buying gray/silver velcro and created my own extender. These are also great if you wear Good Feet 3/4 orthotics like I do. I can put them in and they stay put!

Really like the look of these sandals, the heel can be adjusted for hugeness, but the t strap in front can't be adjusted and it runs wide.

The bigggest issue is the webbing? on the soles of the sandals. It's rough and irritates my feet all the time. The straps are also rough but I assume they would wear and get softer with time. I've just been wearing these indoors so I can return them if I want and I do want to. Sorry. My feet just don't like being irritated.

I love the colour and pattern. I was hoping for a more secure fit for outdoor activities, but the webbing stretches when wet, and the shoes become floppy. The ankle strap pulls my heel back over the bed of the shoe, leaving the front of the shoe empty and easy to catch on things.

The only thing I am not liking is that the sole is so stiff. I was thinking by now they would be form fit to my feet but they aren't. Too much room between the straps and the sole so there is some serious bounce of your foot when you walk.

While I don't have any huge complaints about this product, it did not quite met my expectations. I bought this sandals to go to Bonnaroo with a promotional discount they gave with my ticket. I was expecting them to be great for this use. They were pretty comfortable, but compared to other kinds I have used (like Chacos) they did not fit quite as snug. I did walk 10-15 miles a day in them with minimal discomfort which is good. I would say for everyday walking and normal concert going they will be much better. I ordered a size 8, usually wear a size 8.5 and these still seemed a bit big. Also, the durability of these were not great. Like I said, I did a lot of walking in them, especially through dirt, etc. Although, a lot of the threads in the design have been snagged or came lose. I tried to gently wash them, but they still look like I've been wearing them for a year or more. The sole did hold up well. All in all, I would like to order another pair. I would like to upgrade to the more heavy duty styles that are more well fitted. I tried a pair of these on at a store and could tell the increase in quality. I would say for minimal walking, these are a cute and comfy sandal.

I love the colours and styles. I am looking for a sport model that can stand up to exercise, hiking, walking in water. I was disappointed to find that the webbing stretches when wet to the point that the thong section flops around insecurely. The fit is too big, and the back strap (the only one that's adjustable) seems to pull my foot back so that my heal hangs over the back, and the excess at the front makes me trip, particularly when they're wet. If I do them up tightly to keep from sliding around, they cut of some circulation from my feet. I'm not sure how to fix this situation.

I love my other teva shoes. My mush II are just too small. I measured my foot to the chart and ordered the size it said. No too worried about it! I know you have amazing customer service!

I did order a size smaller - I normally wear an 8, but the 7 fit my feet perfectly! I have very small ankles and the strap around my ankle was still too tight no matter how loose I tried to make it. Ignoring that, they were very comfortable. They are not easy to put on and take off.

The sandals were made to look much dressier in the pictures online, so naturally I thought it could be something I could dress up a little with a cute pair of jeans and nice blouse. However, they're just frumpy-looking. I don't know if I'm supposed to wear them with athletic shorts and tshirt, or what because they just don't look right with jeans or capris. I returned them..not really sure what I was supposed to do with them

This style sandal is so cool! Unfortunately the top strap was a little tight on my ankle when I walked... I'm positive that it would have broken in, but I didn't want the strap to look wrinkled/stretched where it flexed. Also the sea fog color is a bit lighter in person than online, in my opinion! I ended up exchanging for the Original Universal sandal in a different color and am much happier!
