Used it on a 12 day Newfoundland cruse. Rainy and windy days were no problem. There were about 16 Zodiac rides. Kept me dry the whole time. There were no zippers to get stuck and they did go on over my size 15 boots. I wore them over very light pants in typically 40F temperatures and that combination was comfortable. Highly recommended.

I have a 32 inseam and generally wear a size M. Looking at the sizing guide, I ordered an S and the pant legs are still at least 3 inches too long. I've had this on other Columbia pants, the inseam lengths are almost always off. Also, as a company that claims to be environmentally aware, sending clothes wrapped in plastic is disappointing. Your Prana brand has found a way to avoid plastic packaging.

Haven't used them yet, bought for a trip to Europe during rainy season. As far as the workmanship goes, it seems to be a good value.

To be clear, I rarely have to use these and so far I've only worn them in summer thunderstorms. They definitely keep you dry, however if you wear them for more than 30 minutes to an hour you're probably going to be wet anyway from your own sweat. Again, maybe that isn't an issue in winter showers or snow, but in the south in the summer, get ready to be sweaty.
That being said, they work great, keep you dry, and fold up easily to go in a gear bag. They go on quickly over pants and shoes and come off the same way.
The inseam is a little long, but theres a velcro strap on the ankle so it's not an issue.

I purchased 2 of these pants. I took them with me to Scotland while I was doing a thru hike of the West Highland Way and other trails in Scotland. I hiked a total of 9 days, and 6 of those days it poured rain. I wore the backcast water shorts and had these in my pack to throw on while it rained. They were easy to take on and off and kept me warm and dry. These were my 2nd favorite piece of equipment I had (only the titanium outdry running shoes come in infront of them). I would have be lost without them. If you are planning to hike at all in the rain, I would suggest these. I usually wear a large in all of my columbia pants/ shorts. These were big, but it makes them workout perfect to throw on over my shorts. I also wear them as a splash guard when I raft in the winter over my water thermals. And, I wear them in the winter over my pants if it starts to snow hard. Even though my pants are waterproof, they add a bit more protection if I want to sit down in the snow or just for the extra insulation. They are so light weight that they are an easy bit of clothing to just throw in my pack just incase.

I don't have big hips or a large backside, but these pants fit way too tightly in those areas for the size I typically wear. Ordered a XL-32. It fit great in the thighs, calves and in length. Way too tight up top. Plan on exchanging for XXL-32.

Got these pants as a replacement for my dad's last pair. Seems good quality. Nice 2 layer material. The fit was a little weird, but looks like it will do the job

I was a bit surprised at how big the bottom of the legs are. I guess they ware made that way to pull over boots, but they seem extremely large. They have velcro adjustments, but don't adjust very much. Probably would have been better with an elastic bottom. I may add additional velcro or get some kind of band for the bottom of the leg. Otherwise these seem like a quality product.

These rain pants are exactly what they say, nothing fancy but they do they job of keeping your dry.
There's no pockets, or way to access your pants/shorts under the rain pants. There's an elastic waistband with a bungee for adjusting the fit. They were comfortable, and relatively lightweight. I'm 6'0 175 lbs and got the M with 32 inseam and they fit nicely. They are very baggy at the bottom, while there's a velcro strap to adjust that, there's still a lot of material there. I would've preferred a more "regular" fit.
I gave these 4 stars instead of 5 just because of how basic they are, as well as how baggy they are at the bottom.

Fit is perfect for my applications: an emergency pair of pants to cover me in the rain, while setting up camp or hiking in foul weather.

Nice pants for rain protection. True to fit and comfortable to wear for extended period of time, even with shorts on.

Hunted around trying to find a decent waterproof pant and typically what I found was very expensive waterproof pants until I came across these romer's. They do the job I don't overheat they're not bulky I can wear long underwear underneath if need be but mostly I use them for rainy weather when hiking. They seem to hold up well I'm very satisfied with these pants and you can't beat the price when compared to others on the market if you're looking for a solid waterproof pants that's not going to blow the bank these'll do it

The Velcro ankle cuffs are poorly designed essentially making them useless. Annoying. Takes some luster off a good product for the price. I'm 5'10" w/ a 32 inch waist. Mediums were a tad bigger than I would have liked, but I'm guessing a small would be too tight.

This is a great rain pant for day to day use. I've used them in the Pacific Northwest snow, rain, rainforest, and beaches, and they've held up very well. They keep me dry when I'm bush-whacking in the woods, glissading down snowfields, and in driving rain on those coastal treks. No frills construction. You get what you pay for, and a little more. no complaints, and will definitely buy again. True to size

Needed a shell for walking/hiking in the rain or mud. I put these over any pants and stay perfectly dry and mud free.
I recommend them highly as a shell. There are no pockets so would not work as a pair of pants.

The product is great, the size is perfect and it will be very helpful in windy rainy days. I just wish they had pocket access cover by a zipper. Otherwise the product is perfect.

I purchased these for my husband last spring, we do a lot in the outdoors with our dogs and these pants are great. They are light weight and easy to store in a travel bag. They are not super thick so you don't sweat when you put them on over jeans and they are breathable.
