Solid product. Stitching is quite durable, fabric is tear resistant. Elastic waist band allows for flexibility for taking pants on/off and allows extra room for sitting and bending over. Only gripes (and they are minor ones) is that 1: there aren't any pockets. Not a huge deal since a jacket can resolve this. 2: no drawstring on waist to seal off any snow. 3: no elastic band or Velcro strap to tie off snow from boot. It's just a straight cuff, much like a pair of jeans. Then again, these aren't in the upper price range with other products, so the price point is just about right for what you get. If you can find these on a site wide sale and don't mind any of the "gripes", then I definitely recommend.

These pants are amazing. Waterproof, durable and comfortable. They do run a size large. Was hesitant to order down but definitely the right choice.

These rain pants are great! They are comfortable and easy to move around. The two biggest reasons I bought these are I wanted a quality product, which Columbia has and I wanted rain pants that have an adjustable waist and cuffs. This pair of rain pants have all of the qualities I was looking.

The over all product is a good one. Have not been in the rain yet. But being a Columbia product I believe it will perform well.

Good lining to the inside of pants of corse these pants are great for many activities and will be heavily used.

Durable well made and in stick

Bought this for our side by side. I was very pleased with how well the product is. I had done a lot of reviews and kept finding myself with this as my choice. I was worried about the seals but this is really good product and repels water and dirt very well. Great buy

Love them I crawl around being a double amputee below the knees and I swear by these.

This product fits perfectly! Waterproof and great with this bad weather.

Fits over my pants to keep me dry while walking the dog or hiking in the rain. Runs a bit large so if you wear a large i would get medium and if your inseam is 32 i would order 30. I made the mistake of ordering 32 inseam and it was too long. Customer service was excellent in making the return simple, easy and free. Thank you Columbia!!

No pockets, little baggy, functional, lightweight.

I work at a golf course as a groundskeeper. So having waterproof pants and jackets are essential. I have bought many goretex products and the rebel roamer pants so far seem to be on a quality level with the best of them. I would recommend them to anyone.

I've worn them and they fit well. Have not been caught in the rain yet. I fully expect that this addition to my rain where will fully function as advertised.

I am 5'10" and 150 pounds. I normally wear 28x30 or 29x30 in jeans and pants. I ordered a size XS and an inseam in size 30. The waist is slightly tight but I would not size up. I can easily fit these over several layers and are easy to put on while wear shoes or boots. The bottom of the pants velco to you can seal them around your boots. The water repellent is outstanding for the price point but will eventually require some maintenance and for you to apply stray on repellent.

Nice rain pants. Lightweight, wide leg opening and bottom hem so the rain pants fit over pants easily and aren't tight around the boot area. Just what I wanted.

I love these rain pants. I have 4 pairs. I wish they had three zipper pockets. 2 on the sides and maybe 1 in the back. Regardless, these pants are awesome. I'm about 5'9" and I go for a small with the shorter length.

I bought these for an overseas deployment in a rain prone country. I've only used them in the rain a few times, but unlike most other rain pants my legs didn't sweat at all. Columbia says these run large and to consider sizing down. That's partially true in my case. I normally wear a 30x32 or small regular size. So I ordered the the small with a 32 inseam. Well, the waist size is perfect, but the inseam length is more like a 34. I think Columbia should specify why or how these run large. Also, these are very baggy on me, but I'm an athletic build guy so no worries. I can put them on over my boots and it also helps with ventilation. Since these are a bit longer than usual I have to wear them above the waist of my duty pants. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but these pants don't have pockets or access cutouts so it's a bit difficult getting to things. It would also be a problem if I had to wear a duty belt. All in all, a great pair of rain gear. Lesson learned on the sizing. I'll probably give them to someone that's a little taller than me and order the 30 inseam ones.

Its very recomendable

I spend 3 or more hours out in the rain biking, hiking. These are a must have to stay dry. Very light weight.

I ordered this to use on the farm and it's not made for farm work It will do fine for city life but not on farm

This is a great lightweight product that has gotten me through medium rain bouts. I have also noticed that dirt and mud are not a problem because it can be rinsed and wiped off. This product can be worn by itself or over clothing with no problem.

Great outer shell,works great. Only drawback is no pocket access.

THese have huge wide legs from top to bottom, no tapering, would be tough to walk through the jungle or swamp in without snagging trees. Why does it not say waterproof on the listing name.
