I've been trying to get a pair for over a year now, but their always sold out. As soon as I saw them , I grabbed a pair. It was supposed to be a x-mas present but today we are having torrential down pours and flooding so I gave my husband his pants. So far so good! He's dry under the rain pants.

Not as bad as the women's Storm Surge pant, but leg volume is way too large for attached waist size

You can see in the pictures that the fuzzy side of the velcro is only about 1-1.5 inches beyond the hook side when the pant leg is fully let out. If you try to fold the pant leg over your ankle, like for hiking or tucking into tall rain boots, then the velco is ineffective. It's too short to secure the pants tightly. Waterproofing is good. Bought for cycling because of the velco, and this is yet another internet purchase I wouldn't have bought had I seen it in person.

These pants have worked great for keeping out the wet and the cold. There only real let down is that they have no pockets nor do the have any zippers to aid in donning and doffing as the weather changes, which makes them a little inconvenient.

Exactly what I ordered. Quality product and my dog Zelda loves them too. I live in the NW and rain sometimes bother's me but not Zelda. These will allow me to keep up for her weekend walks. :)

I followed the size chart when ordering, but they were at least one size too large -- as baggy as clown pants and several inches too long. I would have tried a smaller size but realized when I received them that they had no pockets, which is a dealbreaker for me.

Living in the Pacific Northwest I needed a decent pair of rain pants. These do a good job fulfilling that need. I normally wear 35Wx32L pants and ordered the Large with 32 inseam. Although I don't think it is clear in the description, I found these are cut to be overpants (as I had hoped) and they fit well over jeans. I only wish there were a pocket or two; even a patch pocket would be welcome.

Was replacing an older pair of Columbia Omnitech rain pants, also a step up from the lowest cost. The new pair is good, seems are consistent, sizing is fine. A couple of things that are evident in how they are now reducing costs, and thus not up to a 5-star rating: The new rain pants do not have slits for pockets. I was used to being able to easily reach a phone underneath the rain pant, but the new pants are totally sealed. Not a big deal, but just a little less convenient (and from Columbia's perspective, fewer stiches). Also, the new pants do not have any "breathable" lining. The old pants had a mesh interior, which allowed sweat to somewhat wick off when exercising. The new pants are not lined, just a waterproof exterior. All-in-all though, for the price, these are reasonable for occasional use. They would not be sufficient if used on a daily basis (i.e. for work).

This is a great vender "Omni", light weight and durable. My ONLY problem is there are NO pockets on the side. I ordered the product on-line and I guess I just "assumed" there were side pockets. NOPE!!!! I guess the rather inexpensive price had its drawback.I needed a 30 inseam, and had to order through the "mother" company vendor instead of the local company. Not much of an issue but extra time needed to accomplish my order.

Went hunting and it rained over 4 inches but I stayed dry. I have even used this commercial fishing. Light weight so you can move easily but still fully waterproof. Every person in my family has at least one pair.

Not breathable, no pockets, ankle closures don't get small enough, waist elastic doesn't tighten securely.

Fair rain pants. First pair I had, had a mess liner which was great. This last pair I purchased does not.

A perfectly simple pair of pants. While this 'M' sizing is "a little on the baggy side" it is only a slight negative (for Me) when I take into consideration that they I can wear them over my shorts/long pants. I prefer no pockets on my pants so this was a good selling point for me because I would prefer the cost savings that comes from features that I don't need. The adjustable velcro around the ankles is a great features but would be a greater benefit if they had more Velcro for further adjustability. The noise made when walking indoors while wearing these pants might be a "turn-off" for some people but moments spent indoors wearing these fully waterproof pants should be few for most people. Personally I would take them off (wearing shorts/pants underneath of course) or tell people they are a "static power generation device" that powers my EV bicycle.

nice pants. no pockets. velcro at the ankle. they run long, and tight at the waist. a 30 inseam is more like a 32 length..., and the M waist is more like a 30 waist. L more of a 32 waist.

I love these rain pants, and my second time ordering them. I use them while bicycle commuting. They slip on and off over pants and shoes/boots. I do use some black duct tape on the bottom of my right leg (where the chain is) to keep the fabric from getting occasionally getting sucked into the chain ring, but that's totally understandable. No complaints, very happy, and will keep buying as long as they make them :)

These seems like a quality pant. I have only worn them a few times but they keep me dry so far. I have worn them for cross-country skiing to keep me dry and they did the trick!

Great in steady rain. Need bottom to strap tighter. I am tall and thin. The bottom velcro doesn't get nearly snug enough.

I bought these rain pants to allow me to work out in the rain and on cold windy days. So far, I have not had problems with rain water getting inside the pants. Also, the rain pants do a good job of keeping the wind out -- allowing the layers underneath to keep me warm. One note -- there are no pockets in these pants. Make sure that you have some other means of carrying a wallet or ID with these rain pants.

A favorite with me, keeps you dry when walking in the rain or snow. Great for blocking the wind.
