This is a great, lightweight waterproof shell that's great for any activity. I use it for hiking in heavy rain and also for everyday use with light rain in the PNW. I'm 6'2" and 195 lbs. and the large fits perfectly. This packs up very small and is suitable for a small pouch in a backpack. If this ever wears out, I'll definitely buy another one. It's an awesome shell for much less than comparable items by other outdoor gear companies.

Without a doubt the best rain coat I have ever owned and I live in rainy Oregon. Lightweight and breaths so you do not get overheated and wet from perspiration. Got it just in time to wear during the heavy rainfall we have gotten in the last 3 days.

This rain jacket is the best, water will not penetrate this jacket at all and it has nice seam seal zipper and sleeves for water proofing and breathable. Deep pockets to get thing dry also. We where in Alaska last fall and it rains a lot there in the fall, this jacket was perfect for thee rain and temps. I LOVE THIS JACKET. Bought this one for my son because he works at night outside and it keeps him dry, he really likes it also.

I bought this for my boyfriend because his 'rain coat' was atrocious. It neither kept him warm nor repelled water (definitely wasn't Columbia made). I was standing there, wringing out his coat as it was soaked through after we got a little drizzle and said 'Enough'. Hopped on Columbia and immediately bought him this. He is 6'1 and ~200lbs

This jacket has all the features that I was looking for. For my job is very functional and easy to carry and store. I will buy it again.

I bought 2 of these jackets for an upcoming trip to Alaska, one for hubby and one for my son. Guys haven't worn them yet, but it is clear they are quality made--not disposables. We're confident they can serve as rain coats 3 seasons of our calendar. Sized up on hubby's, and it appears there is plenty of room fir layering. Did not size up son's jacket as he was already an XXL. Interesting that I saw him try it on, and, again, plenty of room for layering. We love that these jackets pack within a pocket for compact travel.

Exceptional product in every way. Keeps the rain out, and doesn't get to warm. Only wish it had an inside pocket.

Well fitting, good quality material. The hands could have used an elastic to tightly seal them. Overall, no questions about water resistance and good quality.

It does exactly what it sets out to do. What could be better than that?

Nice bright yellow color - safe at night Nice light weight - just what I want for my sea kayak trip. Fits a but snug over a super-thick Irish sweater - but bet it will be fine over a regular sweater.

This jacket has kept me dry in the toughest conditions. I work for a tree service so we are always working in the rain as well as any other regular day and I am amazed how dry it keeps you. My other jacket I had before I bought the Water Tight II jacket did not keep me dry so that being said Columbia is the way to go.

I bought this one for my husband. Now the entire family has one. If you are looking for a jacket that will actually keep you dry, this is it. This is water proof, not water resistant. After hours in the rain, there is no water seeping through the fabric or the seams. The pants that match this are wonderful too. Mine is 4 years old and still perfect. I love that it will pack down really well to travel. It is made of a great fabric. It isn't plastic like, its comfortable. The visor on the jacket is nice in a really bad rain. Our 5 dogs have never done any damage jumping up on me. It's durable. THIS is the jacket to buy.

Bought this gem a couple of weeks ago. We live in the San Francisco area and just had a tremendous rain storm. Great timing to test this jacket. I don't like heavy jackets as I get hot. This lighter weight and heat lining kept me perfectly warm without overheating and kept the rain out! With zipper up I was well shielded from the rain and front hood extension kept my glasses dry. A winner for Columbia and users.

Nice jacket. The material is anti-water with good quality. Soft and smooth. I am very fond of this jacket.

I am 6 ft 1 in. 200 lbs. an this coat size XL is a perfect fit. It works great, keeping out the rain and wind. It's replacing a 20+yr old Columbia jacket. Now my old one is still in good condition but has some wear. The biggest advantage is that this coat has no heavy material. you almost don't feel like your wearing a jacket! LOL

This jacket is really lightweight and comfortable. Also watertight usually lightweight rainjackets lets water penetrate through after 1-2 hours of in the rain not this jacket. I was chopping wood in the rain for hours, even though I was sweating when I took it off I was dry couldn't believe it. By it being lite it's easier for me to wear it then stuff it in the pockets door easy carry.

Going on a cruise to Alaska and wanted a waterproof , lightweight rain jacket - not sure how the weather will be in Alaska. Excited to try it out.

I am 5,4 foot tall and 189 pounds and L fits well , sleeves little bit longer wich is good in rain ( thats why i coose L size not M ) test the jacket it is waterproof and takes little space to store so happy with purchase .
