Not my favorite short. I bought them in my usual size last season, and found them snug. This year, bought two more pair in a size up only to have them be too big. Plus, the pockets tend to hit me in a weird spot, making my hips look bigger. Not the look I was aiming for. Plus, hoping they would work well for walking

The shorts look great but they do not stretch which is what I wanted. I have returned them and I haven't got a confirmation of my return, which is concerning.

I don't find these as useful as the PFG shorts. Fit not as relaxed or as relaxed as pictured.

The sea blue color is great. I also ordered the mango and was really excited for it however, the mango is see through.

I noticed that the bottom of the legs tend to bunch up as I walk. I have these same shorts in the gray color and while they bunch up a little, it's not as bad. The legs on these shorts might be slightly longer compared to my gray pair. Other than that, they are comfy and cool on these hot summer days.

They are alright this color did not fit like the other colors I got.

Just OK. Good things: Fabric dries quickly, pockets, waist tie for adjustable fit. Not so good: fabric is thinner than I would like, inseam rolls up with movement, so these did not provide "thigh rub protection" for me.

These shorts are great but do not have any stretch to them at all. I wear a M in everything and while these shorts fit, they're quite tight on the waist and there's not even a little stretch.

These shorts are fine while standing or walking. When seated, however, they are uncomfortably too short in the crotch. Though I am 5'3", 120 lbs., Columbia's Petite size 6 is not a good fit for me.

The only problem I have with these shorts are that the hem rolls up when I'm sitting. Could be they were stitched wrong.

Bought two of these ( black and blue). Material is light, comfortable. I am petite 5'3 and 105lbs, ordered the XS, the size (waist) and the length were great, and it is not too baggy. The only thing that is odd is that they ride up in the back (buttocks). Almost perfect! Will keep them, too much of a hassle to return.

Much too baggy in the groin area for women's shorts, and also a bit longer than I expected. However, fit in the waist so that was frustrating. Returned.

I liked these shorts, they felt true to size in the waist. The longer length was nice and would be great for hiking. If you have a bigger behind like me, though, these shorts will constantly ride up it. I ended up returning.

These shorts are very comfortable and lightweight. The only issue I have is the fabric rolls-up on the legs. Constantly have to roll them back down.

These are great fit in waist but, way too big in legs. They have such a wide opening its not my kinda short. They are okay to wear over something else but not alone. I'm 5'4 and 115lbs. I wear small an size 2 - 4. These fit good just the legs as I said.

I ordered a size M in White Cap Blue. The color is beautiful, like a deep shade of powder blue and the fabric will dry quickly if wet. It is not a stretchy fabric but more like a crisp parachute fabric. The length is OK, but on the short side. These shorts are not cut generously. Not enough fabric was spared to create a comfortable leg width to allow for unrestricted leg movement while hiking or lunging during athletic activities. Also, although there is an elastic waistband for stretch, the waist wasn't cut with enough fabric to stretch very far. Bottom line: this model is not cut as fully as one would think by looking at the photos of an elastic waisted boxer-cut athletic short, so order a size larger than you imagine you need.

I already own a few of these shorts ( in size large) and love them so I bought more when they went on sale. The sizing is very inconsistent. The ones I already own fit great. The ones I just ordered run small so unless you like tight shorts order up a size.

I bought these for a week long lake vacation. Needed something to pull on over swimsuit. I think that they are short in the crotch area and not as flattering as something that buttons/zips. If you are stick thin and in great shape, I bet they are super cute.

I really wanted these shorts to fit, but unfortunately they didn't fit right. It felt a little short in the waist area and I would have preferred a longer length on the inseam. Had to send them back.

wanted to love the shorts as I have had these before, but lost some weight and those are too large. These however ran really small and very short. Guess I'll wear the baggies - returning these

Good for work outs or general activity. Love these have pockets.

I really like the shorts but they are slightly tight in the waist. Usually a Large is more than roomy for me.
