These are very comfortable shorts that already feel broken in. There is very little stretch in the waistband, so be sure to accurately order sizing. They run true to size.

I really find this material and design is, in my opinion, Is a superior light weight material which is ideal for areas that are extremely hot and humid. I enjoy wearing them and plan,to buy additional colors and replacing my heavy weight cotton shorts and pants.

I bought several Columbia shorts (Shale Trail and Bonehead II) and these probably have the best fabric feel compared to the other two. It's thinner and comfortable when going about your day.

These shorts are extremely comfortable and light weight. No fancy pockets (AKA cargo shorts), just regular, nice fitting shorts.

Bought 4 pair of these and i'm happy with them all. They are all pretty true to size, I got the 10" inseams because I'm taller and they fit well, right above the knee. Will be buying more in the future!

These shorts appear to be well made and are certainly very comfortable. The cotton material is light weight. Ideally the shorts should be made with a a little heavier quality of cotton material however time will tell if the fabric is durable. Overall the shorts are very good and I recommend that you try them. You will be pleased with them.

From hangig out on the boat to lounging around the house or anywhere in between! These ahorts can do it all. Lightweight and comfortable, great looking and excellent in warmer weather! I own 4 or 5 pair!

This is finally my go-to short for the very hot and humid summers. I only wish there was more consistency in Columbia's sizing. I started buying down a waist size because most of their items that are described as "modern classic" fit are still too baggy in my normal size. This one is supposed to be modern classic, but actually runs slimmer than other Columbia things in this waist size.
