Love the coat the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the color isn't exact to picture otherwise it does it's job

I love this jacket, the color( I got the Navy), the weight, its perfect for rainy days. My only issue is the sizing. I am normally an xl, read the reviews that this can run tight so I went up to a 1X. Sadly if I am wearing a heavy sweater the arms are still tight. It isn't so much of an issue that I will return it, I just know that I can't wear a chunky sweater if I intend to wear this jacket. I have to say it does keep you pretty warm, even with just a light sweatshirt under it. I wore it last week when the temp was about 20 and it was pouring rain, and I was perfectly warm!

For reference, I generally wear size 22 in most retail clothing lines, and between 2x and 3x tops. Columbia I wear size 24 bottoms and 3x tops. This raincoat runs tighter in the arms compared to the Kaleidaslope jacket I have in the same size. It's a good option for warmer weather when I have less bulky clothing and/or and layers going on. It is comfortable and breathable. I ordered in Dark Ivy which to me at least, appears online to have a hint of teal in the product pictures. In person it is a solid jewel-tone green.

Waterproof but not sure about the color or value. Should have returned it for something else.

This is a rain jacket and it does what it is supposed to. I am happy with this jacket and wear it a lot with a vest underneath for warmth. The zippered pockets are great and I like the hood. Recommend this one!

I ordered the item based off the price and reviews. I love the color is to vibrant. Couple of cons, it runs a little small I ordered my size, never had an issue with Columbia and their items. This does run a little small, so I can only wear a shirt underneath no layering.

Love this jacket, would work perfect for rainy days or sleet storm but for the 2XL plus size the upper arms were tight and smaller than the rest of the jacket. I also purchase d the whirliebird III which fit perfectly all around for those of us with fuller upper bodies!

Good jacket in a summer downpour. Zips and pockets worked well. I have had this same type Columbia jacket for at least 12 years. The waterproofing eventually breaks down, but I also fold and stuff into a backpack. The fit is roomy enough to layer with a heavy sweater so it is also the jacket I take travelling into cold weather when I want to pack light.

I bought this for my mom and had it shipped to Philippines in time for the wet season. She loved it! The jacket kept her from getting soaked during heavy rains yet still breathable, perfect for PH's humid rainy weather. I hope that the waterproof tech of this jacket will last long.

Plus size women means plus size body parts. I think they focused too much on increasing the room in the midsection and not enough emphasis on the arms. My arm section is a lot more restricting than I would like. There is no give in the material so definitely order a size up.

I recently lost my previous Columbia rain coat and could not order a new one fast enough.

Quite noisy. I don't care for the rustling crackle noise of some water proof apparel. I bought two jackets. I'm keeping one, returning the other.

I purchased this jacket for an upcoming Alaskan adventure. Upper arms are a bit tighter than usual. I went with a larger size so I can layer, which should work. Jacket is lightweight, great color, Velcro over the zipper and is omnitech waterproof, which is what I wanted. I also bought another Columbia rain jacket, a little heavier and the two should be perfect for my needs. Just wish the upper arms had a bit more room.

Noisiest jacket I've ever worn, got it months ago tried it on it looks amazing. We're a neurotic bunch of friends, all through grammar; school some same HS, still hanging out. No filters needed, or owned lolol. My bff purchased a beautiful soft shell pink Columbia, the swoosh noise bothers her. We have to meet to see if she can stand the crackle noise of my hard shell jacket before trip. Lolol! I'm hopeful that it'll get softer when used, anyone know what jackets don't swoosh and crackle! Hahahaha! Really pretty jackets both of them. I love the small brimmed hood, perfect design.

Received this jacket. Was nervous with being a plus sized. The fit of this jacket is great along with the tapered details. I don't feel boxy in it.

I wear a size 16W (wider in the waist) and ordered the 2 X so I would have plenty of room for a sweater under the jacket. It fits perfectly everywhere but the arms. The arms are snug from the shoulder to the elbow. I kept the jacket as it did work for me but I would encourage Columbia to redesign the arms!

The Velcro on the end of the sleeves get stuck to the velcro on the jacket. It's a little annoying, but it will get in the way and become fussy after getting stuck a few too many times.

Very nice lightweight jacket. Great colors. However, it does run small. For the plus size ladies, I highly recommend you order one size up. The armholes and across the chest are tight. If you normally wear a 3X, I would pass on this jacket. You will not be comfortable. I really wanted it to fit properly, because it is nice.

I should have listened to the reviews that said this jacket runs small. I ordered a large enough size, but this jacket was still too small, especially in the sleeves. I returned it for size. Everything else about this jacket was very nice.

I really love the jacket! Only problem is it runs a bit small mostly in the chest. If I went a size up I would be drowning in the arms.

While I haven't worn this in a downpour, it did keep me dry when out for a few hours in a drizzle. I bought it in the Blue Heron color and love it - it's a bit different than the blue you get in most active wear.

The first time I ordered it was a little small (I had ordered an XL) so I was disappointed when it didn't fit. My fault because I didn't read the fine print. Before returning it I had my granddaughter (college age) try it on and it fit her. I did go ahead and order another in a larger size (2X although I would normally wear a 1X) and I really do love it. It's come in handy because we are having a lot of rain right now.

Great cost for warm weather. Wore it on a cold day and i was FREEZING! Do not wear for warmth! The arms run a lil snug compared to my winter coat, which has plenty of room. Overall, well worth the money.

I shopped a long time trying to find the right jacket to wear most of the year around in the Pacific Northwest and this one is almost everything I wanted. My main problem with it is merely cosmetic. The sleeves are way too short. My sweater sleeves are exposed when I wear it and I will have to wear gloves to keep my hands warm and dry. I could've used another inch in the length overall too. I wear an xl but had to size up and pay extra for a 1x because the jacket runs small. I don't plan on returning it because I love everything else about it.
