This shoe looked like what I wanted, but felt like hell after wearing them for a few hours. I am a New Yorker and New Yorkers walk A LOT. I could not wait to take these things off when I got home. They were about as comfortable as a $1 pair of flip flops but much more expensive. Sorry Zappos, I still love you but need to return the shoes

The shoe looks fabulous, but is completely unwearable. The back slides off after taking just a few steps and then the shoe turns into a flip flop. I love the style, but unfortunately will not be able to wear these. I got too excited when I tried them on and took the tags off; too bad as I won't be able to return them.

So disappointed, I was ready to love these sandals. Instead of being snug and cushy, they were like wearing clown sandals. I couldn’t walk in them without the soles sliding away from my foot. They were a poor fit for me and had to be returned, but they might be a better fit on another foot.

I developed a rash from the cloth between my toes and on top of my foot after day 2-3 of wearing them. Worst shoes I have owned in recent memory. I threw them out.

I was so excited for these shoes because they truly are extremely comfortable. However, the sling back DOES NOT stay on your heel. No matter what I try, it slips off... sometimes immediately other times it lasts a bit longer but always slips off within 10 minutes of wear. Super disappointed bc with the heel constantly slipping it’s quite the annoyance and thus takes away the value of the shoe.

Based on the reviews I purchased these because I needed a flip flop-type shoe that had a strap around the heel. I recently had total knee replacement and in the process my tibial nerve was damaged. As a result, the bottom of my foot is numb and I'm unable to grip a regular flip flop with my toes. I wore these one time and the back band kept sliding off causing an even greater safety hazard than a regular flip flop. Although I had already worn them, Icalled to see if there would be any consideration for a refund. I talked with Christoph who ~ without hesitation ~ said, "of course, what I will do is issue you an immediate refund" and told me that I didn't even need to return them. To just donate or give them to someone who could use them. Today just solidified why I will always be a loyal and frequent Zappos customer. OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Thank you Zappos!!

Great but unwearable... I love these shoes, they are stylish and extremely comfortable; alas, the back band slips off every other step, making them unwearable. I am very disappointed and wish there was a way to tighten the bands...

Disappointed. The fabric on the shoes I received was very thin. The pic shows the fabric sitting in fairly wide bands. I tried to move the fabric around to achieve this look, but was unable to. I wore them to work one day and the back strap kept slipping off my heal. I had to go home on my lunch break to change. Overall, very disappointed because I read the high ratings this shoe got. :(

I purchased these shoes to wear during the summer for walking distances but still to be stylish. After one time out they are now in the back of my closet. The yoga mat sole gets slippery if your feet sweat or you come in contact with water/rain. They also make an awful flopping sound…like the noise you get when you buy cheap strappy flip flops. I would not recommend these.
