These sandals could have been super comfortable if they weren't too loose on my narrow foot. They run pretty true to size, but my foot felt like it was going to fall out as I was walking around the house, even with the buckle on the tightest option. They gold straps seemed a little beat up as well, as if they had been worn by someone else.

Loved the design of the straps and the flowers on the footbed but they felt too wide and not snug enough. Also they are more coral in color than red.

Although reasonably comfortable, I should know better than to try sandals with something between the toes! Just never feels comfortable. Also, these seem like they flop around because of the thin straps.

I want to love these sandals, but they hurt after an hour of wearing them around the house. I think Born is one of the best brands in terms of pairing style & comfort...but these miss the mark. Super cute, but not an all day sandal.

Straps were too lose for me and the footbed was too padded. My heal slipped off the heel portion of the footbed as I tried them out around the house. The straps offer no support. I have narrow feet but the shoe was even narrow for me. I'm returning them. So sad...I really want a nice pair of white sandals.

These are lovely, and they fit well overall and like all Born shoes, were super comfortable right out of the box. Ultimately though I had to return them because my heels were sliding from side to side when I walked around. My feet are very narrow and because of the way the straps are, there is not a lot of support or structure to hold your feet on top of the sole. If your feet are wider than mine (which most people's are), it may not be a problem. I am sad to return them because they look so good and feel so good when I am standing still, but I can tell they will not be comfortable over the long run. :(

Not very comfortable and the post between the toes was very hard and rubbed even while I was walking around my house. I returned them in favor of the Born Ruben.

While I really like the style of this sandal, the fit was too narrow. I normally wear a 8.5/9 size shoe, I ordered my average size 8.5, but overall, it was too small. My big toes and little toes felt like they were sliding off the sides of the foot pad. I ordered a 9 then a 10 hoping that a bigger size would be somewhat wider, but my toes still fell to the edges. If you have narrow feet, this would be a great sandal. I like the padded soles and the way the shoe breaks at the right places when walking. I just wish they came in wider sizes.

Material was very nice. My foot isn’t very wide and I got horrible blisters on my little toe while on vacation and never wore them again.

I am so disappointed in the color of this "white" sandal! It is not white, rather off-white or light tan. The fit, style, & comfort are excellent! The web site is deceiving as the sandal looks true white. I will sadly return.

Cute sand less. No arch support. I'm returning them.

These shoes were cute while they lasted. I purchased them on 6/30 and after 6 weeks of not wearing them every day, one of the straps broke off the shoe while I was walking to work. Disappointing, especially since Born has always been a reliable brand.

I loved the look of these sandals and when I initially tried them on, they felt supportive and comfortable. When I walked in them, however, the toe thong rubbed the top of my foot in a very uncomfortable way. I had to sent them back.

I wanted to love these, but my the color wasn't what I expected based the pictures, and my foot just didn't feel secure enough in the flimsy straps. I expected more.

I loved these shoes at first; fit well, looked nice, etc. However, after a while the material under my toes started to come off and now I have worn spots after one season of infrequent use. Disappointed in the quality at this price point.

Didn't like it. I wore them one day and I thought my foot slipped back and forth. I guess my foot is too thin. I normally wear a medium. The front was fine. It held my foot in but not my heel.

I bought these to replace a similar pair of Born sandals that I wore out after 3 years. They look similar, but don't provide nearly the support or comfort. I buy Born almost exclusively, and am willing to pay the higher cost for the comfort. But these are a huge disappointment. I could get a similar style in a non-comfort brand for a fraction of the cost.

My heel kept sliding sideways. The back strap is not supportive at all. Strap material was very flimsy.

I have a pair of these in the brown color. I love them. They fit well, are very comfortable and are of obvious good quality as they should be for the price. They fit true to size. I wear a 39, or 8 in most all shoes including these. The bad news, I just bought these in silver. The leather is flimsy and appears stretched out. They can't be adjusted tightly enough to stay in place. The leather has a dull, worn appearance and I'd call it a goldish silver, not true silver. They flop around on my feet, and look cheap overall. Back they go.

I purchased these sandals to wear with a bridesmaid dress in a wedding two weeks ago and basically have not stopped wearing them until this past weekend when a strap broke off in the middle of the day. I was very upset as I really find these sandals to be comfortable and supportive compared to most flat sandals on the market today. The leather sole also molded very well to my feet. The gold also matched perfectly and I preferred this gold over the other gold color available on some other born sandal styles right now. One thing I do want to point out is that after a week the gold on the sandal started fading into a blue/silver color that made me it look like the gold was painted on and chipped right off the sandal. Not a great look but I had planned on keeping the sandals anyway until they broke which was the last straw. I have contact customer service and hope to return these and find a new pair of gold sandals ASAP.

Background: I generally love Born and I don't generally have sensitive feet. I'm also very careful about slowly wearing in a pair. But these sandals caused a very deep and distinct bruise on the ball of my foot. My husband and I were astounded having never even considered a person could have a bruise there. I was sure a foreign object must have been lodged in the sole or accidentally been placed between the layers but you can't feel anything specific there. Somehow it's just the design, as another commenter wrote. It's unfortunate: great price, great look, great straps for city living... I'm heartily bummed.

I wish I'd pay better attention to the reviews that talked about the back strap being too long. That was the case for me; even on the last hole they came right off my feet. They're cute and I like the silver color, but they are unwearable.

I had the highest of hopes for these sandals. I did extensive research on what were to be THE go-to sandals for this summer, and probably a few summers to come. I tried them on in person a few times before actually ordering via Zappos. They are beautiful sandals, and as others say, perfectly comfortable to wear right out of the box. However, I wore them for a short walk on the first day I had them, and the strap between the toes ripped, almost like it was severed. Zappos has amazing customer service, so returning them is a breeze. Can't decide if it was a fluke and I should give them another go. Not sure that an $85 pair of sandals should break the first time you wear them.

These sandals look great but really aren't very comfortable. The sole is just too thin. I don't think the quality matches the price. Returned.
