Comfortable fit, water resistant, looks fly. A jacket that layers nicely for colder days and packs away easily.

The Precip is light and reliable. The hood tucks away conveniently and the fit is true to size - medium for 5'11 and 178 lbs.

Loving this new light yet waterproof jacket for bike rides. Replacing an old jacket with a sweet upgrade! I love the sinch cord around the bottom hem. Only thing I'd suggest is maybe a little more form fitting on the hood, it's pretty big and floppy but would still rate this a 5/5. I got the "Copper" colored one so that I'd be better seen at night while riding my bike. Love the color!

Got this to replace a similar product from a different brand that I got years ago before my brand loyalty switched to Marmot. That jacket finally died and I'm even more pleased with Marmots version. The size predictor put me in a S but it looked too billowy on me and I returned for the XS. I'm 5'1, 121lb, 34b. The S would have allowed more layering underneath but the XS was definitely more flattering.

Great built product. Solid for the entry level price. I wouldnt be on the trail with it but its not designed for that. Weekenders, light hikers, ball games, all that is perfect for this coat

I just bought this jacket to replace the same one I bought almost 10 years ago and loved. 10 years later, the product hasn't changed much, which is just what I was hoping for! I stay dry without getting overheated, and love how it folds up so compactly into the hood.

I have owned a earlier model and needed a new model. Marmot reduced the weight and the fabric is more pliable than my old PreCip Jacket. I hope to receive many more years of durable service from this jacket

I waited quite a while, and comparison shopped a great deal, before buying a lightweight, soft, rain shell. When I finally saw the PreCip in person, I was sold. It's light, it's super nicely made, it adds no warmth (this is good for my use), and it breathes nicely. We've had a lot of rain this spring/summer in Northeastern US, and this has been a terrific item to have during this time. Highly recommended.
