I don't fish but I do walk dogs and like to have everything I need (bags, keys, money, license, phone etc) on me but not in my hands which have to hold the leashes. These pants are great.I have no idea if they are true to size for a male body, but the small works well for me and I can throw them in the dryer and not worry that they will shrink up to nothing. I have a pair in every color. My first pair is now threadbare, but still going strong.

These are great shorts for fishing. I love the big pockets give plenty of room for my phone and other things. I even got a grease stain in them and it came right out.

As always, quality and service is top notch. Leg openings larger. Greater flexibility without the creep up while sitting, kneeling etc.

The fit is great and they are very comfortable

These are the only shorts that I will wear. They are extremely comfortable and last for years. I love the little knife pocket, which comes in handy all the time. I have at least 8 pairs of these shorts, and that won't be my last.

Comfortable & versatile shorts. Durability with comfort is a great combo for being outdoors. The pocket design & arrangement is perfect for allowing one's hands to be used for the activity/task through completion.

Bought these shorts thinking they'd be an okay pair... they're the best I freaking have. Wore them on a hot day with a little wind and these shorts were perfect!! Great feel, plenty of pockets, and a very VERY comfy fit!

"Shorts" are getting increasingly hard to find. I'm 5'9" and any short inseam over 8" just doesn't look/feel right. These fall above the knee and are a great fit for me. I generally don't like things in my back pockets, so I'm loving the pockets on these. The "beverage" pocket is a good fit for my Iphone SE.

Fits great, feels great, and looks great

I've been wearing these shorts for years now and they primarily all I wear in the warm months. I enjoy the various pockets and length or shorts. They are very comfortable and have held up very well over time. I'm actually wearing a pair now while typing this review! Can't go wrong with PFG.

I have been wearing this type of shorts for years. They wear great and fit well. I use the bottle pocket to carry my cell phone. These are the only shorts I wear.

These are the most comfortable, toughest/longest lasting shorts that i have ever owned - I have 7 pairs and use them virtually every day in the spring, summer and fall.

I'm not really a cargo shorts guy, but these are tough as nails - and last forever. Super comfortable and not too short... plenty of pockets and places to hook stuff for fishing or hiking. I have two pair that are probably 8 or 9 years old. Now I have two new pair!

For years now, I've lived in these shorts all summer (as long as no clients are stopping by the office). That and the PFG Bahama II Short Sleeve Shirt are my uniform. They keep me cool in the heat here (setting new records this year). I have several pair in different colors. After I lost weight, I bought a variety in a smaller size. Can't be without them. Thinking about it now, as I write this, I can't recall having ever worn out a pair (the shirts either). Checked my online orders and been wearing the shorts for at least 6 years (not including what I may have purchased from the stores). Still have the first pair from my online order... wore them yesterday.

They fit great, look great, and have a pocket described as a beverage pocket but it also functions well as a phone pocket.... My most recent order was for 2 pairs so now my inventory is 3 colors of the shorts!
