Bought this for a trip to Costa Rica since it was lightweight. It did not keep anything dry on the one day we hiked in the rain. Wish I had taken a poncho or umbrella instead!

I purchased this coat and was extremely disappointed with the very thin material and the velcro material. Nowhere in the description does it mention the velcro nor does it show it in the pictures on the website. The velcro rubs against your face and neck and gets stuck on things unless you wear the coat completely zipped up to the very top.

Have had this jacket for probably two years now. I do not find it breathable at all. I just ordered a different brand because no matter how cute this is, not matter how small it folds for travel... I just can't wait to take it off .

The drawstring on the hood broke instantly. This is before I even tried it on. Additionally the hood could be larger to provide optimal protection from the rain. Women's hoods should allow for a pony tail at the very least. Additionally the sizing doesn't allow to comfortably layer and I bought a size larger than my other jackets. I envisioned this as something to pull out and put over my clothes. It's sized like a shirt. I would return if it weren't a hassle. Color is beautiful though. I don't know how this is worth the original price. Very disappointed.

I was disappointed that the new Arcadia II jacket feels much cheaper and thinner. To add to it, they took away the elastic at the wrists and the Columbia is no longer embroidered into the jacket. It is just printed on. I don't expect this jacket to last that long this time. This jacket was a replacement to my 7 year old Columbia Arcadia II jacket, because the liner of it it finally started to shed. It got heavy use over the years and went on every one of my travels. The only reason I'd recommend the updated one as an option is because the waterproof features of the jacket are still OK.

not as nice as previous columbia rain jackets. it's more stiff and noisily crinkly. the sleeve length and coat length is shorter and there is a rough inner mesh lining. My old jackets have a lining but it is soft. will be returning it and trying to find a new brand to get my rain jackets from.

I like this jacket: lightweight, beautiful color (got mine in red), really like the mesh inside. However, the zipper on it is very flimsy and poor quality. I wore it only a few times, but it already split on the bottom. I am being extra-careful with it, but feel that it will break any second... Such a shame for an otherwise lovely jacket!

The jacket is pretty boxy and stiff, and not very flattering on petite women.

I really want to like this Jacket, but it has no style. Maybe if I would have ordered my size it would work. I ordered a extra Large because I want to wear a fleece Jacket underneath. It works for that, but it just looks blah. I did keep it because it functions for what I want to use it for. If you are not layering then buy your size and maybe even a size smaller. Other then that its is a nice wind breaker. It does have Velcro cuffs, and a draw sting at the bottom, but do you see on the 2nd picture how it shows its a bit tapered at the waist. I don't see that with the extra large coat, and it could be because I ordered a larger size

I had to return this coat because the inside is mesh which was too uncomfortable to wear with short sleeves. Also had to pay for return shipping.

The material feels cheap and the fit in the sleeves is poor; the outer sleeve is shorter than the inner lining, so the lining hangs out. I would not recommend or buy again

Originally I had ordered XL as per the size chart. I am 5'8, 220 lbs, size 16. The was a little tight across the back of the shoulders, but very small in the HIP area. Arm length was good, actually a little big, but the Velcro straps help that. My mother is 5'4, 135 lbs, normally a size M-L, and this XL coat fit her almost perfectly (just a tad big on her but hardly noticeable) so I sold it to her. I then ordered the 1X and the coat is barely any larger than the XL. The shoulder and hips are OK now, but the arms feel smaller (but OK) than the XL which is strange. Have not worn in rain yet- waiting for it to rain. I like the style of the coat, looks nice and I do recommend it but order up 1 size from what the chart tells you!...

This jacket runs very narrow across the back and chest in proportion to the rest of the fit.

I have owned this jacket for 7 months and have been soaked through a few times now. I think if a jacket is waterproof it should be able to withstand being in the rain for more than an hour and a half before completely soaking my clothes underneath. Even being in the rain for 15 minutes causes the jacket to be damp on this inside. Overall a good fit but now I need to buy a new jacket because I need a jacket that is truly waterproof.

It would be a really nice rain jacket but it was really snug when it's zipped up.

Purchased due to claims that the material would breathe but it really doesn't. I was damp with sweat within a very short period of time on a brisk walk in a cool temp.

Only because I needed something warmer. This jacket seemed like a quality rain jacket but is super thin and I was hoping for something warmer so I wouldn't have to layer quite so much.

We both purchased waterproof jackets for a fishing trip at the cape. It rained all day on 10/10/17, we stood in the rain and fished. As we were leaving, we took off our jackets before going into the car and it didn't matter, we were soaked inside out. I purchased a jacket at the outlets years ago and never had an issue with it, it was definitely waterproof. The new styles, not so sure.

I bought this same jacket a few years ago in a different color. When this jacket arrived I was unpleasantly surprised with the decline in quality of the garment. The velcro closers were made of much narrower velcro, there was less stitching on the front of the jacket and it just felt "cheaper". I have not yet worn it in the rain so I do not know how that will work out.
