Bought the rain jacket several weeks ago and will just get a chance to first wear it tomorrow finally. I love the way it looks. The arms are very long, I have to fold them. I do wish that it had a better lining in it. The under arms fit a little snug.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
overall a great jacket! I haven't had the chance to test it out in the wild yet, but i bought a medium (am usually a small) so there's some room to layer, and am glad I did so. The white is exactly as pictured.

Fits small. Make sure you order a size bigger, but returning is easy & amazing.

This is a really good rain jacket. I got it last week and wore it the next day on a 3-mile hike in coolish weather and light rain. It kept me warm and dry, and the pockets were great for holding keys, dog leash, etc. Definitely recommend.

Brought this jacket for my girlfriend and she loves it the cool thing about this jacket it folds up in a pocket and she can put it in the purse. It is 100 percent waterproof and very light weight its the perfect rain coat!

I bought this jacket primarily for a trip to Iceland as the weather fluctuates throughout the day and I needed something to keep me dry but that I could wear layers under. It was perfect! Kept me dry in the rain and helped cut the wind a bit. It was a bit snug with multiple layers underneath (at one point I had a long sleeved shirt, fleece vest and a fleece jacket on under it) but I had expected that. When I have just a t-shirt under it, it fits really well. The only real complaint I have is the mesh lining used on the sleeves gets pulled down into the sleeve more when I put my arms in the jacket because it clings to my arm or my shirtsleeve. So I have to do some adjusting to not have mesh coming out the cuffs and so I can move comfortably. However, once I get that situated, it's a great jacket. The Velcro is not my favorite closure (I'd rather snaps) but it is effective and seems of good quality. The drawstrings are really great to keep the hood up when it's windy. I purchased this in grape color and have had so many compliments on it. It's a great spring/summer/fall rain jacket.

After reading other reviews, I first ordered a large after being afraid the extra large would be way too long in the arms. The large, however, did fit snugly as others had said. I then ordered an extra large to compare. I was very surprised that there was extremely little difference in the two sizes, perhaps a fourth of an inch in girth and arm length, so I kept the XL, for a little more wiggle room. I am 5'2'' and have a rounded frame. Free returns like in other online stores would have been a help to keep me as a returning customer.

I'd like a longer jacket and, since I ordered an XL, I'd like one that is cut a little more generously in the stomach and arm holes, but I'm thrilled with the fact that it is 100% waterproof. It's surprisingly hard to find affordable, lightweight rain coats that keep out anything more than a strong mist.
Plus the Light Grape color is *gorgeous*.

I bought this jacket in the color "Bluebell". The jacket itself is great, but the color is more "muted" than I expected. It made it appear used and old. I would suggest sticking to the other colors.

The jacket's length is fine. The underarm and bust area run small. I exchanged it for a IX and plan to keep going upwards in size until I am comfortable. It is well made, serviceable, has zip pockets. I am looking forward to wearing it.

The jacket is very nice and I plan to keep it. However I do wish the hood had a draw string. In our windy weather it just blows back off my head and offers no protection. I considered returning it for this reason

This is a cute, lightweight jacket with a surprisingly flattering cut for a rain coat. It fits true to size; I would recommend going up a size if you plan on layering at all. The biggest con is how noisy it is. I ended up going with the Splash a Little Rain jacket instead, which has more coverage and is much quieter.

My daughter loves purple - any variation of it. I bought this color because it appeared from the website to be lilac in color. It is really much more pink. We are returning it. :-( So sad.

I bought this jacket in white for my wife as a Christmas gift. She looks fantastic in it! The quality of the jacket is very good and it keeps her completely dry. It does run a little small so take that into consideration when buying.

This jacket is my first rain jacket and I love it . I debated between this jacket and a North Face jacket since it was my first time purchasing one and I was not only pleased with the quality of this product but also the price.

Two days after receiving this raincoat (XL Geyser) I went camping. Just when I pulled into a campsite, a downpour began. No time for a tarp. I cooked dinner with just the van's lift gate for shelter as I set up camp. This raincoat performed! Feet and legs got "damp" , but not shoulders, or head. Trustworthy!
I like the soft, lightweight fabric and the beautiful color. It folds up small, but it's not designed to pack into a pocket. It fits nicely into a stuff sack I had. I bought the XL instead of L after reading reviews. It fits fine and has room for a light jacket underneath.
I did research and one reason I chose this was the length. A raincoat should cover your seat!
However, if I were designing a raincoat it would:
1. Absolutely have a two way zipper for convenience in sitting, reaching jeans pockets, etc. WHY in the world have raincoats omitted this feature?
2. Use snaps instead of velcro on the front. I plan to change this myself.
3. Have a detachable hood. This coat is stylish. Sometimes I would like to wear it in a little dressier venue or as a simple windbreaker.
4. Figure out how to secure the sleeve lining so it doesn't push out of the end of the sleeve. I will probably compromise the waterproofness by a small stitch or two under the arm.
I am very pleased with this purchase, and will enjoy keeping dry on hikes in the rain!

Very flattering fit. I'm 5' 9", 140 lb and got the small. The sleeves might be a little short (but then again all sleeves are a little short for me!), but the small fit better than the medium. The tan accents on the side are nice. I just wish it had a way to stow the hood - for that, 4 stars.

I love this jacket. It is super comfortable! The only issue that I had with it is that it runs a little big. Other than that its a great jacket and I will be ordering it in a size smaller.

I always get compliments on my hibiscus Columbia raincoat. It is quality construction and keeps me dry and the wind out as I walk. The hood is large enough with it's little visor to keep the rain out. My only problem would be that the sleeve length runs quite long. I have long arms and a wider back, so I needed to get an XL size. The large ran too small.
Overall this is a great coat.

The product is perfect for the rain in the spring, summer, and fall. It keeps me dry and does it's job. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the ruby red color is actually pinker than it is in the picture. It wouldn't be an issue if I actually liked pink, but I don't. I am searching for one in another color and I will probably gift this one to someone as returning it would be a hassle.

This is a slightly pink red - still nice but a little too pink for me. It is reasonably priced but has few features - one good one is the mesh lining but other than that, the hood does not come off or tuck away and there are only two exterior pockets. For a little more money at the Marmot PreCip includes more helpful features.
I'd also recommend:

I was opposed to rain jackets for a while because they were usually too bulky for my frame -- not this one. The material is thin, but breathable and does the trick in torrential downpour. I use it mostly for getting around the city, but it's very packable for my hikes too.
