Finally, a dress that will fit my (larger) hips without having to go to a Plus size (they are way too big in the chest). However, the armholes are too large, and the neckline is too wide. So, I ended up having to alter it in both places to make it fit better. I love Columbia clothing, but I always have trouble with the fit. I can normally wear an XL, and have many pairs of shorts/pants (although not all of those fit either - only certain styles.) I doubt I will buy another dress - too much hassle to return it.

I was so happy with this dress, at first. Loved the pattern, material. The easy draping for hot summer days. But something was very wrong about the design. The front is an umpire waist which I normally like. BUT.. they put a seam which cuts upward in the front so it doesn't fit below your bust. It cuts across it. The back has the seam in the right place. Why did they do this? It makes no sense and is uncomfortable to wear I remedied it by wearing the back as the front. And the weird front in back. I do have that triangle front and center though. I would return it but it's been over a month. Purchased a Small. I'm 5'4", 115 lbs.

The rubbery tag in the back sticks to my skin and is very annoying. The straps are a bit too long so it doesn't fit properly around the arms. It's just ok. I would not purchase another one.

Love the color; fabric is a bit thin and unforgiving and would have therefore been better in large probably. However liked it enough to keep it.

This is a really pretty dress. However I tried two sizes and neither fit. There is a seam that is supposed to go under your bust line. It either went too high across the chest, or the top part was super blousy! Not flattering at all. It is lovely lightweight material. But since neither size fit they both went back. There also are NO pockets, so not as useful. It would travel well if you got one that fit you. Good Luck! I switched to the Chill River Printed Dress instead

Dress is not true to size. Looks like easy wear and care.

Beautiful dress and color however there are supposed to have gathers in the front which is why I went down a size. No gathers. Fits everywhere else just need those darn gathers like in the picture:)

I ordered XS as I always wear this size, but it's a little tight, I like the color. I hope to lose some weight so that I can wear it eventually.

I'm big busted and this dress just didn't work for that. Plus it was too short on me (I'm tall). Returned.

I got this dress last year in a different print and love it. I didn't care for the print and the fabric seemed a little cheaper.

Didn’t love this dress. The fabric is very thin so it’s unforgiving… I can see my cellulite through it. It looks cheap to me. I ordered my regular size and it was more fitted than on the model. I did like the length… I’m 5’10 and hit right above the knee.

This fit me a little strangely. I'm 5'5", a size 4, (sometimes a 2), and a 34B. I ordered the small. It was JUST above my knees and the waist and hips were very generous. The bust fit fine but the sleeve openings were a little loose so it bowed out strangely in front of the arm openings. I'm not sure I could have taken the XS, because then it might pull across the bust. Anyway, I'm returning both colors I purchased and would try the XS but I wish it was a couple of inches shorter. I'm in my late 50s so not looking for a mini-dress, but just above the knees felt kind of dowdy.

I returned this item as I found it overpriced for the quality.

These dresses are comfortable and figure flattering, and the black and dark blue are definitely keepers. They look great with sneakers, flip flops or sandals. The other colors and patterns though, are just awful and they will immediately age you. If these came in more solids, like a crimson or deep mustard or in pretty subtle patterns that don't look like curtains, I'd buy many more! Please EB - change the colors!

I was excited to receive this dress for an upcoming beach vacation. When I received it though, I was not impressed with the fabric or the look. It fit okay, but, for the price, I returned it because it just didn't flatter in any way. It might look better on someone taller. The length on my 5'3" frame looked dowdy.

I should have known by the brand. If you just ran a 10K and want to slip into something more comfortable for aprés 10K hang, then this is cool and flouncy. Fit fine. This is a Casual, synthetic fabric, style.

Quality is good. But it runs somewhat small in size.

Bright colours great for summer .material is strong

This fabric is very thin. I will have to wear a slip with it which isn't helpful in the Summer.

Very pretty fabric and I like the dress but is more fitted than I expected. That's why I'm giving it three stars. In the photo it hangs loose and looks like a wider skirt. In actuality, it hangs straight with a straight skirt.

It’s a little more fitted in the torso than I expected but I love the fabric and cut otherwise.

I’m so disappointed after reading all of the 5 star reviews. I ordered a small and medium. Bust area much too tight in small and medium much too loose in waist/ hips. I have an hourglass/ athletic type body so being a “Columbia” dress…..it just doesn’t make sense. ?

Lightweight material is not as good as expected. I don't think it is going to hold up well.

If you have a bigger chest the arm holes will be awkwardly sized
