It's been a while since I got this pair for my daughter and they are still intact. PE, playground, daily wear - still holding on and looking good. Easy to put on, easy to take off. Super comfy, lightweight.

My son stated that these were the best shoes of the many we tried. He has been wearing for about 1 month and they seem great so far. I ordered his actual shoe size and there is plenty of room for growth.

These are the fifth pair of Tsukihoshi sneakers my kids have owned. My elder one loved them for the sensation of 'barefoot comfort' the generous styling and super-light structure provides. My seven year old just thinks they are cool. He has lovely winter boots but rain or shine he wants to wear these shoes! Pluses: 1) Super easy to get on and off 2) Very light but strong construction 3) Cool colors 4) Smart enough to wear out but also good for running and school. Warning: They size large. I bought a larger size in orange and was going to return them but my kid wanted to keep them too. So, we bought a size smaller (the size he is exactly measured) and there is plenty of room for growth.

My son loves these shoes and gets a lot of compliments. They're light weight, bright and very comfortable.

Read the info regarding shoes because they run big. May need to order a size or two down. My son loves the shoes.

These are the only shoes we can continue to find that have a wide toe bed for elementary aged children - and the only shoes my son finds comfortable. We love them, only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of how quickly they wear out (and get holes on the side). For this price, they should last longer.

My son loves this brand and has been wearing for years. This model runs way too large compared to others. He was a 3 in velocity model and is outgrowing it so I ordered these in 3.5. They feel a whole size too big. But the style looks amazing. He loved them. So ordering the smaller size now.

My son loves these shoes so much, I'll probably have to buy the same ones again when the first pair wear out. They're very easy to put on, breathable and comfortable. The only issue we really have is the sizing, which is so far off! I got size 3.5 for my son when he was wearing size 4 in other shoes, because I saw reviews that say they run big. They were huge on him! He loved them too much to exchange them though, so I kept them aside until he grew into them. He was measuring 4.5 at the store and wearing 5.5 in Nikes before these fit him really well. So if you need them for immediate wear, I suggest ordering a couple of sizes and erring in the direction of smaller.

It's hard to find kids shoes with a wide toe bed (i.e., like toes are supposed to be). This shoe is one of the few I could find that did, though would prefer that the toes not also go up at the end as this is not part of the natural foot shape.

These are pretty cool looking sneakers! They absolutely run big - at least 1 full size if not a size and a half. My child needs a 3, I ordered a 2.5 and a 2. The size 2 works with a full thumb width at the end for growth. We've used this brand for many years (thought not this style) and typically order a half size down.

These shoes would be best for long narrow feet. My son should wear a size 1 but I went down to a size 12 and they were still too long. But they were far too narrow so I have to send them back. Too bad as they seem well made and are a nice-looking shoe. Keep looking if your child's feet are average or wide.

Sent wrong size but was way too big!

This model was a little stiffer at the mouth of just one of the shoes. It hurt my son a bit during the first few days but then after a few wears it was comfortable. Overall still a great sneaker.

Great shoe but runs a size larger than my child normally wears. Order a full size smaller than child would usually wear for a good fit.

Full size too large

I bought two pairs of these, one for my 5 year old and one for my 7 year old. The 7 year old, who has wide, slightly flat feet and was used to wearing Merrell sneaker-boots this winter, strongly disliked these, said they "felt weird" and said his feet felt especially "floppy" and unsupported around the arch--when I examined the shoe I realized that it really does not have much arch support, and this is likely what he was reacting to. He's now happily wearing another more structured/supportive sneaker (from Saucony) and is very happy. On the other hand, my 5 year old LOVES these sneakers. He says they have great grip and make it easy to run and climb. He has narrower feet with average arches. He has no trouble putting on and taking off himself. About sizing, I will say that while the shoes in his actual size (1) fit fine in terms of length and width, he found them uncomfortable and irritating around his ankle bone, and much preferred the fit of the next half size up. So we kept those, and even though they are a little long, he gets around in them with no problem and says they're comfy. And this way he has longer to wear them because he'll grow into them, so I'm happy too, because these are a bit pricey.

My son says these are comfortable and he likes the way they look. They are not holding up well against wear and tear of a typical 5 year old.

We love these shoes, it's difficult to find shoes for older kids with a wide toe bed. However, only downside is how quickly they wear out - they consistently get holes on the sides and typically last us only a couple months, which isn't long at this price point.

These shoes WILL get holes - we've purchased these shoes roughly 5 times for my son, and many of his friends wear the same shoe. Without fail, the shoes will develop a hole (see the picture for where the holes occur) within about 2 months. This happens not only to my son but all his friends. We keep purchasing because the fit is good, but a heads up that these do not last nearly as long as his other shoes do (we contacted the company about this directly and they didn't care unfortunately).

Shoes were not discounted yet came in plain brown box with no other brand materials or info. Seems kind of sketch.

These run big so my child will have to hold on to them until they grow a little more

Well-designed shoe, the tongue is half-sewn in, making it easier to put on. Runs *very* large.
