Love the versatility and stretchy comfort of this skort. It is a "cute" skirt... tho the under short is attached in a not so helpful way at the front, making the "tug" on the skirt pull and distort the front drape of the skirt. I may detach it and reconfigure somehow to release the pull on the fabric. I am 5 foot 6 inches 157 pounds and size 10 fits great. No belt loops so it lies pretty flat under tops... tho if you order too big, you have to rely on the inner drawstring for feeling it fits securely.

I really like that this skort isn't super short, it's hard to find skorts that don't look like they were made for playing tennis. I'm 5'3" 125lbs and the size 6 fit me perfectly. I just returned from a trip to Costa Rica and really wish I'd had this skort with me! I think it would be perfect for travel when you want to look nice, but also want to wear shorts. I'm going to Colorado this summer and feel this skort will be exceptional for a vacation like that too where I expect to be doing a lot of hiking and outdoor activities, the fabric is light and breathable and should be easy to wash and dry for multiple wears on vacation. I also see myself wearing this little number throughout summer, it may even work for yoga. Very versatile and fits within my system of only buying clothing that can be used in multiple situations. Perfect for a capsule wardrobe and for the traveler who wants to take only a carry-on.

This is a very comfortable skort, looking forward to golfing in it! It fits well and has a draw string waist in addition to the zipper and snap closure. I am 5'3 and 146 lbs, I carry most of my weight in my hips and the size 10 fit well, could have probably gone down a size, but I prefer things to be comfy rather than tight.

I just received this skort in black and I love it! I bought the Just Right pants from Columbia a couple of years ago, and this skort is the same great quality. I usually wear between a 6 and and 8, and the size 8 in the skort fit fine. I think if you're between sizes it's best to size up, as you can always use the inner drawstring to cinch the waist if needed. This will be a perfect travel skirt, as it is lightweight and a nicer alternative to shorts. I'm very happy with this purchase!

I loved the comfort, fabric and fit of the skort, it was just a tad too short for a 75 year old women. My instincts told me to return it and try another brand. I was disappointed but again, enjoyed Zappo's easy return and super customer service.

I liked everything about the skort except i want a longer length. Give me that and I'll buy every color!

This fit me weirdly - the shorts part was super tight through the butt and the crotch (bad wedgie) - and the waist was tight, resulting in not-so-lovely muffin top. I know my size, and that's what I ordered, so I think it runs small.

I purchased one of these about 3 years ago. It has been my go to for everything- quick dry for sporting activities and long enough to wear out and about. I love it so much that I just ordered another one! I ordered one size bigger than I wear normally. Love, love love this skort!!

I noticed this on two friends simultaneously wearing the product after paddling practice. I loved the way it flowed down and the length of the skort seam, whichh they happily demonstrated. I went home and immediatelty put an order in. Delivery service was quick. The item is true in comfort as it visibly represents. The shorts are very comfortable and enables comfort in freedom of movement. It dries quickly as well! I trust Columbia wear because I know their products are tested by those who use them the way Columbia intends their clothing to be used - outdoors, versatile, convenient, rugged - yet stylish, and mostly - high quality in tailoring. That is one of the most important characteristics I look for. If I can come out of the mountains with this skort, wash it and go out to dinner in it - it makes it place! I love this skirt, and I love how it wears me!!

I ordered one of these and liked it so much that I ordered two more! I do not usually wear skirts or shorts, but I love these. The skirt part is very flattering for a middle aged woman, and the shorts underneath are tight enough that your legs don't stick together while you walk.

This skort is so comfortable and cool. I love wearing it to summertime concerts. Even more comfortable and cooler than shorts and has a pocket for ID and money!

This skort really is Just Right. Good length, repels water and stains, very comfortable short underneath. I'm okay with it running a little big, as it rides just below my natural waist and is comfortable.

Super comfortable, lightweight, and practical

I recently returned home to the U.S. from a very active hiking trip to Switzerland and this item was PERFECT for a variety of activities! The dark color was a great choice, looked clean and nice all day long. Never had to iron it or hang it up even! The length and fit of this skirt makes it suitable for train rides, dinner out or hiking. Very practical when you have to pack light! I washed this skirt out in the sink a couple of times and it dried overnight when hung up in my hotel room. I'm 5'6" 125 lbs and a size 4 fits me perfectly. The shorts underneath don't sneak up on me, which is nice. I have a curvy figure so I can't wear anything too full or flowy, so the trim cut of this skort is exactly my style without feeling tight or too snug. It is also not too long OR too short. Now that I'm home, I purchased a beige version of this skort also! I really love it. Highly recommend, especially for travel.

I bought this for my daughter in Australia, she loves Columbia products. When she was in Portland last August she shopped at the Employee store before going home, just loves the products.

If you like a light weight skort, this one is for you! They are so well made and comfortable! If you are traveling, they can easily wash up and dry hanging overnight. At home, they are washer/dryer friendly. Roll them up and they really don't wrinkle too. Not too short, perfect for a hike or a stroll on the beach. You will want one in every color!

love the skort. i use them to bowl in, very comfortable to bowl in. i have several of them.

This is a great skirt and I love the "Grill" color, but I tried on the Horizon skirt and it fits my middle aged body much better, plus is slightly higher waisted. Upon closer inspection, this "Just Right" skirt is labeled, "Active Fit," which may be the difference. It has a lower more modern rise than the Horizon. I had a year of debility due to needing hip surgery, and with our long Wisconsin winter, gained some weight. The active fit, which I've had in the past, is no longer my best fit (for now). So pay attention to your form... if you are on the trim side, this skirt is great or you have to size up. If you have a bit of thickness through your torso, the Horizon skirt is great. Of course, if your form is more trim, the Horizon skirt would still be great for you... just definitely size down on that one. I would say size up on this "Just Right" but for now, I'll just settle on for waiting on this particular style. Thanks so much to Zappos for your return policy and great customer service!

The fabric is quick dry and the shorts are super comfy. The fit is just right and the colors are great. I'm 5'2" and these fit about 3-4" above the knee. These are my new go-to summer wear, whether camping, vacationing or wearing around town. I purchased three!

This is one of my favorite pieces of hiking attire. It's light weight and has some stretch too it. The material does tend to pill a bit after a number of washings. The inside short is also nicely light weight. It does tend to ride up a bit but I think that's more a function of my body then the construction of the item. I will be taking this with me when I walk the Camino this fall.
