Nice fabric, comfortable shorts, not too short for adult women. Would like front pockets and maybe some jazzy colors. Fits to size.

i'm only giving this product a "good" rating right now because i haven't had the chance to wear it hiking. however, it fits great, has a lot of flexibility and i suspect it will perform excellently on the way up Mt. Washington this weekend.

Nice quality, fit a bit big, but not too big. Comfortable and nice length. I recommend this Skort.

Like the lightweight fabric and enjoy wearing the skort but it wrinkles way too much. More pockets and colors would be nice.

Very comfy, would be nice to have a couple more zip pockets a little bigger than the one.

Just didn't fit me correctly. Too snug in waist, but got the impression that the next larger size would be too big. I don't mind high waisted things at all, I like them to show off my waist to booty ratio, but this one made no sense.

I guess I'm in the minority here, based on other reviews. Columbia clothes are always well-made and quality is good. This particular item just didn't fit me very well. It's headed back to Zappos.

This is a very cute skirt, however, the shorts underneath ride up and are uncomfortable. I am 5'5" 116 lbs and got a size 4 and it was just slightly too small. In other brands I usually wear a size 2 but Columbia sizes differently.

I really wanted to love this skort and, initially, it fit and looked great from the outside. Then, when I walked around the shorts rode right up to my crotch. The shorts would not stay down and I am very thin, so I investigated the short design. The shorts on this skort have thigh bulges sewn in up high on the outer thigh (that bulges out if you do not have flesh in that area) and the legs of the short then taper smaller, to about the width of my mid-thigh. Thus, why they ride up on me. If they are doing this to me (5'8" 110 lbs), I can only imagine how they are fitting others. (I even ordered a larger size so they would appear a little longer on me.) Perhaps I got a defective skort. I am returning them.

Loved the fit, style, and longer length of this skort. However, the draw string, although functional, was quite awkward. If left untied it hung down to below the skirt bottom. If tied it made a weird bump in the front. I've tried on about 20 skort this summer, and this one would have been "it," if not for that string. If the waist hadn't fit a bit big, I would have just cut out the strings.

I had high hopes for this skort but it just didn't work for me. The short and skirt are joined by the zipper which caused the skirt portioned to bunch up in front. Made it look like it was gathered at the crotch. Perhaps I hust need a larger size or it may just be made for a taller person.

I liked this skort but am returning it because it doesn't have front pockets. Although it was cute and comfortable, another brand I bought was just as nice and had front pockets.

I specifically ordered this skort because it has a drawstring waist. I'm pretty thin, and it seems like everything is too big in the waist for me. The problem is the two points of the drawstring are several inches apart, not close together where it buttons as you would expect. So if you need to draw it up to tighten the waist, it pouches out in the front. Plus the string cut rather uncomfortably into the abdomen. Major design flaw to me, I sent it back. Also note, I usually wear a size 4 but ordered a 6 based on other reviews that it ran small. It does. Even the 6 was rather snug through the derriere, with the waist being overall bigger.

I really liked this skort. I loved the color. But it fit just a little tighter than I'd wanted (and I'd already ordered it one size up) plus it was shorter than I anticipated (which I'm sure is my own fault because it's probably on the website how short it is). So, I had to return it unfortunately.

I ordered this skort, along with the North Face Arise and Align Skort. I kept the North Face skort. Why? I preferred the smooth, no zipper, no snap waistband on the NF skort and it was several inches longer than the Columbia skort. I am 5’2” and the Columbia skort was a good 6 inches above my knee.

This design doesn't have adequate fabric to go over a sway back. Thus, the skirt puckers around the back waist. If you have a flat butt is should be fine.

I usually wear 6 or an 8. I ordered an 8 because you said it fit slightly smaller. It fit much smaller!

I received the skort today and loved it immediately except then I looked at the construction: the raw seam of the short part is what would be seen if the skirt blows up and the short is exposed. The nice "outside -seam" of the short is against the body. Is this how it is suppose to be? I am returning.

skort is too short and the pants underneath are tight.
