I have searched months for a jacket like this one. I excitedly opened my North Face package, pulled out the jacket, and was immediately impressed. The style and fit are just what I was hoping to find. I love how it keeps me dry. On very cold days, I wear a fleece underneath for a warmer feeling that is not binding. I love this product!

Awesome, lightweight jacket that finally doesn't stick to you or your underclothes in the rain... it is also breathable like advertised and for the needed 'extra' ventilation, the under arm zips do come in handy whilst staying active in the rain. Looking forward to being warm on my next dive trip, as i'm sure the wind resist of the jacket will make those long boat rides back from the dive, a lot more comfortable.

Decided to buy this jacket for running in the rain and it's great. Very warm, definitely waterproof so far. The only thing I don't like is that it is very loud:) For as funny as that sounds, the friction is so loud on the gortex fabric that I can hear it through what I'm listening to on my headphones, especially when the hood is up. The tightening capabilities of the hood are critically good for running in the rain. Great product, hardly need a layer under it and it's very light.

I bought this jacket for the rain. Overall it does a good job at repelling the rain but I think it's too small. I wear a medium in other jackets and they fit perfect but I have noticed that the goretex jackets run smaller. I also have a ski/snow goretex jacket that is a big snug. I just can't get a large because the sleeves would be way too long on me.

Just got this jacket - fits a bit long in the arms but I would rather have too long than too short. Apears to be really good quality with the inside having reinforced waterproofing on the seems.

I've worn my jacket as a spectator during a windy and raining soccer game... watched entire game in the pouring rain and jacket kept me completely dry! !i love the style and, although the sleeves are a little long, you can use the Velcro adjustments to keep sleeves at the right length.

I'm in the market for a new rain jacket and from past experience, you can't go wrong with Gore-tex! It seems to be getting harder and harder to find these days. I ordered this jacket in an XL hoping beyond hope it would fit. Alas, it did not even come close to zipping up around my size 18 torso. Just because a gal's bigger doesn't mean she doesn't want to stay dry in style! I am returning the jacket and will probably end up purchasing an inferior product that won't last as long only due to my size. I wish North Face would carry its extended sizes in all of their products!

I use this for everyday rain storms as well as take it on multi-day hiking trips. The coat is great, but the size is a little off. I usually wear a womens medium, but the back was a little tight so went for the large. The sleeves on both are a bit long, but you can velcro them to stay put.

Arm sleeves are a little long. The xs is a little big but I can wear stuff underneath. Overall very nice!

What's great: Keeps rain and wind out, super-light, scrunches super-small (no wrinkles), lots of pockets!! Interior 2 are nice and deep, one great for facial tissue pack and other side for used tissues, while exterior 2 are perfect for gloves. The adjustability for the hood is great for keeping it in the right place on my head, important for safety so I have full visibility while biking and turning my head back to check for cars.
Needs improving: The too-small brim is useless for keeping rain off my face. It needs to be lengthened, to be useful. I've had this jacket for 3 years, and last week I noticed in a few places that the waterproof inner liner has started to peel off. (those parts are now not rainproof) I'm so sad, because otherwise the rest of the jacket is highly functional and no other peeling. I'm going to contact North Face to ask if a fix of the liner is possible.

I wasn't sure about sizing so I ordered a small and medium. I'm 5 foot 5 inches and 120. The small fit me as it looks on the model in the picture. Slimming, fitted, skimming my butt. The sleeves almost completely cover my hands, though. I had planned to test out the waterproofness by standing in the shower with it but I'm skipping that since it has to be returned.

I love this rain jacket, however it runs small and I should have returned it for a larger size, but got sidetracked and waited too long. If you wear something bulky under the jacket (sweater) it's too tight and I ALWAYS wear a small. Otherwise, love the jacket and even the noise it makes as you move around.

This jacket is very cute and keeps you dry. I like how lightweight it is. It's a little tight at the bottom, but is still okay. My only real complaint are the zippers. They are really thin and feel cheap. They easily get caught. I am trying to be very cautious (too cautious) when zipping or unzipping the jacket. It's kind of annoying, and I will not be surprised if the zippers end up breaking way too soon. For how expensive the jacket is, that is pretty disappointing. I like this jacket, but I think there are probably better ones out there for a better price.

This is a great jacket, but the sleeves are out of proportion--very large and long. I've found that this is often the case with North Face jackets. The xs or s in other high priced sport jackets fit me nicely with sleeve size and length in proportion to the size of the jacket. I am 5'6" and 118 lbs. The extra small is a bit too tight for layering and the sleeves are large and long. The small will allow for layering but the huge long sleeves might be the reason for me to return it. This is a major design flaw. So sad.

The seams were all wet inside after a rain storm in this jacket - It is supposed to be waterproof but doesn't seem to be 100% waterproof. I was definitely dryer with this coat than without but was expecting for zero leakage at this price point.

I am 5'3" but short waisted. The waist hit me at my mid hip level. The sleeves were far too long and the wrist circumference was so large and the velcro closure so minimal that I couldn't close it snugly enough to keep the sleeve from slipping over my hand

I have the 2.5L rain wear jacket and love it, although it is too light. So I ordered this thinking it was going to be a little heavier considering it is $100 more. I ordered the medium as recommended through the sizing chart, although they recommended a small with my 2.5L, it was way too big (should have gotten a small). But the length was perfect, so I am assuming the small is going to be too short. The biggest problem I had with it was it was was to stiff and uncomfortable to move around it. Also, I ordered the grey with black writing as shown in the picture and I received a grey jacket with pink writing. Was hesitant on buying this because the old dryzzle jacket got horrible reviews, as the jacket was not even close to waterproof, unfortunately I will not have the chance to check the waterproofing. Will be sending back.

I really really wanted this jacket, as I am a jacket nut! but unless you have really long arms the sleeves will be touching you fingers I was soooo disapointed

I thought I was buying a premium rain jacket. I bought this jacket in February 2019. We had a few rain events in Southern California this week. I would say after 20 minutes of running around town in moderate rain I found My layers of clothing wet. Upon inspecting the jacket after 20-30 minutes of use. There was significant amount of moisture on the shoulders back and arms.I'm not sure how this is called a Gore-Tex jacket.
Now I have to take time to go to North face and get this jacket replaced.
