I am not sure how long shoes should last but I would hope a year. These lasted 6 months. The string broke about 5 months in and we dealt with it but now the velcro has come off. I have an 8 year old who is wearing this. previous shoes he would have the sole separate from the shoe. That has not been the issue with keen but this is definitely not up to standard.

These shoes wore out so quickly. I bought them hoping that they would be durable, but about a month into wearing, the velcro completely came apart and is unusable (same issue as others noted). The small bungees broke within a week of wearing. My kid is tough on shoes and I was hoping Keens would be of good enough quality to hold up, but they were not. These are not durable at all.

Becoming very disappointed with Keen shoes! We have always bought Keens for my son. The last 2 pairs we have had to return after a few weeks. The bungee cord is great in theory, but it broke after only 2 weeks of wearing. Would not recommend purchasing.

Poor quality for Keen brand product. The laces broke after 2-1/2 months and our son has probably worn them less than 20 days because he's been wearing his Keen sandals most of the summer. We have gone through tons of Keen sandals for our 2 boys and 2 girls over the years, but these shoes are not quality and are not worth the price paid. Don't bother!
