I bought this pair for next year a pair in a different color for this year. My son has been wearing these for a few years now and it seems Keen has changed their fit on these sandals. Again this specific pair is for next year so can’t speak specifically about this pair but I’m not completely satisfied with the other pair that I bought for this year.

Overall, the sandal was a great fit and looked good but the strap across the top rubbed my son's foot raw on the first day. He's had sandals that have done this before and it's torture after awhile, especially for long stretches. I am now trying to find a sandal without that strap, which is hard to find but there are a couple we are going to try out.

The shoes are fairly comfortable, but we bought it thinking it could be used for waterplay as well, and this has not been the case. The shoes get super stinky and cause blisters on the bottom of the foot. Will not be buying again, as I would go with a much better looking shoe if it's only for dry play.

Loved the way these shoes looked! My two year old however did not find them comfortable. He kept taking the shoes off and I wondered why. Upon inspection I seen the shoes were leaving marks on his little ankles. Too bad. They are going back.

Fit length-wise, could not get my son's (narrow) foot into the shoe!

I love Keen shoes for boys but these didn't meet Keen quality. They fit my son's narrow foot very well and look stylish but supportive. However, one of the straps broke after 2 months use. I've contacted Keen so hopefully they help but for now, I can't recommend these.
I'd also recommend:
New Balance, Stride Rite

There must be a design flaw with this shoe. Our 3 year old has now been through 3 pairs in 5 months as the straps break reliably after about 6 weeks of regular wear. We've bought Keens for years for our older kids, so we were surprised to have this many problems with their shoes. Why do we keep replacing them? Because our preschooler refuses to wear any other shoe.

My boys have worn Keens every summer for the last 5 years. We loved last years Seacamps. They were light weight, sat low around the ankle, and had less webbing, near the toes, for better ventilation. We were excited to receive this years version. We especially liked the color choices. Sadly, these Seacamp II are awful! Both of my boys had blisters on the bottoms of their feet and on the inside of their ankles after the first week of wearing them. This has never happened with Keens before. The quality is no where closed to what it used to be. Threads on the strap and velcro are coming off on all three of the pairs we bought (two Seacamps and one Whisper). We're so disappointed in Keens, I think we'll have to look for a new brand of water shoe next summer.
