These are great sandals...with a small problem. They made my kids' feet stink to high heaven! This is not a problem we have experienced with other sandals. They need to work on the foot bed material to mitigate this problem. I see Merrill has started using anti-bacterial materials.

These a great summer shoe for any kid on the go. My son wears these everywhere and says they are very comfortable. Love that they can be easily washed and dry quickly. I do feel they run a little narrow though because my son has a narrow foot and they just fit. So maybe if your child has a wider foot these wouldn’t be a great option. We have had other styles of keens that are wider.

We've been very happy with these shoes for our 4 year old. Very durable, as you'd expect from Keen. The only annoyance is that they smell very quickly (it's a 4 year old boy wearing them, so somewhat expected). We wash them occasionally and have had no issues with sticking them in the wash, but they go back to smelling a few wears later. If they weren't washable and durable this would be a big problem, but as is, just an annoyance!

Keen are fabulous sandal/sneaker for kids. Their toes are covered and durable enough for playground fun. I’ve bought several pair because of the quality and comfort for our granddaughter.

Keens are always the best summer shoes for kids! They are durable and last for years. I love that they are machine washable and my son is able to wear them into lakes, rivers, oceans, puddles, etc. They dry fast too. I love that they have backs to them and the toe is rubber to prevent injuries.

This is a very nice shoe but I thought it was like the other Keen shoes and its more of a water shoe. I will return.

My kid is hard on shoes. He rides his bike, climbs on everything, gets in the sand and the mud... Keen are the only shoes we’ve ever owned that actually make it to the end of a season without being totally destroyed. Bought these for summer as last years pair no longer fit, so far so good! I used the size chart to measure his feet and the fit is spot on.

I bought these shoes as a gift for our Grandson's 5th Birthday. Last summer he had similar Keens in a bright multi-color style. This year he needed something a bit more "grown-up" looking, so the taupe and red color was perfect. They feel comfortable with or without socks as you would expect Keen shoes to be. With Zappos generous free shipping both ways, I was able to order two sizes so that I was sure to have the right size for him to keep on his Birthday, and the other pair was quick and easy to return.

Excellent summer sandals for my boys.

My toddler wears an XW shoe, so finding comfy sandals is always a chore. These are my go to for him, and fit his chubby feet quite well. They slip in a bit narrow, but make sure to expand the ankle strap and the top cord all the way to let it out for the wide foot set. He’s in them all day at daycare with no complaints!

Great summer shoe for any kid. They held up well through very hard play. My son wore them every day. I felt they ran a little small so I’d go half a size larger next time.

I bought these for my very active four year old. These will be a great addition to his summer wardrobe. They are very light and protect his feet very well. I wanted something that would help his feet breathe like a sandal but protect his toes the way a gym shoe would. These do the trick. I’m very happy with my purchase and will repurchase in the future.

These work fantastically and my son loves them. They are shorter top to bottom (from foot bed to straps that go across the top of the foot, mid foot) so they work better than some other ones that have too much room, my son's foot doesn't slide around in them.

My active toddler loves them. Easy to put on, comfortable and look great. Perfect for the summer heat.

I got these for my 5 year old son. He LOVES them. He wears them running around and into the water. They are great for hiking and rocky shores and just hanging out in the back yard. They are also super sturdy so will last all summer and still be in great shape for his younger brother. They don't fade or fray and hold up really well.
