Finally found a comfortable polo shirt that fits my athletic build. The ribbed collar is a nice touch.

I sized up after reading some reviews and didn't really have to. I wear this at work as a doctor and get compliments all the time on how sharp, yet comfortable, the shirt looks.
Comfortable enough to fall asleep in, yet nice enough for work- it doesn't get better than that!!

I train and wanted a polo that I could wear that didn't look like a sack on me. Was afraid the sleeves might be too long which only works for cuts with heavy drop shoulders cut.
The sleeves hit mid Bicep for me and although I only have 15-1/2" arms, they fill the sleeve without pulling.
Nice sharp lines and shows off traps and v physique well.
Medium would have been a bit too over the top for a man my age with kids. For younger guys with my stats... Sure go for it. :)
I am 6' and 200 around 16% bf. 34.5" waist. 44" chest
Wide shoulders.
Nice shirt and great cut. Large is perfect!

I love these polos. The sleeves are not long just like I like it. I now have 5 of them. Looking forward to buying some more.

Love this shirt. Bought the fluorecent yellow and orange. For a tight fit I bought the small despite that I am 64and 210 lbs. Fits perfect. Would definately buy more in other colors. Hope you restock!

Great feeling shirt, fits well for men with broad shoulders and bigger build, shirt breathes and allows you room to move around without feeling constricted.
I'm tempted to buy in other colors.

The old fit was not for athletic types. The large was just to big the medium to small. With the new updated fit a large is perfect for me (and what i typically wear in most clothes). Thanks for the change!

I have been wearing the Under Armour performance polos in various colors for nearly 10 years now. Nothing has ever beaten the level of comfort. I did have to go up a size with the new, slimmer fit, despite actually losing weight. Size consistency has become an issue with Under Armour shirts across the board over the past few years, unfortunately. But, the quality is second to none. The material does its job and is incredibly comfortable and does not fade. I only wish the price would stop going up in $5 increments every few years.

UA Performance polo is fantastic! Everything you would expect from a quality shirt. The size is perfect fit if you arent built for the common wide loose fitting polos. If you are slim/slender built, you will be completely satisfied with the shirt.

As previous reviews say and it is noted when you go look at sizing information, the sizing has changed. I probably own 40+ of these Polo shirts and the size of the current design is slimmer than previous. I don't have an athletic build(5'11" 175-180 lbs) and previously wore the Small Loose and Medium Regular Polos of the older designs, I just got this recent performance polo in the Royal Blue Medium Loose and it fits great, no issues with the neck line and not too baggy at all. Very professional, I wear these to work ALL the time, I don't think there's a day I'm not wearing one.

Shirts are nice and definitely high quality. The sleeves were a little short for my taste. I have another UA polo in XXL, and both are "Loose" fit. These had a shorter sleeve and overall, feel about a size smaller than the one I used as the basis of my purchasing decision. I ordered two of these and they are both the exact same in feel and fit, so I'm sure it's not a quality control issue. Although I won't order these specific shirts again, I'll be ordering another UA shirt or 6 when I figure out how to get longer sleeves and a looser "Loose" fit. I think a phone call to the world famous Zappos customer service department is in my near future.

I own an older UA polo and really liked it, so I decided to have a go at this one and see how I liked it. Three of these later, and they're my favorite polo, hands down. For reference, I prefer my shirts to be fitted, and while I usually wear a medium, I've learned that polo's at that size tend to run a bit bigger on me than I would like. I'm an "athletically lean" 180 lbs. on a 6'4" frame. My chest measures between 39" and 41", and the small is very comfortably fitted through the chest and under my arms. The sleeves fall at about the middle of my bicep when flexed and fit juuuuust snug enough that they don't squeeze my arms but also don't flap about like wings. The shirttail falls just a bit shorter than most on my lanky torso, but manages to stay tucked in really well. This is where I really like these shirts: while they fit more snugly around the chest area, they are definitely more like a UA "loose fit" around my core.
This shirt is definitely tailored for a more athletic "triangular" shape torso (wider shoulders, narrower waist), so if you desire a fuller fit, I recommend a size up; if, however, you prefer a more snug fit, go with your normal size or a size down.
Hope this helps a bit.

This is a revision to my previous review below since I can't edit or change my review.
For some reason, I put my weight as 160lbs, that was my weight a number of years ago.
I am NOT 160lbs. I am 175lbs, 5'8" and I got a size MEDIUM shirt and it fits like a dream.
I just didn't want anyone making a decision on my size and weight and it was incorrect. It is a "Performance Polo" and the sizing definitely reflects that.
I wear this to my office where i'm constantly moving around and I play golf in it and it's awesome for my frame.
Oh yeah, if you're wearing the polo untucked, it is a little long for someone my height. I only wear it tucked in so this doesn't matter to me, but if you're planning on wearing this untucked, then it does run 5-6" below my waist.
Other than that, I LOVE THIS POLO!!!!

HUGE, awesome update from the previous versions! I hated how the prior version's sleeves would hang down to my elbows and the torso felt too snug on the sides, to me.
This version fixes both of those. I am a kind of thick/muscular guy with big arms and bigger legs. I LOVE how the new version has shorter sleeves that hit just around the middle of my biceps. I feel that it creates a better look and feels like it doesn't ever get in the way like the prior version did.
Much better! Big improvement!

I got a few of these for Christmas, and I was immediately nervous as I had read about the "updated" fit. However it was all for naught, as the shirts fit perfectly. Nice and light, perfect for the office or the golf course. I will definitely be adding a few more of these to my closet.

So I noticed a lot of reviews on the new "updated performance fit" of people complaining about the shirts being way too tight etc. I 100% agree that a Small sized shirt now fits tighter than a small sized shirt fit in the older "classic" style...so... now I buy a medium :).
I wear medium in most brands but when I started buying UA "Loose" fit clothing I had to buy small. I'm 5'7 170 (athletic build) and the medium of the older style shirts fit well around my chest and arms, but the waist and length were WAY too big/long and would bunch up when I tucked them or look like a dress untucked. Small fit me perfect but was a bit tight around my arms and not as free in the shoulders (which you want in golf apparel).
The new "updated performance fit" Small now is too tight yes, I agree 100% that this runs tighter than the ones before. BUT after learning my lesson the first time, I know order anything I see that says "updated performance fit" as a medium (which i think runs true to size, where as the older style just ran big and was what we got used to). I think it's unfair to rate these shirts 1-3 stars simply because you ordered the size you wore in the older style, and didn't account for the fact this is a different fit which is explained in the details.
That being said, I think UA should do more to make that point clear given the amount of negative reviews related to fit. Maybe anything with the new "updated performance fit" should be considered "regular" fit and the older style be considered "Loose". You can still find the older style in the outlets and stores.
Hope that helps!

I purchase this polo regularly for my husband. It is great because he loves to wear black but can still stay cool on sunny days. Even though it is an Under Armour top he can still wear it to the office and then continue his day after while still being comfortable. And most importantly, Zappos is selling it, which means if you don't like it just send it back and one of the really nice representatives can help you find something more to your liking.

These shirts are great. I'm the general manager for a construction company in Texas and I am outside a lot. It's always hot here and I wear these shirts on a daily basis.

Just what i wanted, dry up really fast, when you sweat a lot, there is the difference with other shirts. No odor and no sticky.

These Under Armour polos are my husband's favorite. He has them in several solid colors plus one or two with stripes. The fabric is really nice - it looks dressy when needed but also has athletic performance traits (wicking etc.) so it's good for outdoors. He doesn't golf very often but these are perfect for Little League coaching, BBQ, etc. He wears an XXL and it fits true to size with no shrinking in the wash. The white color is thick enough not to require an undershirt, which isn't always the case with other brands. I highly recommend these!
