Got these on sale. was replacing an older pair of Asics. They are just okay they fit I wear an 8W but don't feel they have as much support as my older pair. They will do for a couple of months.

Overall these are okay, but the back of the shoe is too low - it kept slipping off of my ankle even just while walking. (The shoe fit otherwise, so I know it isn't a sizing issue.) I compared it to another average running shoe and it is much lower. I'm disappointed that I will have to return them.

I have a wide foot, so it is always great to be able to get a 9W instead of having to upsize. The shoe fit; however, I just felt they were not high quality. I was looking to replace my last pair of Asics, and these were much lighter weight and did not offer as much cushion. Depending on your application for the shoes, that may not be an issue, but I do some training where there is jumping and lunging and squatting; so my old bones need a little more cushion or a shoe that is more substantial and supportive. However, for the price, they have a nice fit, seem well made and as I said would probably make a good walking or everyday shoe.

Did not like the shoes at all. Will stick with Asics Gt 3000. These shoes hurt my feet. I gave them away.

These are definitely undersized. I bought three pairs of tennis shoes, all the same size, but different manufacturers. This Asics GEL-Contend 2 was definitely not true to size, not only length, but width. And compared to the New Balance and Saucony, the materials seem poor.

So disappointed in that I always purchase Asics in size 9. Ordered 2 new pair and this particular one was at least a size 8 even though marked 9. The other pair fit perfect.

I actually didn't like these and at the end of the day I couldn't wait to get them off my feet. I bought them because the reviews seemed great but they just weren't for my feet, maybe it was the shape didn't match my feet?

The fit was good but I'm disappointed in the lack of comfort in these shoes. I've owned Asics before but feel like these need to be broken in and after a few weeks, they're still not feeling better, still stiff with a too firm inner sole. I assumed that, being a good brand, they'd feel great from the start and realize I should've tried them out indoors before keeping them. I only use them for non-sports use since they're no where near comfortable enough for running. Very disappointed.

I have been wearing Asics for the past year to teach Jazzercise. If I had tried these on in the store, I don't think I would have bought them. The shoe is very flat inside with little stability or padding. I bought the 9.5 since reviews had it running normal to small and it's a bit big. They fit about how I imagine the box they came in would fit.

Was really hoping I could have fit these sneakers, as I need to find something comfortable and supportive. Based on prior reviews and being measured at a local shoe store (but not having my size in stock), I ordered these online. Based on the size recommended by the shoe store, these are to big length wise (leave a good inch between my toe and the front of the shoe) and only fit "comfortably" across the top of my foot if I do not wear socks (which isn't an option). They are immediate returns. :(

I was so excited for these, I truly was, as I heard they were fantastic for leg/knee pain, but after wearing for a few months, my knees are worse. I wear my Croc mary janes and have far less pain and can walk for much longer than I can in these shoes. I'm so disappointed.

I was delighted when I first these cross trainers, but after less than 3 months of wearing them to work out at my health club only 2x/week, the sole is starting to peel away. Worn for their purpose less than 2 dozen times - Likely too late to get a credit or refund. I'll buy my next pair at a local merchant's who will stand by the quality of the shoes they sell!

This shoe is not wide. the box says it is wide, but the label in the shoe indicates it is normal width. I checked on the Asics website, as did the Zappos person, who kindly sent me another pair. The second pair was the same. It has been a waste of time. I wish I could say otherwise, I really like Zappos.

This shoe is listed on the Asics site as a running shoe, but I wanted it for kickbox and training workouts. For me, it doesn't have enough padding for high impact workouts and it has more of a back and forth feel (running) than a training shoe. I'm returning it. It's cute, though.
