I have a wide foot and it's so hard to find a great shoe that fits well, has enough cushioning and support and at the same time looks good. This shoe has it all. The item descriptions and multiple views on all the shoes are a great help because I have a flatter foot and cannot get something that says 'for the over pronator''. Plus they have many choices in wide widths you can't find anywhere else. Zappos rocks, the free shipping/returns, the selection and unbelievably quick turnaround time on refunds can't be beat. The whole experience is hassle-free!

I am an avid Jazzerciser so my workout sneakers must give good support. I replace my sneakers every 6 months and then wear the "old" ones for casual attire. I really like these sneakers and will probably replace them with the same. They do seem to run a bit narrow because I must wear the lighter weight ankle socks. Another bonus was that these shoes were on sale. I don't spend over my budget for sneakers.

Love these shoes! Comfortable and fit well. I was able to wear them right out of the box with no problems. I often have troubles finding shoes as I wear a 11W in women shoes and need a wide toe box, but I had no troubles with these shoes.

Ordered 2 other brands of shoes and these in a single order (Love you Zappos!). I have very high arches and for the price these were the best fit. Excellent support and a roomy toe box. Heels are a good fit as well - no slippage.

These shoes are very comfortable and the fit is perfect. I thought I should go to a store to try on my walking shoes, and I am pleasantly surprised that these fit better than ones I have tried on and they were also much cheaper than the pair I got at a mall. I use arch supports and they fit well in the shoes when I remove the inner soles.

These are the single greatest sneakers that I have put on my feet in about 30 years. They fit perfectly. They do not hurt or pinch because they are too small nor drag my socks down into the shoe because they are too big. I love these so much that I bought a second pair.

Wonderful! Lightweight, comfortable, and nicely made. Just remember to add 1/2 size to your regular size when ordering athletic shoes. Otherwise, with your socks, they will be too short.

These shoes are awesome! They are beautiful and comfortable. I am very satisfied.

I got the original Contend January 27, 2014 in Onyx and now I am getting 2 additional pairs. My DPM has seen this shoe with many patients; he has traced the insole and sent my $400.00 orthotics to be recovered in Spenco foam and fit the Contend pattern. Dr. said I couldn't get out of my walking boot (4 months and 3 weeks, (No surgery, yea!)) until I got Asics or Saucony running shoes and the thick Thorlos socks (broke 3rd met). I couldn't get to the Zappos website fast enough in January...so many pretty shoes!

These are pretty great. Probably close to if not the most comfortable sneaker I've owned. I have a wide foot podiatrist tried to sell me a pair for double the price, and they just weren't as comfortable. I looked at them and told him they were so ugly I wasn't going to wear them anyway-then I found these. Great toe box, feel airy. I'm not a runner, so I can't offer anything there, but they look like you could (I'd need to be chased to run) Great support Great fit Really comfortable

ABSOLUTELY love them! I have wide short feet and these fit perfectly -have used Easy Spirits for years and am glad I tried the Asics. Very comfortable and love the color!

These Asics rock! I couldn't be happier with this purchase. The shoes are sized accurately (which is becoming increasingly uncommon), and they fit perfectly. For comfort, I'd find them hard to beat. For support, if you're looking for a serious, high-stress running or workout shoe, this probably isn't it - but for average workouts and general use, it's an excellent sneaker. They weigh next-to-nothing, and as a further bonus, they also look great! And of course Zappos.com's service always beats everyone's.

I am happy with the fit and look of the shoes and I am keeping them. I would like a new shoe wardrobe but my misshapen feet and ankles make that difficult! The pairs that I am returning were uncomfortable and and appear to have a problem due to my poor ankles and my feet.

I'm a middle-aged walker who walks 2 to 2.5 miles every morning. I normally wear an 11, but have found that I need to size up during exercise. These ASICS are wonderful! The arch support is pretty decent considering the price, even though I did replace the insoles with my Powerstep insoles which I wear to keep plantar fasciitis away. These shoes fit me fine - not too tight, not too loose. The colors are bright without being obnoxious.

Excellent shoe for low mileage, neutral runner. Nice and light, good support. Looks good. Order up one size from regular shoe size. This is a quirk with Asics shoes.

I absolutely LOVE the Asics Gel Contend Shoe so much I plan to get them in every color. And Zappos is AMAZING in every way!

I had a different pair of Asics before, and I was hesitant to get a different version. I was very pleased with these shoes. They are very supportive for the gym and wearing while I do errands. I plan on sticking with this shoe for a long time!

I like the shoes. They are comfortable and I noticed that my ankles were not giving me problems when I started running in them. The fit was true to size. After I had already ordered this shoe, I went into a Marshall's and found the exact same shoe for the cost.

Finally I have found comfortable sneakers. I have been wearing Nikes that don't feel quite right for years and decided there must be a better pair for me. I tried 6 different pairs from Zappos (including more Nikes and some Rykas) and only these felt perfectly comfortable. The ASICS GEL-Excite in the exact same size felt so much tighter and less comfortable. These are lightweight, fit well (I had to get a wide) and look good. In some other shoes, I found that by getting a shoe big enough for my right foot, it would be too big for my left. But this pair feels great even though my two feet are different enough for me to notice the fit difference in most shoes. I got my regular size but in a wide, and that worked out to be just right.

I love my Asics and their price. I work out 3-4 times a week and need to replace them about every 8 months or so. Good arch support and great fit.

These fit great. I wear a small size and most shoes don't even come in my size so whenever I find shoes that fit I am grateful. The last shoes I found were really expensive so I am happy about the price of these.

These were a hit right out of the box! They provide good support and a comfortable toe box. I love the colors, too!

I had to exchange my shoes that had been a gift. It was the easiest process I had had in a long time!! I simply told the rep what size I needed and they were shipped immediately. I had 30 days to ship the wrong size back, tho I shipped them the next day. Wonderful customer service!!

I love Asics but always go a half size larger with them. These shoes fit great and are perfect for lifting weights, basic cardio, and bootcamp classes. Love!
