This hat is a good fit for someone with a big head like me....with minimal working in. After 5 months of semi daily not harsh use, the brim is starting to separate from the hat. I'm disappointed in this....I've always liked North Face hats because they are the only ones that fit my huge noodle.

My old (purchased 2018) Trucker hats from TNF fitted like gloves, now faded from abuse, sweet and salt water, still in one piece. Purchased 2 different colors thinking 1st one was a lemon, but no, the new ones, although seem to retain TNF quality, fit quite differently; with the mesh part fitting baggy around the head and overall hight bigger than before. Quite Unfortunate!

Honestly, an awesome hat. I saw it and bought it immediately. And then I sweat in it, and it got stained, right along the bottom of the brim, at the base of where your head goes. Washed it 3 times and no luck. Maybe that's just me, but my other hats don't get stained doing activities for which they are designed.

After a week of wear the cap has usual staining from perspiration.

I have what I would consider a normal sized head and I had to adjust the strap so that only 2 of the buttons were locked in. I could wear the hat this way, I just did not like the way it looked so I opted to return it. Hat was of good quality just wish it was a little larger.

Bought this hat for casual wear. It's great hat. Very comfortable and breathable. Love the design as well. I get a lot of compliments on it. The issue I have is that the website screen shots of the image was misleading. I purchased the asphalt grey/sequoia red. The sequoia red is almost a very dark copper. No red at all. I was very disappointed.

I ordered this hat as a gift for my girlfriend, who really liked the style of the hat, but she also really liked the color combination (Asphalt Grey/Sequoia Red). However, while she loves the fit of the hat, the red color is pretty much a dark brown in person and the grey is closer to black - far darker than in the photos on the site. I know colors vary to some extent from what you see online, but in this case, you can't even tell the color combination is grey and red, as it appears to be almost black and brown. It's a cute hat and she is ordering another one in the black/white combo so there should be less of a surprise on color.

I purchased this hat in the Asphalt Grey/Sequoia Red and I'm a little disappointed as the color of the writing is not red at all. It's more of a dark maroon or eggplant. I also purchased one in Brick House Red and that color is slightly different than what is shown online too. I've taken a picture that shows it to be similar, but in person it's a more faded color and not vibrant at all like the picture on the website. The other thing that is different is the writing under TNF logo. One reads, "California Heritage Since 1966," and the other reads, "Fine Alpine Equipment 1966." The website photos show, "Berkley, California." These are all small grievances, not enough to make me want to send them back, as they are still cool looking hats, but I felt it important to note that the color and writing does vary.

I wear a LG/XL flex fit hat. This hat barely fits adjusted to the last peg on the adjustment strap!

I was disappointed the conquer blue hat I ordered wasn't the blue pictured but I like the hat.

The color online is not what you will get in the mail with the specific hat I mentioned above.

Thought I don't sweat a lot but this hat is very fast in collecting sweat stains that do not wash out !

I have used this hat for about a month. It has already collected lots of sweat stains that does not wash out. The color has already faded leaving a "bleach stain" look. I have a North Face Photobomb trucker hat that I have used heavily for years. This one didn't hold up to a month of light use. Severely disappointed in this hat.

Preface this with the fact that I do sweat a lot, but... This was the second one I bought because the same thing happened to the first so I figured it was a fluke. See the pic... this was after one use. Going all the way back to Little League to present day, I have never had a hat stain and fade when I wore it... no matter how wet with sweat it got. I have tons of NF gear and have always loved the quality so this is a surprise... still waiting to hear back from customer service.

The hat I received had very sharp edges near the ear. I had to return it. I’ve had other North Face hats that were comfortable. For some reason, this hat was actually painful on the ears.

The mesh is very cheap and doesn't hold form at all. The materials used feel very cheap. Very disapointed. Hat should be valued under 5$.

The pictures online DO NOT match the hat I received. The asphalt grey pictured online has dark grey/black mesh and the one I received is light grey.

Very disappointed. Hat looks great but fit horrible. I gave it away. I wear a 7 3/4 fitted.

Very disappointed in my recent purchase of a replacement of old Mudder Trucker hat. I have a relatively small head for a man, but I finally found the perfect had about 3 years ago--The North Face Mudder Trucker. That hat is now worn out, and I have purchased several others for friends and family, but now, when I went to buy a replacement it turns out it doesn't fit at all--completely different hat. I'm extremely disappointed and will not be purchasing any more until they return to the style/fit that worked for me (which I believe they had around 2016-2018).

I used to love this style hat but now every one doesn't fit as it did before. The hat sits too high and the fit to no longer comfortable. It's incredibly frustrating as I have now bought three in the new style recently hoping one would fit as the old hats did. Until the fit is returned back to the old style I'll hold off on purchasing another.

The color of the hat in the picture may not be what you are getting! We ordered (according to the picture) an all light gray hat, showed up black. When we called customer service the girl was VERY rude and UNHELPFUL. She reassured us we had gotten the right hat and kept saying to us "I'm not sure what you want me to do". Also, we needed this for vacation and we're leaving in two days so no time to return and buy new, she didn't care! So North Face, please do as I asked your customer service lady to (besides she wouldn't pass anything along, told me to write an email) UPDATE YOUR PHOTOS TO SHOW THE CORRECT COLORS, STOP MISLEADING CONSUMERS!!!! See pictures below of what "we ordered" and what we received!!

Very small, had to give it away! I bought many hats in the past and this is the first that doesn't fit.

I have no idea why the unusually low profile of this product isn't mentioned anywhere in these reviews. The design flaw so blatantly obvious. I'm just assuming that these reviews were submitted by employees. Also, i do not have one of those massive heads.

I really wanted to love this hat. I been using North Face gear/clothes since 2000, and everything been great. Great equipment and clothes last forever. This hat, which I bought online, the material around the bottom of the hat, where your ear is. It's really rough. I know your ear not suppose to touch it, but I cut my ear so many time just from put on and off the hat. I believe I just received a bad hat. I love the good, and it's great, beside the cutting of my ears.

The hat was poorly constructed with threading along the seems. The fit is small for a trucker hat. Looks great in photo but real life feels like a trucker hat for women.
