I got the men's hat because I liked the fit of it better for me. Tried on the women's hats, but just wasn't what I wanted. I've taken it hiking and camping and it has performed well in every circumstance. Planning on taking it to the beach as well, and I'm sure it'll work wonderfully.

Used it all day in Yosemite- head stayed pretty cool and hat stayed out. I'm in between sizes, so the L was slightly too large but comfortable

It's exactly what i was looking for. Light, comfortable, breathable. The drawstring detaches too, which is a cool little feature cuz it can be replaced. Not something i would've thought of, but i like it. Brim is good width, color is exactly as pictured.
