While I agree with the other reviews who said this version of the Tide is not the same as the Orthaheel original, it is still a very good flip flop. I have very high arches, had foot surgery, and still suffer from PF. I also have a pair of the original Orthaheels (now old, worn out, and relegated to the "garden" because they've gotten so stained). I get what others are talking about...it is not quite the same. (Shoe companies do this...the original Skechers Go Walks were still the best version, no matter how many revamps Skechers tries to come up with...and they never admit that they got it right the first time. LOL.) Still, I like this shoe...a lot! It still has good support and it's still cushy. The toe post doesn't bother me - wore them right out of the box to walk down the street to the mailbox! Time will tell if it holds up as well as the original has.

I loved the look of this shoe. However, if you have very flat feet, then this is probably not the shoe for you. I found the arch support so high that it was extremely uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the shoes are going back.

I wear these all the time. These fit as others do. The cork color option does have gold specks in the cork finish on strap just so you know. I like the cork option but wish they had a nice, beige option too.

I wear Vionic Tides almost all the time so these were replacements for ones I had worn out. They fit the same as all other Tide IIs that I have.

I bought a pair of Tide ll flip flops last year n a size 8. They fit perfectly. I ordered another pair this year in a size 8 and they were way too small. The length and width were easily a full size off. Putting the old 8 and the new 8 side by side, you could easily see that it was definitely not the same fit. I returned them and tried again with a size 9. The 9 fits (and looks like) like last years 8. Overall, I really like the shoes. The arch support is good and they are sturdy. You need to wear them around the house for a few days as just like last year, they are not comfortable out of the box, at least not for me. After that, it's all good. So, you may need to size up a size, and give yourself a couple of days to get the straps loosened up a bit.

I bought these for the warmer weather. I am permitted to wear these to work so I can wear them all day long and they really do well. They have nice arch support and I feel pretty sturdy in them. I have over pronation when I stand/walk (meaning I place weight on the outsides of my feet) these shoes are perhaps not the best for that as I catch myself every now and again rolling outwards. They are probably amazing for under pronation (rolling towards inside of feet) though. Thats the ONLY reason I gave them a 4 - which may not be really fair as an orthopedic cant always be everyone to everyone....FYI all this in mind I find them so nice that I will be ordering another pair!

These sandals are the best ones I have ever worn. They provide arch support that prevents my feet from hurting even after hours of wear. My rheumatologist recommended them to me because my arches were hurting so badly.

These flip flops only come in whole sizes so I ordered a half size down [I ordered a 6 when I usually wear a 6.5]. The overall length of the sandal was correct for my foot. However, the placement of the arch did not feel right and the material between the toes was too tight. In addition, the placement of the material between the toes is set back too far. I do not have long toes and there's too much room between the tips of my toes and the front of the sandal. I decided not to try these in a 7 because I feel that the way this sandal is proportioned, it would not be right.

I have been wearing Vionics since they were Orthoheel. By far the Tide II is probably the most comfortable and supportive Vionic there is. Because of plantar facitis and fallen arches, this brand is all I wear....summer sandals, winter shoes/boots and slippers. I will continue to wear them until someone can equal what Vionic does. I did notice when the company went from Orthoheel to Vionic, the arch support is not as good, not bad, but not the same. I wear a 10 medium and the Tide II fits well. I have no complaints about the materials, these wear forever. As a matter of fact I still have 2 pairs of Tide I. The enclosed flat shoes need a touch more support.

Too much of a good thing! The insane arch support felt good initially, but after a couple hours, it feels like there's a tennis ball under my foot. Going back. Cute design for a comfort flop, though!

I love this shoe! I do feel as if the arch support has maybe faded a bit or just wasn't as high as some of the other styles. I have had these shoes for about a year now and love them. When I put on my other Vionics they seem to have higher arches. I don't know if that is because I wear this pair so much more or not. But I can wear these shoes all day and not be in pain! Absolute miracle shoes for me!

These would be great, but they run really wide. Not a medium width. Great arch support.

I have two pairs of these and really like this sandal. My older pair seems to have more support than the newer pair. I have gotten these very wet and they dry nicely. My feet are narrow and I wish there were two options of fit similar some of the shoes.

I bought these over a month ago wore them on vacation I love the support they gave but they don't give much and they cut into my toe. I am hoping they will stretch alittle this summer cause you can walk all day in a flip flop and have no pain!!

I have been wanting to try a pair of Vionic sandals for a while so I finally got a pair. They are a quality product and very comfortable. My only complaint would be that after wearing them for a while they turn white--almost like a powder covers them. The pair I bought was black and I am not sure why this happens. I have many black rubber sandals and this does not happen..

I thought I would never wear "flip flops" again until I found these sandals. I wear the Tide sandals in the house in the winters of Wisconsin. I have problems with my arches and therefore my back. I tried several kinds of arch support shoes and inserts I LOVE VIONICS. I have several pair of flats sandals sneakers and low heels.

I do love these sandals however I am a bit disappointed on how wide they really are. I bought 3 pairs and the black ones are wider than the other 2 which is strange as well. I have flat feet and planter fasciitis so the arch support is wonderful. Just wish they were a bit more narrow. I am wondering now if I had a half size smaller that would have made up for it but they don't come that way.

IDK what's up but I've gotten these same flip flops, the Tide (maybe not Tide II?) in the past before they were called Vionic Orthoheel (just Orthoheel). They fit great and held up well. This is the second pair I've tried recently and they are just sooo loose and it feels - to me - like your feet are sliding around. I have wide feet and they still feel huge in the strap area. Cute color and otherwise great arch support from this brand. Back they go.

This is my third pair of Vionic Tide II sandals. I wear them everyday in lieu of slippers inside the house as the arch support is excellent. I also wear them out as summer sandals, however, they are very basic looking in terms of style. I highly recommend these shoes, as they are durable and comfortable and the arch support is very significant and perfectly placed in the shoe (some arch supports are off and don't quite fit the foot where they should). If you have issues with flat feet these are an A+ in my opinion. I hope they never stop making them!

These are very cute and I wish they worked for me. Much as I love Vionic, especially for the arch support, I just can't wear any that don't have the Velcro straps. Really wanted these as most flips don't have the support but just too wide for me. Darn.

I had to return the first pair of these sandals due to improper fit. They were much too large but when I received one size smaller the fit was much better. The arch in these sandals are great and feel comfortable.

The arch support was great, but it did not feel secure on my foot. It seemed too wide and the strap too loose unfortunately. I really wanted these shoes to work!

It's nice to be able to wear flip-flops again! I got it in my regular size (9 medium) and it fit very well. Has good arch support and the design is actually designed to fit a foot! Wide enough for support but not so wide they look like clown shoes. The downside is that they do not fit comfortably (at least for me) out of the box. I did have to wear them around to acclimate my feet to them. Also, the part that goes between the toes did abrade my skin a bit. I guess I've toughened up since I started wearing them as they are OK now. If you are looking for a basic beach sandal with good arch support, this one is worth a try. Your mileage may vary.

I found this shoe to be wide and with a strap that was very loose. Otherwise it seems like it would be very comfortable.A review of the High Tide noted that that version was narrower so I ordered it to try. It has a much better fit for what I consider my fairly normal foot. The strap is a tiny bit loose but workable. I'm keeping the High Tide and returning these.

Not as supportive as the original Tide, still it is better than anything else. Left a blister between my toes. The original Tide never did this.
