I really liked this shoe. It has the best arch support I have found in this type of shoe. I am considering buying it in other colors.

I wasn't sure about these shoes, but they were a nice fit. I wear a 7N and the 7 fit perfectly. Thank you Zappos!

Finally, orthotics in a flip-flop! You can definitely feel the arch support. I have orthotics for my daily shoes, so have no trouble with these shoes. If you never have worn orthotics before, you definitely should heed the manufacturer's advice and wear these shoes just for a short time and gradually increase up, or your legs and feet might be sore. Thank you so much -- I love these shoes!

I have been wearing Vionic sandals exclusively since buying a pair at my podiatrist's office many years ago. I have high arches and need the support or else regular sandals cause a lot of pain. I love these, have had many pairs. My caveat is on size: I am a 7 in most shoes because of wide forefoot issues. I really only need a 6 in Vionic sandals. It is not always the case for their closed shoes, but just an FYI if you are getting them for the first time, the sandals run large.

These were recommended to me when I hurt my tendon. With a fallen arch, I find these to be comfortable. They do run large, so go down a size. Also, I've found that the width varies. My foot is narrow; some pairs I have had to send back because they are just too wide to even stay on.

I had to start wearing orthotics a few years ago due to a foot injury. The problem for me was when summer came and I like to wear sandals and flip flops, so I did and it only prolonged my recovery by having no support. My sister turned me on to these and they were a life saver. Nothing will replace your custom orthotics, but these really are great for going to the pool, beach, or just running around. It was just impractical for me to put on shoes with orthotics for a trip to the pool, etc. These gave me the support that I needed to help in my recovery. I recommend this shoe highly for such occasions. Expensive, yes, but worth every penny. I am now out of my custom orthotics, but still wear these. I typically wear and 8.5, but this seems to run small, 8 was too small but 9 fit perfectly, so go on the larger side for this shoe.

I wear an 8½AA. I ordered an 8 based on other reviews and due to the fact I have narrow feet. I have bilateral plantar fasciitis which were injected two weeks ago. These shoes fit very well and are comfortable. They provide very good arch support! I do not feel like I need to break them in. Zappos provided super quick shipping. Thanks, Zappos!

As a slave to fashion who has plantar fasciiitis, I have always struggled with flip flops. These fit the bill perfectly. Very supportive and super comfortable. And the patent black makes them quite cute too! Very happy.

I ordered these shoes because I saw them on someone else and noticed they had more arch support and shape to the footbed than average flip flops. They seem to fit very true to size. I am an 81/2 medium width. I do notice they feel a little chunky or heavy, but it is not enough to make them uncomfortable. I think they are great to wear out and about casually, but I also wear them around the house to help my feet and back.

These are very comfortable and stylish sandals. It is easy to adjust to the design of the Orthaheel and are made of quality materials. I have a wide toe area and found this sandal to provide plenty of toe space. There is no comparison with flat-sole flip-flops and sandals

I've been using Orthaheel shoes for 5 years as a suggestion from my podiatrist since I was diagnosed with plantar fascitis. These are the only sandals that has allowed me to walk without pain on my heels. And now I'm looking to buy them in different colors. I urge Zappos to bring more styles from Vionic , shoes, more sandals. And the service was excellent.

Perfect for active out door days and comfortable. They are stylish enough for pants, shorts, and skirts. Size is a true fit.

These are very comfortable, with great arch support. Very well built. It is very hard to find such a stylish shoe that works for younger feet with the need for extra support.

The Tide II looks good but more importantly it feel good. Flip flops offer no support. These Vionic's have great arch support and a firm sole which is so important when you have feet and knee problems like I do. I had one small issue with the area where the strap is sewn together just behind the toe. It was a little scratchy so I cut a piece of mole skin to fit and placed it over the scratchy threads. I always wear a size 9 and ordered a 9 resulting in a perfect fit. The foot bed is the right length too. I'm happy with the color Pewter Metallic. It is a subtle gun metal color that will go with everything. Thanks Zappos for the quick shipping!

I bought these shoes because my mother recommend them. I've had foot problems for many years and these shoes are amazing! My feet don't hurt, even my back pain vanishes. I broke my back when I was a teen and have had bouts of back pain since. These shoes alleviate my back pain as well as foot pain!

These are so comfortable and really help with my pronation problem, plus they are also so cute that I would buy them even if I did not need the orthopedic benefits. I am tempted to ditch all my other flip-flops and replace each pair with a pair of Vionics. Actually, it is not a bad idea since I do have some really bad for your feet cheapos that probably do need to go in the garbage. My only gripe is the plastic footbed. Unfortunately, most sandals I find have plastic footbeds and it makes me wonder whether or not employees at various shoe manufacturers feet sweat. You see, when sweaty feet are in contact with a smooth, non-absorbent material they slide around on the surface. Why do "foot expert" companies seem to not realize this? Vionic does have a few pairs of cloth covored or suede-like footbeds but they are really too fancy-pants looking for everyday. Do not get me wrong, I love them, it is just that gems, glitter, and bows are not always what I want to walk around in.

A fabulous coworker introduced these to me after a brief conversation on running, arches and plantar fasciitis. I immediately went online to explore these supposed miracle shoes. I was looking for supportive flip flops that are not terribly ugly or "medical" in appearance. Enter Vionic. The style selection sold me before I even understood the support they provide. I was very pleased about the varying heel heights, the colors, the sporty vs. more everyday designs. And the piece de resistance? The price! I expected $100+ for the everyday flip flop styles given the Orthotic insole and based on other brands I've seen. My coworker raved that they last (she now has three pairs over two years and the original pair is still going strong), that they don't eventually get that gross flip flop foot smell when you know your shoes need to be thrown out and lastly (and most importantly) they really have amazing arch support. I've been walking around in them since UPS dropped off around 5:30 PM yesterday (it's 9:00 AM next day as I write this) and I am very impressed---comfortable, ridiculously supportive and they are pretty cute (for black flip flops!). Thanks, Vionic!

Amazing! I've grown up in flip flops in Florida...but this past year, spin class created tight calves which in turn created Plantar Fasciitis. These are so comfortable...because of so much support, they caused a bit of foot fatigue, but each time I put them on, I feel better and better.

While this is not my favorite shoe with the Orthaheel Technology, it is comfortable. I do not usually have a break-in time for these shoes, but this one needed it. For some unknown reason my left foot had a rough adjustment to the toe strap. I would not have said I had foot problems, but I did see a difference after first starting to wear Othaheels.

These fit very comfortably. They take a little getting used to. The arch is built up and puts your feet into a position that they are not used to, but you know they are doing the job they were meant to do! I wore them a few hours a day at first.
I'd also recommend:
If you don't like this pair, try another Orthaheel...don't bother with other "orthotic" shoes...they are inferior in comfort and design. I always return them, but keep my Orthaheels!
