I've been wearing the Brooks Pure Connect for about two years but when I saw that the Pure Flow was for mild overpronators I decided to try them. The pure flows feel more like a supportive running shoe with a thicker heel while the pure connect feels more like a barefoot shoe. I ended up exchanging these and going back to the pure connect because I'm using them for cross training and like to feel more connected to the ground. If I was training for a mid to long distance race, I probably would have held onto these. I wear a 7 narrow in Asics running shoes and would have been fine with a 7 in these. The toe box was roomy (maybe even too much for me) but the heel was narrow enough to hold my foot in place.

I loved the PureFlow 1, hated the 2's (returned them - they felt narrow on my narrow feet, and hot), and am now back to loving the 3's. They have a little more room in the toe box than the 2's without being as roomy as the 1's. They feel a lot more agile and sringy than the 1's or 2's while being really responsive. I ran 12 miles in them without a break-in period; I highly recommend this shoe. I wore as size 10 in the 1's and ordered the same in the 3's; I exchanged the size 10 for a 9.5.

LOVE, love, love they are comfy right out of the box and the toe box is roomy! Can't beat these! Great running shoe and strength training shoe!!

These shoes are comfortable and well fitting. My podiatrist recommended Brooks ( and others) as giving good support and helping with my gait. I have other pure flow and these run a bit narrower, but do fit well. The laces are attached through the tongue so a bit more hassle on and off. Overall, a great supportive shoe.

Very comfortable - this was my first pair of Brooks and they won't be my last! Already ordered a second pair!

PureFlow 3 is a nice shoe. I am a racewalker and it works well. I am a huge fan of the PureFlow 1 and this almost as good as that shoe. Walked 4 miles the first time with them then, 9 miles. No discomfort at all! Recommended. I would buy another pair. Also, I have a narrow foot and these feel narrower than the PureFlow 1.

I love the look of these shoes. When I tried putting them on, they felt like they were 2 sizes too small (I'd ordered half size up already) And the bottom of laces was hurting inside of both feet. I miss the original Pureflows.

I loved my Brooks PureFlow 1-- they were the most comfortable running/workout shoes I've ever had-- but they desperately needed to be replaced. I bought a pair of PureFlow 3 about 5-6 weeks ago and the fit is different enough from my original pair that I'm having trouble using them. They are true to size though on the narrow side, but the biggest problem is that the outer seam above the lacing cuts into my little toe (on both feet) in a pinching and most uncomfortable way. The problem persists even after the breaking in phase. This alone makes it hard for me to wear the shoes for any activity that is high impact or has me on my feet (including walking), though they are okay for riding a stationary bike and weight lifting. If it weren't for the toe pinching thing and the narrowness, these shoes would be great. Sadly, I'll be shopping for another pair of shoes for running and other high impact activities.

This is one of the most comfortable shoe I have found lately. If you are opposed to one side of your tongue being sewed down, don't get them, otherwise was a very good buy for me.

These are quite possibly the most comfortable running shoes I've ever worn. The fit is nearly perfect for my feet (which are slightly wider than normal), they feel like they're hugging every inch of my foot without pinching or rubbing anywhere. I have run in Brooks Ghost & Glycerin for a number of years, but have found these to be a more comfortable ride for 4 and 5 mile runs, am looking forward to trying them out on long runs.

I love the Brooks PureFlow 3. Runs true to size. Very comfy but still feels connected to the ground. I run a lot and these shoes keep me wanting to run more.

Love these shoes! Very feminine and comfortable. I'm a new mom who just started working out to lose the baby weight. I told my trainer that my ankles were killing me after working out and she recommended these shoes. No more ankle pain!

Best shoes ever! I got them to wear at work, as I work 12hr shifts at a hospital and run all over the place. These are by far the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I'll be buying another pair to wear outside of work too.

I realy like these shoes. I saw them in a recent Cosmo magazine. I decided to purchased them because they were recomended for women who like to dance for excersie. I do Zumba 6 days a week. They are perfect for Zumba. I am able to do my turns without catching the ball of my foot in the floor. Not much tread. Wide base. I got the next size up. I usually wear a 8.5 but I purchased a 9.

Very comfortable, my PT recommended these because they have a wide toe box so your digits can move naturally. I've been a Zappos customer for many years and have never had any problems ordering or returning items. Awesome customer service, which is very important to me.

Excellent shoe with no breaking-in time. My biggest requirement is cushioning and these are good. I am typically a 7 1/2 in Nike and Asics, but I got a 7 in these. I am a size 7 in non-athletic shoes, so these don't run big, but just more true to size. I have very high arches and a high instep - the only place they were snug was through my instep and I just loosened the laces. I am a walker, not a runner, but these have been on many walks now and I really like them. The biggest negative for me is the color and appearance - but that's true for any running shoe - don't understand why they all have to look so crazy.

I have a high arch. These are a great fit. I will buy another pair when these wear out.

I love these. I had been running in Nike running shoes & my whole body paid the price. These shoes are comfortable, cute, supportive, and my back doesn't hurt after my run. I love them & will only buy Brooks from now on.

These are the second Brooks running shoes I have purchased and they have been great. They are comfortable and provide great support.

Love the shoes. I wear a ten in Brooks normally; however, these there was too much toe room so I went down to a 9.5.

I love these shoes. They are the perfect combination of support and since companies often stop making a particular shoe, I am stocking up on this one. My feet and my walking self have never been happier.

I love these running shoes. I won't buy another brand. Brooks offers great support. I have tried multiple brands of running shoes after surgery on my foot and even tried ortho supports, but nothing worked as well as Brooks PureFlow.

In one word fabulous! I am relatively new to running. I just participated in my second real a marathon last weekend. For my first relay marathon last year, I had purchased a pair of Nike running shoes. After only running 4 miles I was severely injured and the injury was due to my inadequate running shoes. After going through that, I realized there was no substitute for quality. That's when my search began for the perfect running shoe and I found it in these. The fit was perfect, though I did purchase a half size bigger. As I am completely flat foot and have no arch I did have to take out the insoles and just where performance running socks. This was the perfect combination. Quite literally the best pair of running shoes I've ever owned. Ran my second relay marathon this past weekend and did excellent, no injury at all! This shoe was the perfect combination of support and cushion and I highly recommend them to another who ask!

This is my second pair of Brooks. My last pair I still wear casually since they're still in decent shape. I bought new shoes for exercising/jogging. The only issue I have is that they tend to be a little narrow for my feet. Since I have a wide foot, it takes some time to break in the shoes so that they don't bother me but well worth it. These shoes really help reduce any pain in my knees from exercising.

Follow up review! I've had these since April and still love them. I trained for my first half marathon in these so the miles have seriously added up. I'm well over the 200 mile mark in these and have decided it's time to replace them. I would say these are 200 miles runners for sure. Just ordered another pair of the PureFlow3 by Brooks. You can't beat the quality for this price!
