Oh, how I wanted to love you Brooks, you were so promising on our first run together (6 miles), but on mile 8 of our 1/2 marathon I felt that funny feeling, that feeling of a blister. I was not having it, knowing you weren't going to let me down, I blamed my sock. Well, on our last run (8 miles), at mile 7 that funny feeling came upon me again and I am now sporting a super-duper blood blister on the same toe I blamed on my sock. I am keeping you around for short runs (or walks) because you're cute; however, I am moving onto Asics Gel-Nimbus 16; a sharp looking shoe who looks determined to have me finish with a smile.

These shoes are so cute and I'm disappointed that they did not fit my feet properly. I have wide(r) feet and while I typically wear a regular width; these were just too narrow. I took the insole out (just to see if it made a difference) and with it out they actually fit great; but lacked the support and cushion of the insole. I ended up returning them for Brooks Adrenaline which just came today and seem to fit my foot much better! These are also both my first pairs of Brooks and the quality is really amazing for the price! Highly recommend!

These are comfortable shoes except that they have a weird fold across the front when you walk, even though the size was correct. I am returning them because I think this fold would cause blisters for the length of walks that I like to do.

Love Brooks but this model (PureFlow 3) did not feel as the previous PureFlow 2 shoes that I love! These PureFlow 3 shoes felt tight and narrow. Not in love with them but hoping to break them in so they will feel more comfortable.

These were pretty bad. I love the Pure Flow originals and was looking to replace them with these. These hit in all the wrong places. Weird. I bought the Pure Cadence 2s on sale and they are okay, but I prefer the wider sole of the original Pure Flows. These Pure Flow 3s, though, are totally unwearable.

I had a previous version of this shoe which was perfect. This one is totally different. There is a band across the top of the arch so you can't open up the laces very much. That's a real problem if you have a high arch and/or wear orthodics. I was able to squeeze into it but it was very tight and uncomfortable, so I'm returning them.

I may be in the minority here because I actually loved the PureFlow 2's and don't like these at all. I thought they were too tight even on my narrow foot. I'm ordering all the pairs of the 2's I can get my hands on.

If you loved the Pureflow 2's like I did, you'll hate these. They feel at least 1/2 a size smaller than the same size in the 2's. The toe box is much narrower, they are tight across the top of the foot, and the back of the shoe is higher which causes rubbing and blisters on my ankle. I don't know why they had to change a good thing. I'll keep buying the 2's until they're out of stock then switch to a different brand/model. Unfortunately I put a couple outdoor runs on these hoping I would change my mind, so now I'm stuck with them.

This shoe was very attractive, but I didn't realize it had an elastic strap across the top of the foot. This proved to be very uncomfortable for me and I could barely get the shoe on. So it's going back and I'm going to stick to my Ravenna style.
