I've been wearing waterproof Jungle Mocs daily for about 5 or 6 years and I love how comfortable they are, but they don't last like they used to. The first pair lasted me 1.5-2 years until they wore out and the waterproofing failed. The past couple pairs have lost waterproofing within 6 months. Although I wear them daily, they don't get wet every day and the lack of durability is really disappointing.

I purchased my regular size 8 M and they were small so I returned them for a size 8.5. I promptly received the size 8.5 and they're too small also. I'm very disappointed because I've had many pairs of Merrell (8M) and they've always been the most comfortable shoes I've owned.

I loved my non-waterproof jungle moc and ordered the waterproof style in the same size a couple years ago. They were snug, but I thought this would resolve with break in; it didn't. They've never been comfortable even with the thinnest socks I have. I think the features perform--keep my feet warm and dry in the winter--but I'm disappointed that I'll end up donating these and repurchasing. Recommend ordering up a size, especially if you plan to wear medium weight socks like we tend to do with a waterproof shoe. Really wish I had exchanged for a larger size. Style to style within the brand, your size should be your size without need to bracket your purchase.

I have worn Merrell Women's Jungle Mocs for many years and I can always count on the size 9 fitting me, so I just order on the internet instead of trying to find a store and try on. I just received this pair and for the first time ever they did not fit, very small. My mother wears an 8 and she could barely get her foot in to them, so I am guessing the size is off by 1 or 1.5 sizes. If you want to wear socks too, I would go even bigger. Maybe this was a dud pair as I never experienced this issue before or they changed how they are made.

Has Merrell changed this shoe shape? This is the third Jungle Moc I've bought. It used to be much wider in the toe box - what I needed. Love the shoe otherwise - but I can't wear the new shape any more.

Ordered size 8. Only real concern is that it immediately rubbed a small blister on the top of one toe. I would blame it on my toe, but the toe itself is quite ordinary and I haven't ever had this issue with my other Merrell Jungle Mocs or any other shoe. The shoe has room for a thick sock. If I were planning to wear with normal-weight cotton trouser socks, I'd try sizing down a half-size. The shoes are definitely warm. I don't love the black sueded finish and would prefer a matte leather. I also wish the dark gray accent color of the rubber on the side was brighter - orange or yellow or light green, for example.
As a possible alternative I'm trying the Keen Winter Kaci in size 8.5. It also has room for a thick sock and hasn't rubbed my toe at all. It's also quite warm while being noticeably lighter-weight with a more flexible sole.

I loved the shoe style, feel and fit in the heel. However it was just too short for my size 12 foot. My toes touched the end and this was not good. I needed the next size up, but unfortunately the women's sizes did not go any higher. I had to return the shoes.

Interestingly, the Waterproof Moc size 8 fits slightly more snug than regular Moc size 8. I'll keep the size 8 regular Moc. Must return waterproof version as neither the 8 nor 8.5 have enough room in the toe box for my wide foot. I generally wear a 7.5 if roomy toe box, or 7 wide, or 8 to get room in toe box area.

I purchased these to replace the non-waterproof Jungle Moc, but the fit is quite different. I needed to order a half size up (from 9.5 to 10), and they run narrow. It’s very tight around the top over my arch. Still, I like the shoe, so I’m using my husband’s shoe stretchers to try to loosen the fit.

I'm still in the deciding phase for these shoes. I have an old pair of this style and I love them, but I've had them for years. This new pair is rather snug and I'm wearing them around the house trying to decide if they will stretch enough to be really comfortable. I ordered my usual size and there is plenty of room in the length/toe, but the rest of the shoe feels like a compression sock. I have a narrow to normal width foot, so a wider foot person could not wear these. Love the style and my old pair is at least 15 years old and still going strong. I just wanted a waterproof pair.

I returned this for 1/2 size large in the same shoe. I've been ordering Merrell shoes and boots for a few years now -- always ordering a size 8 -- and have found every one but this style to fit perfectly. These shoes are wide enough, but the length is too short.

This particular version of Jungle Moc fits me way too tightly. They are beautiful, but I've needed to return them twice because it was impossible to break them in while wearing them around the apartment. Since I am a Jungle Moc fan and have been wearing them for many years, I'm thinking it would be better to just spray the ordinary Jungle Mocs with waterproofing, rather than buy the waterproof version (which seem to fit a half size smaller than the stated size). I will continue to buy the ordinary Mocs because they are the most comfortable & supportive shoes I've ever worn. I am grateful to Merrell for coming up with this design, and hope they continue making them for many years to come.

I have jungle Mocs from 2000 in my regular size that I want to replace. I ordered a half size up based on reviews. It was way small. I don't know whether to reorder another half or full size, so haven't decided if I should bother. The waterproof moc isn't in any of the usual stores (Dillard's, etc.).

I was Really disappointed. I have Merrell Jungle mocs that are 30 years old, half a size smaller than what I bought. They are SO comfortable and I can wear thick socks with them. I tried on the new ones with very thin socks...still too tight across the widest part of the foot and NO toe room. I will be gluing my old ones and I might try a larger size, I haven't decided yet. FYI: the old ones are in great shape for so much wear and tear.

I really wanted to love these waterproof Jungle Mocs because I like the regular ones so much, but they were not comfortable to me at all. The shoe was very stiff and ungiving on my foot and I had to struggle to even get them to bend enough to pull on. Once on, they fit, but they were just not comfortable enough! So, back to the regular Jungle Mocs for me!

I would have kept it, but the color of the online picture looks way more towards brownish. The actual color is a gray, which I don't care for; returning them.

These are much smaller than they used to be, and the style has changed as well, now having side vents rather than the previous neoprene collar. These now look more like loafers. But they are very small. My other Merrells are all 38 and 39, my previous Jungle Moc is a 39, and these 39s are way too small. I'd need to go up to at least 41 or higher to fit. Too upset to even deal with that right now. I don't know why Merrell has changed the fit of all their shoes.

I ordered these in 2 sizes before a vacation. Neither worked for me. Both sizes felt narrow and I didn't feel very much support. The top edge of the shoe also felt like it was too close to my ankle. I do have flat arches and a bunion but usually do not need a wide width. It's a good looking shoe and a good price but didn't work for me. I ended up with the Dansko Paisley which was more expensive but fit me better. Thank you, Zappos, for getting them to me before my vacation to rainy Alaska!

I've been buying and wearing the Merrill Mocs for many years, and have always found them comfortable and well made. This new version has some design revisions from the previous mics, and still maintain the comfort and craft you would expect from Merrill.

I usually own two pair of these at a time; thick sock pair in size 9, thin or no socks, 8 1/2. This allows for an orthotic under the insole. I now need to replace the size 9, and twice I've gotten shoes that are tighter than the 8 1/2 WITH ORTHOTIC! I guess it's just the new normal for these shoes. I just hope this isn't a "stretching out" issue and that I can buy a 9 1/2 and have them fit for the life of the shoe, or if I'll start walking out of them

I didn't purchase this shoe because it really runs to the small side. I normally wear an 8 1/2 but ordered that size 9, as Merrells usually run a little short. Well, this one really ran short. I then ordered a 9 1/2, but that was still short. I stopped at that point, as I have never worn a size 10 in a shoe. The regular Jungle Moc ran true to size. I ordered an 8 1/2 and that fit fine. I really didn't understand the way they sized this shoe. If it does work for you, it seems like a fine shoe.

Very disappointed that waterproof shoes were much too small, but nothing on the website stated that they ran small and therefore did not have waterproof shoes in time for snow storm. Buying online is not the best way to purchase shoes.
